I just cant get this game work on LD 3.3.3?!?! And it's really pi55*g me off... After installation game works fine, but after first reboot just gone. In app manager stands something like com.popcap.pvz (500 kb) without game icon... On every other rom i tried, game works nice.. Guide me to the light ppl...
If this game hasn't had an update since it's initial release then it will do this on most Android devices. It does it for me.
[SOLVED]
I stumble across some post on another forum, maybe solution for this kind of issues, and installed Adobe flash player from market. Now game works flawlesly.
Hi there,
i see a lot of thread with lists of must-have apps for Android. But what about must-have apps optimized for Android 4.0 (or 3.0) ?
You know, the ones using the native Action Bar (no menu button in the Navigation Bar), Holo themes and following the awesome new design guidelines ?
For now, i've just found Dropbox, and some of Google's apps (Reader and Earth for exemple).
Do you have some more ? I'ld love to see a nice and simple file manager for exemple.
Root Explorer is ICS optimized and works great

I have just been thinking about this too.
Due Today is ICS optimised and looks great.
BeyondPod is not quite there yet. Recent updates mean that the now playing screen look very nice but the other screens still need work and the settings are still in the wrong place.
Thanks!
I tested both free versions of Due Today and Root Explorer, and none of them are using the Holo theme nor Action Bar (for exemple). Maybe the paid version are.
Actually, even some Google Apps aren't really ICS optimized (Google Navigation and Google Goggles for exemple), which is kinda disappointing.
Dropbox, Gigbeat, MX Video Player, SmartPhone, Ultimate Stopwatch
there's also podkicker to check out for podcasts

Reddit is fun is starting to use the ICS theme
Netflix is. It hides the nav buttons. Not in terms of UI though if that's what you mean.
Bacon Reader for Reddit has a nice interface that is ICS-ish
Yup, i was talking about UI mainly, but those kind of compatibility are welcome (but sadly no Netflix here in France).
Just tested Gigbeat (already awesome on Gingerbread) and MX Video Player : that's exactly what i'm looking for, thanks!
I'll try to update the first post with those apps.
Sweet

I've been using AOKP otter build 38 but it consistently has new issues appearing and I hate the lack of volume control in the notification drawer.
What I use my ROM for: Mostly video streaming from the XFINITY Player app. I'd like to play games more but 6/10 of them crash or have other issues that make them unplayable. Other than that I don't do too much web browsing or any other type of app.
best Rom

Try gedeROM. v1.55 is the most stable but 1.6 and 1.65 have some performance improvements.
i'm using glazed ics and most of the games play well....
After i installed flash player, i trayed watch movies online on different sites with my mozilla browser and dolphin hd, but flash player seems to working without hwa (on nvidia tegra zone is writen that it should support hwa), so video looks very laggy, maybe someone knows knows the solution ?
Well flash support ended in ice cream sandwich. Adobe never released flash for jelly bean( in fact, they have removed flash from the play store completely)
So its possible that there could have been a change in the libs for the GPU and thus HW acceleration no longer works.
If adobe released the source for flash player for android, which I doubt they will do, then at dev may be able to fix this.
Yes, but im looking for the people who have working hwa, (some gays n other threads feedback that they have flash on n7 without any problems) so i thought that maybe problem is in my configuration or i downloaded the wrong version...
