It doesn't update under CM. I have a flashable version of 5.1.0.48 that I use after every nightly CM update. Let me know how to send it to you.

By the way if you never got it to work with CM 7 then you have to do a few other steps.
Basically you have to go back to a version of CM where it did work. Install titanium backup. Then use titanium backup to backup the data for VVM.
then install the new version of CM, flash the file I sent you and then use titanium backup to restore the data backup of VVM.
That was how I got it work from a thread on cyanogenmod forum.

Not sure what it could be. Ran RC2 stock and RC2 Godmode and never had a problem with wife sending me pics. Have you checked to see if you have a certain size limit set on text messages?

Best I can recommend is to submit a bug report Here. Also RLS1 of Synergy should be available later today or tomorrow according to Myn, so if its an issue then it may have been resolved in the impending release.
*Edit* Also check spare parts in the app menu, make sure compatibility mode is unchecked and that its not set to aggressive. Reboot and give that a shot as well.

Radios are rom independent, lots of people were downgrading their PRI to 1.77 for 3.0 roms for example. They can have a big impact. You should also update the prl and profile after flashing a new rom or radios.

I didn't have this issue with Myn Warm 2.2 as of last week. I might have to go back to it. But I REALLY like synergy
from leaked build FC07 for E4GT, works and activates on first load hope people enjoy it, Press Thanks if it works for you.

its same app but a different version, as the version that is available on the Epic is not compatible with ICS

You don't. You can use a third party text app and block it from view, but I find widgets like APW pull from the stock message app so they are still shown on the widget. You can also either wait and see if the cm team integrates a work around to hide them or use GV. I just use GV.

Unfortunately it sounds like it still streaks on CM9. It's something specific to CM9 that it causing it as it does not occur on CM7.

Restoring a bad default still leaves you with a bad default.
See the below link on how to fix it. Use MNC of 012 instead of what the guide says.

No I restored the one that the person who flashed my phone originally used, but it still didn't work.
And I noticed in the link that you sent me, it says Verizon, will that still work on my flashed Dinc on MetroPCS?

As I said, restoring a bad default is still bad. I missed that MetroPCS was a carrier, the verizon APN will not work for that and you'll have to find their APN.
So even know the old xml file use to work It's a bad default now? By the way, I've googled and have downloaded apns from places but mms still will not work.

If it used to work then something broke it, which could be a handful of things, from a rom update to something else. The easiest way is to still make sure your APNs are correct. If you think it's the stock messaging app, try a 3rd party.

It's a known problem. I had it on CM7 and CM9, but Albinoman's JB ROM seems to send them just fine.

I reverted to stock after trying a few versions of CM9 and never being able to get MMS to work. Was leery of trying any add'l ROMs 'cause I didn't want to lose MMS (or other core functionality). After the glowing reviews for Albinoman's JB ROM, I took the plunge and have been very happy. MMS are no problem. (There are a couple of other things not working, but generally 3rd party apps will work around those issues. Only prob I haven't seen a solution for is Netflix doesn't work...but I don't think there's any JB ROM for the Inc that has Netflix working.)
Has anyone here seen or have a flashable mms apk that has quick reply like in cm10 for stock 4.1.1 toroplus? I've been searching and searching but I cant find one and I dont know how to make it(but would be willing to try with some help). Any help is appreciated.

Don't know if this will help but I downloaded Apps2zip from the market and just used it to create a zip of the messaging apk. Now when I flags a ROM I just add the zip to the queue.
(Assuming the ROM doesn't have the one I use which is the stock with customization)

Correct, you are on an ICS modem. ICS modems are not compatible with jellybean touchwiz ROMs

Also one more problem I have is I have a persistent voice-mail icon but when I call my voice-mail it says u have none I tried to call myself from another phone to leave a voice-mail and it gives some error should I make a new thread for this question or do you think you can help?

Unfortunately, I have never encountered any problems with voicemail.
There's probably a solution to that somewhere around here. Do some research, if you can't find anything then make a new thread for it.

To get rid of the icon, go into app manager and clear your voicemail cache. If you're not getting voicemails at all, from anyone, delete the app and reinstall it. You can get the .apk from pretty much any stock or custom rom, including Project X Good luck

You should, yes. Go into your app manager and see if there's a "voicemail" apk, might look a bit like a tape cassette.

need a little more info to help out. What network is unknown? Data? WiFi? Did you do a clean install? Are you on the correct modem?

you should PM the maker of the ROM. His name is Bilgerryan. i looked through Erikalin's app and only say the Voicemail widget.

Same thing I found but I found a voicemail apk on themes and apps here in the e4gt forum thank you so much that worked man I'll definitely give you a thanks
