I have searched everywhere but did not found encryption option in G Pro.
Is it hidden ?
Any Idea Over supporting Sd Card Also for encryption ?
I encrypt my G Pro (internal) by using Sophors Antivirus & Security to activate encryption option. No idea if anyone can go to that option directly without help of any other tool.

Running the MK1 firmware, I cannot find the option to encrypt the external SDcard. The option used to be right under the encrypt device option. Can someone confirm/deny this behavior? I promise that I am not hallucinating.

Same here. Looked for it and its not there. Ended up using an app for hiding folders but it is not secure at all.

That's strange because I have it in the security settings. Direct under the encryption for the internal storage (see attachment).
Maybe Samsung remove in the last update (mk1)?

I appreciate you checking. After work, I re-flashed the MJ4 firmware and the setting was there. Then I flashed the MK1 version, and poof: no more extSdCard encryption.

Hello,
Are there some folders or some locations on the OS drive that are automatically encrypted ?
I've read that encryption was proposed by default for any new buyed telephone but not everything is encrypted on Lollipop.
I was curious to know how it is with the Zenfone 2 ?
I have 550 ml version.
Thanks.
Nope. Nothing is encrypted by default. Not that I know of anyway.
Some of the folders with be protected with rw restrictions, but not encrypted.

What do you mean are protected ?
Is this something new in Lollipop or does already exist in previous versions ?
Thanks.

So far there's no solution for it.
I have the same problem with you mate ..... :crying:
external sdcard(1st partition fat32) storage space information such as total size and available/free space on overview page of titanium backup pro in Android MM is not shown. I need this. Can anyone find a solution/workaround for this until titanium fixes this in future updates. Thanks in advance

That's a good question. I never really researched on it. However, i think i don't need to research on it any further based on your rhetoric.
Btw, the reason i asked, is that i lose that feature as well when i upgraded to marshmallow in my other device (zenfone 2 ze551ML). It didn't stop me from using TB though. However, i needed a separate xposed module named XinternalSD to make the backup of TB work on my external SD.
Anyway, I'll just be monitoring this thread, as someone might just be able to give a useful answer.
yes mi max with marshmallow 601 and miui global 8010 stable rom. Except for the above everything is ok. hope someone comes up with a fix
You need to go to the control panel and all apps and enable document service which will allow TB to access the SD card. I'm using it.
dtswk, I have not understood what you have written. I am able to take backups and restore as well to external sd card. The issue is display of storage information on overview page of titanium backup at the bottom which does not show for external sdcard
I am extremely paranoid (just my personality) and am wondering can I do a full device encryption like you can on pc? If so to what extent and how hard would it be to break? I looked into the built in encryption but its bypassable on to many devices. Also is it possible to have it that a password needs to be entered on the device when it's plugged into computer to allow MTP transfer (another password besides lock screen)

You could encrypt the sd card if you had one.

I know that but that isn't much and not really what I'm going for, yes SD encryption is something I want along with full encryption so at boot time a password is needed like you can do on windows

There's a setting called secure startup which requires a password at boot. I suppose that would do the same?
