Does anyone know how it could use this much data? I hardly ever go over 500MB never mind it getting this far. What could it be doing and how can I stop it?

CM bug, update to latest nightly, this should be solved; Check with your carrier on how your data consumption is doing.
If there's no issue, you have nothing to worry about.

it looks retarded for me to have 2 indicators and hit the wrong one everytime.
i tried to look online and couldnt find it.
It doesn't update under CM. I have a flashable version of 5.1.0.48 that I use after every nightly CM update. Let me know how to send it to you.

By the way if you never got it to work with CM 7 then you have to do a few other steps.
Basically you have to go back to a version of CM where it did work. Install titanium backup. Then use titanium backup to backup the data for VVM.
then install the new version of CM, flash the file I sent you and then use titanium backup to restore the data backup of VVM.
That was how I got it work from a thread on cyanogenmod forum.

How stable is 1.12.9?
-Are there issues with sending/reciving calls?
-Are there issues with sending/reviving texts?
-Will it get slow and buggy a week after use?
-Are there camera issues?
-Are there FC issues?
And let me know if there are any other major issues

Overall, it was a very stable ROM while I used it. There were a few issues that I noticed but there was never anything that stopped it from being a daily driver.

There was a problem with 1.12.30 I think that caused the phone app to crash while receiving calls, but I don't believe that was present in 1.12.9.

Like I said, I believe 1.12.9 was fine but 1.12.30 introduced some issues. Someone who's used the ROM more recently than me might have some other points but I loved MIUI GB, and finally moved onto MIUI ICS when the camera and other bugs were patched up.

Multi-touch issues and low in call volume. I'm actually running it now. When you first use the camera you need to go to camera settings and change the camera resolution. For both cameras, the images will show up with green junk if you don't. When viewing flash videos in the browser you will only get audio. This is fixed by going through some steps in system/data/app... and deleting something but I don't recall what it was. Its mentioned somewhere in the MIUI thread if you feel like searching.
I can't think of anything else.

I am not sure, but I know now that the GPS is not working. You have to lock with a different rom, then flash cm10 to get it to work. So I guess these things need to be fixed before it goes official
lol openvpn might be included when it becomes official.. cm9 never made it and cm10 is a ways awY and def wont have it until after we have jb source for our phones if ever

Thanks for the replies. Yeah, just ran into the GPS bug again...... :crying:
I'd run a stock ROM but I want to be able to set the permissions for each app. CM10 for our phones doesn't have this ability but you can run pdroid 2.0. Unless I'm misunderstanding CM10 is the only ROM pdroid 2.0 will work on.

I was able to get a GPS lock in CM10 by simply deleting the file gps.conf in the folder /system/etc/ . I rebooted after deleting the file and was able to get a lock with about 15 meter accuracy within 30 seconds.
I'm running CM 10.1 stable experimental version with Cerux kernel (v1.46) and T989UVMC6 radio. I've noticed that whenever I use Google Now to look up something, it is super slow or won't even search at all. However, if I try searching on my browser it goes through with no problem so it must not be a data connection either (same thing happens on WiFi). I'd appreciate if anyone could help me with this problem.
Thanks for reading!

I flashed this to my Virgin Mobile phone to get root and be on MD4, http://rwilco12.com/downloads.php?d...H-L710)/Stock ROMs/JB/MD4/Full Restore/Rooted
I wasn't able to use a custom recovery until this was released yesterday, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2391616
The other recoveries would flash just fine (I could install them but they couldn't read any storage) but they wouldn't mount anything. This recovery works perfectly.
I tried all the stable versions up until 10.1.0, some other guy with my same issue tried 10.0 and no dice.
