I wont be able to create this ROM unless I get enough donations release project, so please support!
Our plans are to pay for a team that will create a User Interface very similar to iOS 6 and then me and my programming team will program it over our custom android 4.1 port.
We are only looking for $100 to release the beta. The donations will be used to host the server for the BETA release. Anyone who donates will get a direct link first for maximum download speed.
Current Donations: $60 / $100
I have decided to port Jellybean 4.1 to the Samsung Galaxy S III.
I made this thread to look for ideas on tweaks/custimizations I should make to my ROM.
Hopefully this ROM will be completed in the next week or two.
If you are interested in testing this rom comment below.
ROM Port Status: 1. Working on coding a custom kernal -almost done
2. Customize the UI -need ideas, comment bellow.
3. More to come
Just looking for more thoughts and opinions

We appreciate all donations to xda-developers.com, it keeps our forum online and well maintained. As a user you're allowed to ask for donations in your signature as a thank you for your hard work. However donations up front are not allowed, this forum is about sharing, not about getting paid to do something, that's what your job is for.
Hey guys, just wanted to share this with you. Thought it was pretty neat and a fresh take on android since the roms lately kinda seem like the same old stuff anymore, not to put down the great work the devs of this community put out. I just signed up to be a beta tester so hopefully they'll email me back saying i can test this software. I believe this would be considered closed source, but would be great if they approached this community for input into this OS. If this has been covered already, mods please let me know and this posting can be deleted.

New PTPT Beta Release
Hi t1.8matt,
I was able to try PTPT's previous version and I agree -> a definite fresh take on android They'll be launching a newer release some time next week. Probably Friday March 22, so stay tuned. Along with the release, there will be an easier way for beta testers to login and download the .apk.
I wanted to share a video with you re: PTPT but currently, I am not allowed to post outside links
Cheers!
Honestly, I watched a couple videos on it and dont really find the UI pleasing to the eye. But I guess I will keep an eye on it just in case.
PTPT New UI
Hi jsgraphicart, PTPT's initial UI needed to be a lot more user friendly. I saw the latest version of their UI and there has been much improvement. Hopefully, you'll join as a beta tester when the new release comes out next week. I'll make sure to send you the link.
Cheers!

Thanks so much for trying the link. We're in the process of making the LOGIN a lot easier, with a link to download the .apk.
It should be ready by this Friday, March 22.
I'll let you know once everything is done.
Cheers!
Hello folks, I am planning to purchase a brand new device maybe Redmi note 6 pro or Asus zenphone max m2 pro. The main reason I want to buy it is for maintaining dot os 3.0 So I am still confused what I should buy so made this poll, just to see if people are interested in getting dot 3.0 for their device or simply want to stay in stock as its Android One will probably get updates... That's the main reason why I made this thread and poll don't take me wrong I just want to see if people are interested. I will surely purchase Asus Zenphone Max M2 Pro if this poll receives 500+ yes, till 23rd March 2019! I am also interested in developing for this device as there isn't much ROMs/Kernels for this device. Thanks for reading this long  now hit your poll don't run away :silly:

It will be closed till 22nd March 2019 till then let's see if I can have 500+ Yes then I will work on it  Dont take me wrong I just want to check how many people are interested in this project. :highfive:

We're fortunate that the Evolution X team has started working on the 3rd test build for Marble (Poco F5 / Redmi Note 12 Turbo). Development just began yesterday. Thankfully, there already prebuilt kernels/modules so test ROMs boots successfully. So far, SMS, NFC, Cam and other basic functions are operational. A crowd funding activity started yesterday and for those who might be interested to support may do so as the target is about halfway met.

Hi to everyone! I'm Joey, Lead developer and Founder of the Evolution X ROM.
You may have seen my work on other devices, specifically work on Mi A1, K20 Pro and Mi 11 as those are devices I maintain. I've chosen to purchase a Poco F5 due to the specs-price ratio. I think the benefits I'll get with the device will greatly coincide with the new community I will be handling.
I'm excited to build for you guys soon and hopefully Xiaomi or a different dev completes the missing parts of our OSS kernel in order for us to be able to release these builds in an Official manner via XDA.
Kindly help contribute to the current crowdfund if you think it's worth supporting our project and to bring an official ROM straight to this device as early as now. Hoping that we can get the device before next week.

We will include additional stuff like those once we start work on OSS vendor. For now, we're using a prebuilt vendor and kernel.
Also regarding the crowdfund, we've reached $323 and around $146 remains! Help contribute if you guys can!

If you're talking about the marble kernel, it's incomplete as of this moment. If it's about OSS vendor, kindly link it here.

I am now rocking Test Build 6 in my Redmi Note 12 Turbo! Will post updates once stable build is out. As of yesterday, the team lead has already secured a community device (courtesy of crowd funding) and is currently unlocking. Stay tuned!
Hello @jerbau,
although we allow bounty/fundraisers/donation threads under certain circumstances, we are generally discouraged. The developer must have good reputation and the thread must not started from 3rd party without him being aware of. Regardless a custom ROM is no innovative development and doesn't qualify for. If you want to re-open the thread, please get in contact on PM with moderators for approval first.
Furthermore we remind you, upfront donations are not permitted as per our forum rules.
