Its not as if it's actually functional on the HD2. The dev behind it has indicated that he's not planning on working it for any other devices, as he'd rather see just the one halfway functional port rather than dozens of nonfunctional ones.

Because it sucks? It's just a tablet UI that looks like Windows 8 without the usefulness.

developers and anyone listening. Do you think it will be possible to port the picture in picture function in the new SGSIII to the nexus?

Anything is possibly but more than likely won't happen. Buy a GS3.

I believe the same guy who pulled Flipboard apk said he'd pull s-voice and others off when he can. Then we'll see if it works. It probably won't though, but you never can tell.

I am really not understanding the logic behind this statement. There are already dev's committed to putting the GS3 stock ROM on the Gnex.

doubt it, it would be easier to sell your gs2 and buy a wp7 device.

No I don't want a pure windows phone...I just want to be able to try it out for a while and then switch back to ICS. But why wouldn't it be possible?

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't mean just the launcher. I wanted like the entire ROM with the messaging app and phone app and all the other apps with the market. Guess that's too much to ask for huh? Lol

Not impossible, but extremely improbable. It would need to be completely reverse engineered. It's a closed system that would basically need to be entirely rewritten. WP7/7.5 was not written to support multi core phones or SD cards. Hence why WP8 is such a huge release, as it brings these capabilities on board.

No they are different phones. I guess "similar" is a little to general and vague to answer.

like can u port from Nexus S?
what phone is similar to the nexus that is portable? Jw.
thanks
Port to the GNex? That seems a little backwards, my old phone had a bunch of ports, but nexus has lots of excellent devs doing great work, no porting necessary on a nexus device.

Thanks, but that is not really what I mean. Take a look at this video:

Haha for the first 30 seconds of the video it kinda looks like how iPhone does it. I was playing with a friends 4s and that bottom bar with the recent apps on it looks pretty much the same.
Now having 2 different apps open & on the screen at the exact same time.....wow. That's awesome and I hope we can get it too!
It is sad that Cornerstone did not take off. I loved it on my HP Touchpad. Being able to run three apps at the same time was just so awesome.

No. Buy a Note II.
Can't be ported. Requires TouchWiz framework and probably better hardware.

Only thing I've seen that's a blanket and haven't seen anyone specifically working on it for our variant (I haven't look in the i'ntl threads) is this:

Check and see if there is a exynos build since that is an arm build tut..
