Galaxy Note 2 Performance? - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

In games better than Xperia Z/ZL or Nexus 4 or inferior peformance? I have a doubt for whom bought this mobiles too...

According to some benchmarks i found in google they are pretty much the same. Just google "android benchmark".

Between the Nexus 4 and the Galaxy Note 2 I could say that the Nexus 4 is slightly better than the Note 2

For gaming, Nexus 4 might have a small edge, but with an over all phone AND gaming, Note 2.
Unbiased.

How so? Isn't the Nexus 4 Cortex A15-based while the Note 2 is Cortex A9 only?

Interchangeable Clock GPU (Inside)

Maybe that's not exactly the right title.. but can someone point me to a program to change the GPU speed and which kernels allow this? I have seen this on cm9/10.

There was a thread here on XDA a couple of weeks back where someone benchmarked performance at each GPU clock speed- stock was best.
Just passing along info.

Its only for emulators. They do run fine but at 512* it runs nearly 60fps constantly.

Huh.. interesting. So it'll switch over GPU speeds depending on my activity if needed?

Galaxy Note 2 Or Note 2 LTE??

I really like note 2 grey one but I'm considering getting LTE version.
Is there any difference between the 2 versions other then speed.
Are there any hardware differences screen quality, or software etc?
Tried search but no real comparison between the two.
Any info would be appreciated.
The LTE one has DC-HSPA+42 as well as LTE.

Well there will be more support for the note 2 international compared to the LTE version.

That's true but I'm more interested in the product itself rather then development.

If that's the case and you absolutely must have the speed and don't care about the money you'll save because of the sale then get the LTE version.

Noticed it on my phone too. Maybe because the two CPU share the same product code.

Maybe because you've overclocked.
After all snapdragon 600 is just an oc'd s4 pro with minor modifications.

I haven't over clocked mine at all. I actually under clocked to 1.1ghz, and I still get the same results, probably a issue with cpu-z

You bought a 2012 version.

Not necessarily, depending from the benchmarks they haven't updated yet to recognize the new nexus 7 so it will still look like of it got the tegra 3 chipset.
If your Nexus 7 have a flat back then you have the 2013 model. If it's dimpled, then you have the 2012 one.

No he didn't. A lot of benchmark apps still think this is the old model. It's kinda of amusing to see my scores then, it thinks I'm super powered.

You didn't hit anything at all, this topic is pretty much dead, considering the OP didn't show up, he could have got a old version, won't be the first customer that gets scammed by a inept tech guy.
Dude I have the 2013 version. I'm geek guy. I run another benchmark and read de snapdragon procesor.
3d mark still recognizes is just as nexus 7, not 2 versions, it probably is getting the specs from an online source rather than your tablet itself.
Run cpu-z and it should come up right
