You bought a 2012 version.

Not necessarily, depending from the benchmarks they haven't updated yet to recognize the new nexus 7 so it will still look like of it got the tegra 3 chipset.
If your Nexus 7 have a flat back then you have the 2013 model. If it's dimpled, then you have the 2012 one.

No he didn't. A lot of benchmark apps still think this is the old model. It's kinda of amusing to see my scores then, it thinks I'm super powered.

You didn't hit anything at all, this topic is pretty much dead, considering the OP didn't show up, he could have got a old version, won't be the first customer that gets scammed by a inept tech guy.
Dude I have the 2013 version. I'm geek guy. I run another benchmark and read de snapdragon procesor.
3d mark still recognizes is just as nexus 7, not 2 versions, it probably is getting the specs from an online source rather than your tablet itself.
Run cpu-z and it should come up right

This is too cool.:good:
Hmm does this make gameplay go slower?
I get a little hiccup when game first starts but after that it runs just like before but I'm using Trinity kernel with 537 GPU

On Tegra 3 CPUs it is also lagging a bit in the beginning. By the way, the higher gpu clock doesn't have any positive effect.

I can't get this to work. It resets to low every time. I'm on jellybean stock rooted.

Very cool! The shotgun is so much more satisfying when it sends em flying backwards And to think I was excited when I noticed I could change from low to high...

Its not as if it's actually functional on the HD2. The dev behind it has indicated that he's not planning on working it for any other devices, as he'd rather see just the one halfway functional port rather than dozens of nonfunctional ones.

Because it sucks? It's just a tablet UI that looks like Windows 8 without the usefulness.
In games better than Xperia Z/ZL or Nexus 4 or inferior peformance? I have a doubt for whom bought this mobiles too...
According to some benchmarks i found in google they are pretty much the same. Just google "android benchmark".
Between the Nexus 4 and the Galaxy Note 2 I could say that the Nexus 4 is slightly better than the Note 2

For gaming, Nexus 4 might have a small edge, but with an over all phone AND gaming, Note 2.
Unbiased.

How so? Isn't the Nexus 4 Cortex A15-based while the Note 2 is Cortex A9 only?

I found a Asus 7" tablet 32 Gb's for $160 new is that a good price. It's a dual core 1.2 Ghz.Is this the 2012 version. Thanks

No, they're not the same thing. Nexus devices are devices marketed by Google, originally as developer devices, but now just as pure Google Experience devices. They can and have been made by a wide variety of hardware manufacturers, including Asus, Samsung, LG, and HTC.
I believe that is the 2012 version. Not a bad price for new.

The 2012 version came with a quadcore nvidia tegra 3 chip so I think the one you're talking about is probably the memo pad.
