Hello everyone, my base firmware was 10A, then I've installed 10E. I had low performance on davlik and when I installed 20A nothing changed. So when I launch dialer, camera, hangouts first second or 1.5 seconds I have white screen and then fade in, very slow.. Any suggestions how I can improve performance? Thermal Daemon Mitigation and High Temperature Property OFF have ON state.

Hey there,
i am using Cyanogenmod 11 ROM on my Optimus G E975 since day one i got the phone. I was using the Nightlie from 22nd of April and it was on the whole very satisfying. I was updating to M8 respectively NIGHTLY_20140718, hoping for a few bugfixes and 4.4.4 functions.
After M8 was not keeping my statusbar setting and crashed sometimes i flashed the NIGHTLY superior mentioned. Unfortunately i am experiencing a few issues/bugs. I always wipe everything, flash ROM and Gapps, then i restore my apps and setting with Titanium Backup.
NFC Problem
When i turn NFC on in the Setting, NFC is ticked and greyed out. Do i have to copy some lib-files like in houstonn's old ROM to get it working, or what is the problem ? It was present on old NIGHTLY, too.
Push Problem
In daily use, apps like Facebook, Hangouts and WhatsApp are not pushing anymore, i only get Facebook Message Notification when i open the app manually. Maybe this has something to do with restoring an Titanium Backup ? But, i never had this kind of problem in my "flashing career".
Camera Problem
When i try to make a photosphere or panorama with the google camera app, it shows only black in the display and does not take a pic.
Here is a screenshot : https://db.tt/MbsC6hrO
As the Optimus G is kind of a "sister model" of the Nexus 4, shouldnt Photosphere by usable ? This problem was present on old NIGHTLY, too.
Power Button Response
I'm not sure, but i think after flashing new NIGHTLY i have to press the Power Button with more force or longer to wake up the device.
After doing an hour of research in the forums, i did not figure out any solutions. Is anyone of you sharing my experiences ? If there are solutions aviable for the problems mentioned above, would you please be so kind, to guide my to the corresponding links ?
Thanks a bunch,
Christian
I'm only using the CM11 M8 Snapshot, not the nightly but I'm having the same NFC and Photosphere/panorama issues you're having too.
Regarding the power button and push problems, I don't seem to be having those issues.
Hope there's a fix for them.
I guess there's also another issue with CM11 M8: the "Processor" CPU clock controller on "Perfomance" menu is completely unreliable. The Maximum CPU Frequency just doesn't get saved. It doesn't mean which CPU governor you're currently using.
For example, I set max CPU frequency as 594 Mhz and "ondemand" profile, but some time later, I touch the phone and notice it's really hot. When I check the max CPU freq value again, I see it reverted to the default 1512 MHz, which explains the heat. It also reverts to the max CPU freq when rebooting the phone, even if "Set on boot" box is ticked. And it also happens with SetCPU app, but does not with stock firmware.
I've had my G3 since launch and it's always lagged really bad when I've been using more than 1 app at once e.g., listening to music and web browsing. The device reaches 95c and then shuts down so I've had to downclock the CPU to 1.9ghz to stop the shutdowns. With it underclocked, it lags even worse now and still reaches quite high temps (75c~) I'm still on a rooted Kitkat as I haven't had time to upgrade the ROM. Do the new 5.xx ROM's fix the lag? Does it still over heat when doing really simple things?
Hi,
When i was on the stock 5.0 (20h) i had a bit of overheating but never reached the point of a shutdown.
Now I'm on a custom Rom (cloudy 2.5) and i have no heating issues, and a very good battery life.
You can try flashing the latest KDZ for your device and test it. You should also check that you don't have a process eating resources running in the background.
For me the only application that lags is the phone/agenda. It is bad lagging when you have many contacts.
I hope it helps.

lag
flash new rom clougyg3 v2.5...works wonders ....avoid task killers ...use system ui with expose installer if you want some customization...

95c? thats frying hot and not safe at all. I guess since you have had it since launch you cant return it. try custom roms and kernels and if it doesnt still fix, i d say go for another device.
assuming you are rooted and have twrp, you can try the ctt mod: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/thermal-mod-t2907363
worked for me and im on stock rom stock kernel kitkat(vs985). i just got on opera browser for about 6 minutes and the temp just sat at 55c and the power button is not even warm. before flashing the ctt mod i would start blowing at the back of my phone after 2 minutes of web browsing alone.
Hey, about 2 weeks ago I noticed weird behavior from my battery.
When phone is locked battery drain is too fast.
It seems that the "android system" keep the phone awake for long periods,
And that the "android os" keep using the cpu.
I've been trying many thing - wifi, location, sync etc but nothing helped.
Used system panel to monitor my battery life,
Here are the results from the last 8 hours (100% at morning till now)
Attached photos - Overall battery usage, Screen on, Android System, Android OS, System Panel and More detailed system processes,
In the first 3 system processes there is high cpu usage even when screen is off..
(Top one, System, attached)
I know the overall battery using seems to be good,
But it's only because I've been using the phone the whole day.
The problem is when I'm not using it - it drain very fast with no reason.
I don't remember any change I've done (didn't update the software, maybe an app),
And before that the battery life was great (and so they are now if I'm using the phone continuously without "putting it in my pocket".)
Any help?
I have a brand new lg g3 d855 successfully updated to lollipop. The reason is still unknown i was having the same problem. But then in a video at youtube i saw an app known as "qualcommn snapdragon guru" download it use its feature to stop apps and all that stuff and battery will be very improved.
Well if i look at your screenshot i could say it was normal, the one that draining your battery is your screen (based on your ss). But in other way you can download some apps to control your kernel (e.g kernel auditor) and swipe to "kernel samepage merging" tab, look if its on or off, if on just turn it off and see your battery life then, it happen to me sometimes.
I recently got my phone to bathroom while i was bathing (not in bath, just in room). After that my D855 keeps randomly restarting or getting black screen and no answer (i have to remove the battery, install it again and power up the phone). When my battery level is low or temperature is high phone doesnt want to boot up (shuting down while booting). Any help? Im on stock kernel and Fulmics 4.2 with oversharpening on stock value and CTT mod on 2.34ghz.
My LG G3 was working flawlessly on kitkat v10o until I press "Reload Theme" in TWRP. My phone got a bootloop and i have to flash it with v10e.
On v10e Set CPU software behaves abnormally: cannot set the max cpu speed, the min cpu speed jump from 300-1472 Mhz, sometimes makes my phone hot like hell.
Anyone encounter the same problem like me?

The max cpu automatically adjusts on the LG g3 for thermal throttling, if this is happening to erratically look for a better kernel or update to Marshmallow as I am not experiencing any problems with that
