I don't think that's possible considering that XDA doesn't allow such things and this forum is dead.

The forum is not dead, truly this forum is to will be release because this is the smartphone of the future, ASUS do not joke with any component of this device.

It is a pity that this phone hasn't a good support. It has not even official twrp or linage os. It's a great device

Sure, you can get me a device but:
- I don't promise that I'll achieve some great success with it,
- It'd have to be shipped from Europe,

Hi guys, i'm not developer and i'm not asking to hurry up or anything like that.
I just wonder if someone know anything about lineage coming to Mate 20X. Do you think it is possible? There is any developer trying?
Do we have forum to see it?
I like the Mate 20X, i have the AL00, i'm waiting til the lineage come to buy the unlock codes.
I should give up or I can still have faith?

Once Huawei decided to stop Bootloader Unlocking Services, it also stopped releasing kernel sources for new devices (correct me if im wrong).

Resurrection Remix is almost at official release and OmniROM is in testing. I've been running Resurrection for about a week now and aside from volte everything is running smoothly. It feels good to have this hardware running AOSP. It's the way this phone should be.

EMUI 9. You have to join the Telegram group and request to test it. Due to the developers respect we don't share the roms publicly but they should be up on Open Kirins website soon.

How's the camera pics compared to stock? I noticed that lineage/AOSP are worst compared to the stock from my previous phones.

Just ordered the AL00 and I want to run it the way I like it , not the way Huawei thinks I should like it!

Bootloader unlocking has been suspended again. I'm sure it will be back up again in the future but only for a few days like last time.

Yup, he will come home at Saturday I believe and then he will work on kernel and GSI, A telegram group will be also up when he post the GSI

Phone uses a SOC that just does not get much development in general. It's not the A70's fault per se. See Google Pixel 3a, or Xiaomi A3. Barely any development. Most roms are just half-baked, have "sleep death" and whatnot bugs.
That said, check the SD 855 for example. Same story. OnePlus 7 Pro just got official LineageOS, but if you check Xiaomi Mi 9 or Mi 9T Pro - both are dead.
The SD845 had more development going on for sure. Oh well.

Development is already underway for a70. We already have a functional twrp and the dev's are completing the source compilation to start custom rom building. Just need to fix the fp part. Will be done in a timely manner because we have some great and dedicated developers onboard.

complete kernel source release?

And when will get a custom rom our device.

Kernel is complete just we have to wait for devlopers to get the device and we will see roms in December I guess:fingers-crossed:

I've searched far and wide for the same and i didn't find any ROM for any phone with a Mediatek chipset.

Care to share which ROM you're in the dev team of? I'm sorry but the one thing being a member of XDA for close to 8 years had taught me is that some people like to lie about being a developer. It's such an inconvenience to other members that want to experience something positive.

Yeah i can share check official redmi note 8 pro telegram we just need testers but they are hard to get coz of that authorised account:crying:

General [CLOSED] EvolutionX for Marble in progress

We're fortunate that the Evolution X team has started working on the 3rd test build for Marble (Poco F5 / Redmi Note 12 Turbo). Development just began yesterday. Thankfully, there already prebuilt kernels/modules so test ROMs boots successfully. So far, SMS, NFC, Cam and other basic functions are operational. A crowd funding activity started yesterday and for those who might be interested to support may do so as the target is about halfway met.

i tried the 2nd build. wow, i like it, very stable. i used evo x rom on my poco f3 for almost 2 years. any plans to include mi sound and miui camera in this rom? really appreciate your hard work

We will include additional stuff like those once we start work on OSS vendor. For now, we're using a prebuilt vendor and kernel.
Also regarding the crowdfund, we've reached $323 and around $146 remains! Help contribute if you guys can!
