Unified Toolkit problem - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

Here is the problem I am having with the Toolkit.
I have the T-Mobile version but I do not see the correct option in the toolkit for my model.
I have Android 4.1.2 and build number JZO54K. Neither build number for T-Mobile matches mine. Also, both T-Mobile versions in the Toolkit say they are for version number 4.1.1
I did do a warranty exchange about 3 months ago with T-Mobile. Is it possible they sent me a international version instead?

Bell galaxy nexus vs international version

Other than the Yakju issue, is there any difference between the two? I am interested in knowing the hardware difference like the quality of the SAMOLED screen, radio reception, etc And it is possible to flash the Bell one to Yakju just like the other Nexus, correct?
No difference at all and yes the bell version can be flashed to yakju (i did it)

Thank you! So there are no known problems specifically found in the Bell version? I'm still debating whether I should switch to Bell. Are there any rumors that Rogers and Telus will release a better version in January? 32GB internal storage for example?
hmmm there is a diffrent yakju is google the other ones are samsung

Does "baseband" mean "radio"? if so, can you please specify which version of radio you actually using?
Thanks a lot!

Confused with Jelly Belly (GSM)

so as far as I know now, Jelly Belly was build for the GSM Nexus.
then people started to port it over to the VZW Nexus
now VZW Nexus has Version 5.x.x and the GSM Nexus has Version 3
can someone tell me if there's a newer version for the GSM Nexus? oO?
I think both is 4.1.1

V3 is newest gsm version. Higher number doesn't always mean newer or better.

Difference of Korean and International version??

Hello all,
I know its a busy time for GNex forum but here i am an upcoming new member who cant wait to join with this...
I am buying a new GNex and i think its the Korean version which comes with an extra battery and a back cover...I just want to know whats the difference between this Korean version and International version?
Also, it has any difference in the firmware and updating of it?? Like updates come later and such
Any help would be really appreciated

As far as i know there are only 3 variants, i9250 (maguro) verizon lte (toro) sprint lte (toroplus) so if its a 3g gnex you're safe.
All Google images should be compatible if it's i9250

Sch are carrier locked and if anything you'd know it's sch if it has dual Sim, or some TV app on it. If I were you ask them to send a screenshot of the settings->About Phone and look at the model number.

Korean versions are 100% maguro, so you can just unlock the bootloader and do whatever you do. Its hardware is the same as international version

Model Number doesn't tell you anything but Galaxy Nexus
The Korean gnex, whether its from sk telecom or from kt, has exactly the same hardware as i9250.
The only difference is that It comes with yakjukr instead of yakju.
I am using shw-m420s (sk telecom variant) with yakju factory image flashed to get earlier ota updates, and it works flawlessly as expected.

LTE or WiFi?

I have just bought Nexus 7 (2013) wifi. How do I check which model it is?
In build.prop it says:
ro.product.model=Nexus 7
ro.product.brand=google
ro.product.name=razorg
ro.product.device=deb
ro.product.board=deb
From what I read on other websites it should be LTE however the device itself looks like wifi-only version....
Any suggestions?

Hi,
deb/razorg is the LTE Version, and flo/razor is the wifi only version.
You can see if it's an LTE version by the presence of the SIM-Tray and if the bootloader shows
Code:
PRODUCT NAME - deb
VARIANT - deb 32G
(....)
BASEBAND VERSION - DEB-GOO_2.xxx (replace by baseband version)
And remember that : The LTE version exist only in 32 gb flavor.
If it's an Wifi only version, you probably flashed an ROM for the deb version
I hope it helped you
Thanks! It's a brand new device. So it looks like I got WiFi model with lte firmware

Your system is saying deb and the bootloader is saying flo right ?
If it's causing problems, flash stock flo/razor which can be found here : https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images?hl=FR#razor
I have the same issue. Have you restored to the proper firmware? Can you do that with locked bootloader?

How much did you pay for it? $269 or $349 (play store prices).

I think it's possible even with the bootloader locked.
You need to have your bootoader unlocked to install unsigned customs rom.
flo and deb original restore files are both signed.
But i never tested to flash stock flo on my deb, so i can't be sure.
It's just suppositions.
Thanks! You give me hope! I will update as soon as I try!
I tried. There is no way to fastboot factory image with locked bootloader.
