cm 10.1 for LG optimus G

my english is very limited capital
I have seen cm10.1 optimus G, but for E973, has anyone tried it on F180L

You will mostly not be able to flash other rom than the one i link as newest. You need to remove the first line in updater script of newer rom to flash it. If you make the effort to remove that line, please note that those rom are testing rom and they are provided as-is. They might have newer thing in but also new bugs. Take it like pre-alpha of this alpha rom.

Ripped of my thread, if someone come in canadian thread and tell me it work on korean rom, i'll post it where it's needed.

Look on candian forum, it's possible to have it on rogers E971.

Update gapps?

I flased to cm10 last week and I used the gapps pack that Chad suggested (20121130). Now goo.im is telling me that there is an update to a pack that is before Chad's release (20121212).
Should I update or is there a reason that Chad linked to an older gapps pack?

I am not one of the developers. But I have tried to flashed the newest gapps updates on OG running CM10.1. It kept force close after I flash it. Then I flash back and it is fine again.
You can try flashing it but better do a backup first.

Once installed, you dont need to flash a newer version, the gapps will update automatically via Play Store.

Any Deodexed Oficial rom for LGOG 975

I have cm 10.1 instaled but i want to stick to stock for a wile , becouse some app dont work well on cm 10.1
Any oficial rom which we can flash via cwm recovery ?
Its one nice device but with few dev and users ...

What are you mean not work well in CM 10.1 ?
There is no Deodexed ROM yet what i know.

Nope,no custom roms based on lg framework yet.
About non working features,of course there are.
Q slide apps,smart screen and all the lg apps.they are closed,it's lg's cherry.

And why do you need deodexed?odexed roms are faster than deodexed ones.devs preffer to deodex because it's easier for them to work on framework and make mods.
But with xposed framework you can make alot of customizations without deodexing.you can change per app dpi,work on framework etc.all you need is root and unlocked bootloader.
I never had issues with apps on cm,but it's also true i always restore them with titanium.
About titanium,what do you mean it looks like normal one?of course it looks the same,tb pro will unlock sone features,like batch backup/restore,amongst other things.

CloudyG3 is an excellent rom. Very fast and fluid

while searching for the cloudyg3 i found a post about the v20p.
someone said that the v20p is better than the cloudyG3.
what do you think?

Ive got a stock rooted 20P rom installed and it runs flawlessly, i think out of all the stock roms this is the most fluid and has the most free ram on average. Cloudys rom hasnt been updated since he used 20i as a base and theres been other stock releases since then, im not sure he will create a 20P based rom unless there is a demand for it and nothing has been stated on his rom thread.

My personal favourite is Paranoid Android 5.1. It's been quite stable so far and I'm definitely enjoying AOSP more than LG's stock ROM.

Probably not. But it's good to have some fresh installs now and then just to keep things clean and running smoothly.

This method is for LG G3 D855 only.
First you’ll have to downgrade to KitKat (I advise using the KDZ method): Here
Root your device: Here
Flash TWRP: Here
Download the necessary content: ROM / Gapps / SU
Then boot into recovery mode, do a factory reset, flash ROM --> Gapps --> SU. When thats done, boot your device up and you should be ready to go.

i think that it depens on very much things... for examply.. i jumped to G3 from SGS3 and in G3 I miss a few things from SGS3 (full log, call/sms feature from log, brightness settings - in G3 is very stupid, etc) but in stock rom there are many things which i miss for example in CM ROMs... qslide, slowmo, multiwindow, qickmemo, timed send of SMS.... it depends very on ROM and what do you want.... i saw th "best" phones and want to combine it in G3 and I am afraid it would be long journey for me

Almost all AOSP /CM based rom have bugs in current stage.
If you are looking for most stable rom, LG stock V20P rom is what you want.

all 6.0 ROM have rotation problem? or Only my phone?

Hi there, I've try many android 6.0 ROM on my LG F180 (Korean version Optimus G). Seems like everyone of them's rotation function is not working. If I flash back to 5.X rom or kitkat roms. Then it gets back to normal. Does anyone got the same problem? Does anyone know how to fix it? Or I did something stupid? Thanks!

Mine is working just fine with Nitrogen OS (E975)

Hi there!
I am having these issues ever since I flashed 5.1 unofficial CM12. The rotation and auto-brightness went broken. Here's what helped recently:
- did a backup of my ROM in TWRP
- plugged the phone to a PC and got all my data properly copied, including the TWRP backup (it turned out to be essential, but that's just my fault)
- downloaded original KK firmware for my phone edition, also downloaded LGFlashTool 2014
- went back to stock using instructions from XDA
- rooted again and got TWRP recovery up and running
- did a full wipe, yes, including internal storage (yet I don't know if you need this, I just went for it)
- flashed the ROM I chose (im my case it was the CM12 backup I had cause of gapps issues with 6.0)
Don't know why but the sensors worked perfectly for me at that moment. I have broken them again by flashing another custom ROM over the CM12 and today I am going to give it another go.
Also, while browsing XDA I came across various posts stating that when you downgrade to stock or actually even another ROM based on official KK and only then flash the custom ROM it should all work again. In my case it seems like a coincidence, or the internal storage wipe worked miracles.

I did try on XenonHD 6.0 rom, but the rotation still doesn't work. All others Kit Kat or Lollipop ROM are fine for me. BTW, Are U having F180? or E975?

I've got the E975.
Did you do a full wipe?(dalvik cache , etc..)
I think you did , because you tried everything , but maybe not

I've got a massive battery drain issue with 6.0 Xenon HD. (50-70% overnight)
I've installed all the same apps as on my previous rom.(1-2% overnight)
Anyone else?

how about the camera? do you are able to do photosphere or panorama pictures with google camera app??
