i used to running stock rom last time but i found that my phone lags most of time especially when i scrolled down the status bar.
so i flashed cm10.
im hoping that somebody in xda dev can port "enable call recording" to cm10 just like Miui

if you want what you want, make it your self, or settle with the stock rom,
i prefer the stock rom because of its ram management, besides the status bar lag, but thats only because of how stuff is rendered

Auto call recording function on Desire Z - which ROM ?

Hello, sorry of this topic, but you can help me a lot. Be sure, usualy I'm reading forums, using search function, but this time I need your help. I bought this phone (Desire Z, first Android phone for me) few days before, and it is hard to find the newest ROM for this phone with auto call recording capability (may be integrated function or other program). Audio must be from both sides and taken from hardware, not from microphone (this worked perfectly on my broken Touch HD with Auto Call Recorder program). So, can anyone suggest me which ROM to choose ? Must I look for Jealy Beans ROM's, or for some Virtuous ROM's(maybe it's the only choose with auto call recording capability) ? Thanks a lot for your help !
I was using CallRecorder from skvalex on Andromadus Mimicry. Unfortunately does not support JB.
I just noticed CallRecorder by skvalex is not working JB, as you pointed out. It was the best one!
Is there any other one that does work on JB ?!
Don't know. Didn't look for one yet.
You read the forums alot but you don't know that this is supposed to be asked in the Q and A section?

And on ICS this function is not supported, right ? It's sad, because I think this is the must have on my phone. Ok, will try MIUI Thanks !

we can flash with suitable kernel
Ok, now I see, that update Android phone ROM is not that simple like WM was (in WM you just need to find suitable ROM for your device and update using ROM update utility). Sorry for this, but can you tell me (post a link) which ROM with auto call recording function I must try to instal ? Please understand- I have two little childs now, and have no time to spend to try many ROM's, just need suggestion how to make my Desire Z auto record calls in simplyest way. Thanks !
Callrecorder from Skvalex did work perfectly on the ICS roms. Altough people say it doesn't work on JB, I haven't tested it yet.

But now I see, that these new adapted ROM's are not perfect (camcorder, browser, speed issues, etc). I prefer fully working ROM. Must I look for a old MIUI rom ? But which one ? Can someone post a link to ROM, that realy works with auto call recorder ? Thanks again.

Will Callrecorder from Skvalex work with this rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1349864
I'm jus looking for a good one ROM with acr capability.
Done !
So, I finaly have fully working phone (with few ICS issues). I decided to instal very popular Mimistry 1.5.0 ROM (before formatted all with 4ext). This ROM is fantastic ! And finaly I bought CallRecorder by skvalex- now call recording works just fine ! Thanks for all for your replays !

? About AOKP milestone6

My question is do I have to install audio fix in rc 4 rom? Op says its for rc 3 but does not mention if its needed for rc 4 build. I'm using kernel that came in zip and no real issues so far. Just curious if anyone running this ROM would know.

Didn't feel the need to start new thread but it's kind of appropriately titled. Has anyone running AOKP had an issue with cam not recording. I can take pics & watch vids on youtube. I've tried flashing rom all over.

Been using it for months no problems. Ur problem is probably that ur recording settings are set at 720p, seen as the kernel is an old one 720p wont work. For a 720p kernel use either my one or fxp or mjolnir. Alternatively just go into camera recorder then settings and set it to 480p settings. I have a 480p recording kernel as well ad u loose 18mb ram with 720 recording.

Lol. I feel like such a clutz. Never even thought to look at the vid settings.
Sorry to keep bugging but wedgess would your ics kernel v9 work on CDMA. Looked on op but doesn't say if it does or not.

[Q] How to make the livekey work?

Hey Guys,
I recently bought new sony livesound headphones for my xperia pro mk16i and the headphones have got a "livekey" which should be capable of starting apps and other stuff. However it doesn't work at all. No options when I click and/or hold the livekey. Otherwise the volume keys and the middle key for pausing and playing music do work.
In case it's important: I am using the Ultimate HD 2.0.3 ROM by jader and the arcknight kernel for xperia pro.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Probably ROM or kernel have no such support for the key.

Thanks, but how do I figure out which one is the problem? I already asked this question in the Q&A thread for the ROM I use, but nobody answered.
I would really appreciate any help in finding the cause of the livekey issue!

It's the Rom's problem. The app needed for livekey to work is removed as bloatware.

If you're on an AOSP rom, it will probably never work. You'll need a stock rom. It's like the galaxy s3's ability to call whoever is on your screen by holding your phone to your face. It's a feature of the stock rom.
Sent from a galaxy far far away.
stock based enough?

JB Transitions on ICS?

I was wondering if someone has ever succesfully make a mod to have Jelly Bean transitions on our Xperia Play?
I tried this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=35235074 It works, but of course since it's for Neo, it mess up my lockscreen and completly disable Auto Brightness in Display menu.

So , no way? Only for Xperia Neo? No even Arc or Ray (way more famous xperias) has this kind of mod?....

Look this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=wa9TIqK0JBg
In minute 0:04, when he press the About Phone, look how swtich in the next menu. That.
End even the pop-up menu are missing (for example, "No-Frills CPU Has benn granted..." when startin system. It should be like in video in minute 0:04.
Instead, all of this are working with the mod for Neo.
EDIT: ...wait. Maybe besides the animation between apps, the "other animation" like in minute 0:04, are not real JB animation? I havent use jb devices for long...

As far as i know, Xposed is the only way for it. Or if you are okay, yiu can just switch roms. I recommend DarkCM 4.4.4 since it has the option to disable fullscreen keyboard.
