My LG E-975 has been rooted and installed SetCPU,made a profile to make it a little bit cooler and a friend of mine suggested me to turn off thermal daemon mitigation off by turning it on from hidden menu for the purpose to make my phone cooler.is it safe and recomended? I have no idea what thermal daemon mitigation is for.-thanks in advance,

It means that the phone does not underclock the CPU even if the phone gets too hot, mostly good for benchmarking and gaming. One noticeable difference is that the phone doesn't turn down the screen brightness which it used to do for preventing overheating.
Thank you.i can see significant increase on benchmarking.impressed at first, but kinda worried.is it alright turning it on daily basis?

hi all, this is the first time i come here
I am using LG Optimus G, i have tried many rom(event stock) for my phone, but in wait time my phone drain 2%-3%/1h.
When i set Screen 100%, listening music via 3G and use camera(with flash on), my phone lose 85% baterry energy for 2h 30minutes, so i think my battery phone was fine.
I have tried many ways to improve batterry life, but nothing change.
Please give me some suggestion, thank you :fingers-crossed:
I also use Greenify and Titanium to freeze some app and service, but the problem still come
And what do expect?it's like saying : "hey,i drive my car with 200km/h and i have great fuel consumption. You gave the answers yourself. 3g streaming and highest brightness on a 4.7" display?nice job. And if you are in a low signal area, the things get even better. Haven't you heard yet?3g is one of the biggest cause for drain.
Use betterbatteystats to see what causes the drain.if you don't play games a litle underclocking would save you some battery.

@kimitza
Thank for your reply, funny man!
I have tested with "Airplane mode", and my phone still drain 2%/1h on standby mode
So you have something eating your battery. Bbstats and cpu spy to see if the phone goes to deep sleep and then look for hungry apps.

My first post was placed in wrong category and i can not delete it, so sorry.
Now, i installed 2 app you recommed, i will see the hungry apps.
Thank you :victory:
hi @kimitza,
I have installed and tested with 2 apps you recommened.
"Phone Idle" has 47% and "Cell standby" has 30%(i also set CPU to minimum frequence and also tested with "Airplane mode").
I don't know why
try greenify on playstore to hibernate(freeze) bloated apps

I don't install any apps, so i have nothing to hibernate. I have tried Titanium and freezed a lot of services and apps
and also wakelock detector to monitor if there is any apps causing wakelocks
I duno what yu are expecting... But losing 3% / hr is fine.... Since you using 3g....also setcpu wont underclock the freq of all the cores.. It ly manages the master core i.e. Core0....so mobiles with quad core processors, setcpu is not tat grt application..... I've edited the thermald conf file in /etc and set the cpu cores to 1026mhz, by this way you can underclock the freq of all the 4 cores... With 2 hrs screen on I lost 70% of battery juice in 12hrs with ECO MODE OFF, 3G DATA ALWAYS ON, Screen brightness set to 25% with auto...

Performance is gud.....I can play NFS most wanted without any lag...also keep in mind that wen yu are playing games be sure that auto brightness must be disabled as it causes lag...:good:

HERE...document yourself . It's for N7000,but the basics are the same. You must understand how things work first, then ask questions.

if you still don't make it good,i recommend you sell this phone and get a nokia 1100. heck,it even has a flashlight.

Dear Guys, I am trying to ask your eperiences with LG Optimus E975 (Originally LG F180l)
The phone is old (Feb 2014), but until now it worked great. I bought it on my trip around South Korea, but I use it at the Czech Republic.
Situation:
The LGF180l phone has started battery drain very quickly, even in idle mode (Data Off, Sync account off, GPS OFF, Brightness Min, Auto bright off, Screen rotation off, Airplane mode ON, LG Phone backup OFF ...) In this configuration, the screen still consumes about 50% of the battery. Previous vallue was about 20% in normal operation mode. So I tried using LG Flash Tool 2014 to make CSE Flash and convert my phone to LG Optimus E975. The situation has not changed. Even with a perfectly clean installation, the screen consumption instantly jumps to 50-60% after the turn off and keep it permanently.
I tried to change batteries too. 1st battery has the year of production 2013, the second has 2017, but both has the same behaviour. I've tried uninstalling Google+, Google Photos, Hangouts, and more. Still without result. Now I have back the original factory configuration of the LG E975 and still the same.
If the phone turns off, there is no consumtion and battery drain.
I'm really crazy, maybe I have to tell the boss about the new phone .
I am on v10j-IND and i cant get Antutu to run the full test on my device. Everytime i run it, it never goes past27% testing and finally reboots after showing the popup "High temperature detected, powering off for protection"
I tried it atleast 10 times, but no luck in getting past 27% of testing. Same error again and again.
Is anyone else as well facing the same ?
Also I would like to ask Korean friends on 10K/10L if they have any reboot/power off or High temperature detection issue.
TIA

When I bought it one friend wanted to see how fast is the G3 32GB and I downloaded it. I made 32 000 + antitu score. So it might be something wrong with your device

Thermal Deamon mitigation and High temperature property, both are ON.
I haven't had any problems on my LG G3 D855 (32GB) with Antutu Benchmark. Ran my first test and got 40513. Maybe try lowering your brightness to about 40% just for the test.

Ok let me toggle them and see what happens.
The only difference that it made is that now the phone reboots w/o any warning :|
My F460S won't do Antutu 5 without it crashing at 76%. I can run antutu 4 but my scores seem absurdly low for the SD805. I think antutu is having issues with the SD805 and just in general it will crash in V4 as well. I think they need to really debug their benchmark because my D850 hit 42K with the SD801 yet my F460S hit 34K with the SD805. There is something flawed in their app.

Alright, beside antutu crashing, does your phone reboot while using it at other times ?
Does it heat up when u use it while charging or when you are on 3G ?
Also please tell me in the 10K/10L update solved any of ur previously experienced heating problem.

I have build number 10f on my F460S and I turned off thermal mitigation and it doesn't overheat and reboot while running antutu. Antutu will just crash, also antutu 5 is "no longer compatible with my phone" according to the app so I had to uninstall it. I usually have LTE and its fine, as I use qi to charge so my phone is always warm while charging and it doesn't reboot randomly.

No problem here are the screen shots of the scores for reference posted below. Hopefully this will get fixed in antutu so I can run the whole benchmark for my f460.
Pilz what score do you get in quadrant with both of your LG phones?
Are you using any tweaks for your phones?
Do you guys have to turn your phone into Airplane Mode every time before running Antutu?
Is it so that we can't get an Antutu score on G3 when we are connected to the network?

And here is the solution, i am also victim of this issue, This only happen when you are on ART runtime, go back to dalvik and it will work

Hello everyone, my base firmware was 10A, then I've installed 10E. I had low performance on davlik and when I installed 20A nothing changed. So when I launch dialer, camera, hangouts first second or 1.5 seconds I have white screen and then fade in, very slow.. Any suggestions how I can improve performance? Thermal Daemon Mitigation and High Temperature Property OFF have ON state.
My LG G3 was working flawlessly on kitkat v10o until I press "Reload Theme" in TWRP. My phone got a bootloop and i have to flash it with v10e.
On v10e Set CPU software behaves abnormally: cannot set the max cpu speed, the min cpu speed jump from 300-1472 Mhz, sometimes makes my phone hot like hell.
Anyone encounter the same problem like me?

The max cpu automatically adjusts on the LG g3 for thermal throttling, if this is happening to erratically look for a better kernel or update to Marshmallow as I am not experiencing any problems with that
