Indeed, I noticed a similar issue. Sometimes it stops buffering for some reason. However other applications are working fine.
I'm on Youtube version 5.0.21.

Wifi internet slow on apps

Hi everybody!
I have my note 2 over a month (really nice device), and now just joined this community
From the beginning I am facing this annoying issue. Wifi internet seems super slow on every apps I am using (FB, youtube, gmail, etc.) Sometimes even shows "connection timeout" error. BUT not on chrome or firefox browsers, they're working just fine. I've checked wifi speeds (home and office) with speedcheck.net app: 15-50mbps, that's not bad.
So, where could be a problem? Tried to uninstall some apps, use wifi fixers app, but none of this seems to work. And of course, searched all over the web for a solution.
Device not rooted, v.4.1.1.
Thanks in advance!

[Q] Nexus doesn't load videos from Youtube

Hi, I have a Galaxy Nexus i9250 and I have a problem to watch videos from Youtube (app or any browser). When I click to play the video, the loading icon appears and take a long time, so appears a message saying that the application must be stopped.
I tested with my older phone, a Galaxy i5800, side by side with the Nexus i9250 and near to my wireless router. On the i5800 the video plays quickly without problems.
In other apps or other websites, the connection to internet is absolutely normal. Somebody can help me with this question? I don't know what can I do to solve this.
Thanks.
Are you using a custom rom? Have you tried reinstalling gapps?

I'm using the original Android version, 4.1.1 (updated).
I can't reinstall it because it's a native app, but I undo the updates and re-updated the Youtube app, but the problem continues. Would I do some factory reset? How I did this?
I recorded a video showing what happening: youtube . com/ watch?v=wZrduL_Sw00
Try wiping the cache from Google play services and the YouTube app.

[Q] HD video streaming issue

Every time I try to watch an HD video in YouTube, or on the web, it buffers every few seconds, even though my internet connection is fine. I'm able to watch the same videos on my HTC Desire S, without it even buffering.
I've tried it on b122, B119, and the latest b118 (cn). All of them do the same thing, and it's extremely annoying!
Am I the only one with this problem, and how can I fix it?

Both on Wifi and 3g ? For wifi I'd suggest changing the channel. Try a Wifi Scanner for any other networks overlapping with yours.
I haven't tried it on 3G yet, as data is a bit expensive, but like I said, it works perfectly on my Desire S.

I find the nexus 7 streams movies better. The P6 seems to stop and buffer. Is there a setting in MX player to change the buffer sizes? As the P6 downloads files on same the network ok?

Does any one know how to make streaming movies better in MX player or any other player better on this device?

I have problems playing videos on my phone. On YouTube and MX. The MX problems are even with videos stored on my internal SD. I'm using CleanROM btw.
The MX videos hang up for 2 second every time I try to pause or do anything. To solve it I just decode them using software instead of hardware. You can go to options and enable HW+ which uses less battery than SW decoding.
The thing is that YouTube doesn't have this options and the interface freezes for everything.

[Q] Streaming Online MP3 sources.

Can anyone stream mp3 from online sources, Example tfnn.mobi source http://66.135.49.104/stdin.mp3
Odd that it doesn't work in any browser, chrome of stock, not even VLC or Google Play. I have Tmobile and other tmobile phone and it works just fine.
Let me know anyone.
Just tried it with dolphin browser. Played OK through stock music app.
