Some bug when I plug cable into USB of the PC - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II

There is something strange is going on with my Galaxy Note 2 T-mobile lately, when I plug it in computer my phone gets stuck and I have to disconnect the battery to restart it... I mean no button works whatsoever
I'm using:
[ROM] |ROM||AROMA|| Jedi Master 16 || PIE || Per App DPI ||4.1.2|
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1958230
I haven't had problem like this before... can somebody that uses the same ROM verify that the problem is not only me... I just wanna mention that sometimes this is not happening but sometimes it does which is weird...

It is well documented in the thread that you have to update the kernel or plugging in usb locks up the phone. The fix has been posted several times. Look through the thread for the updated kernel download link and flash through twrp / cwm.

I use the alarm clock every day. No issues. Did you check the md5 of your download to make sure it matched? Bad downloads give all kinds of weird issues.
Also, I use alarm clock plus ( free ). It has a lot of nice features.

If you are using the stock non touch recovery you go into mounts and storage and then go down and choose mount usb

Since the RC is a continuation of the nightlies, I say stick to one thread. There's already duplicate questions on each thread and it becomes way to hard to follow 2 threads.
Just my input.

I get stuck everytime unless I use the Darkside Cache Wipe. After running that, RC2 loaded like a dream. Still searching for Wifi Calling though.
*edit* I flashed RC2 from the last nightly. But everytime I would use CWM to flash the latest nightly, I would have weird errors, (stuck on boot screen, CWM wouldn't start the install process, etc.) I kept a copy of DARKSIDE CACHE WIPE and decided to try to run that prior to install. Flashed RC2, booted no problem.

It is recommended that you do a full wipe before updating between nightlies, as generally significant amount of bugs are fixed and new codes implemented, so there are alot of changes. Not doing a wipe can interfere with these changes. If you don't want to re-install all the apps again after every rom flash, try 'app2zip' from the market.
Here's the link for that app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=scd.app2zip&hl=en
It will let you pack all the apps you currently have and want into a CWM flashable zip, which you can flash right after you wipe and install a new rom to get back all your apps.

There's no porting required. Just get the firmware/stock ROM of the galaxy s2 and dig into the /system/media/audio/ui folder on your computer and there you will find all the click sounds, as well as unlock sounds. Just copy the ones you want from your computer into the sd card of your phone and then go into the same directory in your phone (the /audio/ui folder) and replace the click noises with the ones you copied over, making sure that the name of the files is the exact same as the ones you are replacing. Also make sure that the file permissions are the same as the other files in that folder. Done!
Hope that helps guys.
Cheers.
I am currently running RC2 with TDJs Venom 4 CM9 #3 Kernel. Using the badass governor to conserve battery. Usually this governor is fantastic and is amazing with performance and saving battery.
For some reason today, this ROM/Kernel/Governor combo is draining battery a lot faster than normal and I am not sure why.
2 hours ago my phone was at 100% battery. It's now down to 91%, almost a 5% drop per hour. Typically I would get 8 to 10% battery drop in 5 hours time running the badass governor. I haven't used my phone more today than I normally would, so battery shouldn't be dropping as quickly.
CPU Spy confirms my phone is going into deep sleep and has been in deep sleep for 85% of the time. That is good and that is what I want it to do. Then GSam Battery showed that a particular app was keeping the phone awake for 29mins. I froze that particular app 30mins ago and in the 30mins since I froze the app the battery still drained 2%.
Anyone else running the same setup as me and notice faster than normal battery drain?
I dont know if this has been talked about before. For the person on the other side to hear me good I have to speak louder than usual. What i mean is, that before, i was able to whisper when i was on the phone since i work in an office, but now after the last few nightlies, i have to talk louder into the mic for people to hear me good. I was running some tests myself and i find that the pickup on the mic is very low when using the phone as normal, but the pickup is fine when using the speaker phone (Im able to whisper and the mic will pick it up). I just wanted to know if this is the remains of the underwater effect that we once had?

cant power on with charger plugged in

I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this or hard about it happening and can tell me why it's doing it and/or how to fix this issue. basically when my phone is turned off and charging if i try to power it on ill feel a quick vibrate and then instead of turning on it just displays the battery charging icon again. it will do that every time until i physically unplug the charger from the phone and then when i press the power button it starts turning on as it normally should.after that i can either plug the charger back in and let it continue to charge or i can just leave it unplugged. if anyone has any info on this irritating issue it would be a great help . thanks

Are you using a custom rom? I think this was an issue with one of em (freegs3 maybe) and the dev hadn't been able to fix it yet. Its been a bit though so I could be wrong on that one.
If you are on a custom rom, search that thread or ask there as well and youll prob get a quicker/better response.

Yup. FreeGS3. I saw a few people mention this a while back. Dev knows about it and said he will look into it. Haven't seen much about this since but I could have easily overlooked it. Search through that thread for any other info.

This is known issue and these are known solution for them. Unless you actually force to bend it, you'll probably won't break it. And I think you could spend some bucks to buy a alcohol to fix a problem with 350 dollar phone

Go to the directory where SDK is installed and go to the extra folder.. google. .USB. .or however its setup until you see the setup.inf file in the USB folder. Double click it. Scroll thru it and you should see the driver setup for the nexus one, ns4g, gnex, nexus 7. If you don't see the gnex I can help. I only ask this because I had an issue and the gnex wasn't in the file.
And if going to use alcohol you have to use the 99% isopopyl

Confused

First off I'm a noob, was able to flash miui 4.1.2 with twrp but every time I flash another rom 4.2 and higher the rom works but the battery stops charging about 5sec after I put it to charge, used different cables but no dice. It may just be that the icon isn't switching to charging, even though the device technically is? I don't feel like this is likely, but it may be worth investigating. I've also heard that TWRP versions before 2.6.1 have issues with 4.2 (or was it 4.3?)
Have you tried waiting for 10 minutes after your first boot, without touching anything, and then rebooting? I don't know if you're flashing a kernel or not, but if so that could help.
It says battery disconnected , sorry for not being specific. Thanks for taking the time to help me and the advice on the time period helped with 2 other roms

What version of twrp are you using? What are your steps when you flash?
2.6.1.0 followed each instruction to the letter. Now the roms worked its the battery disconnected warning that has me confused.

Phone died - Very peculiar case

So last night I went to check my phone and it was off so I figured it had gone off on its own but upon trying to turn it on again I found that nothing was working. I plugged it in and got no response. Took out the battery, tried to boot to download mode, or reboot and have tried just about everything to be found online. I left it plugged in all night and nothing. I called samsung and their suggestion was to hold the power button pressed down for a few seconds so after that extremely well thought out suggestion didn't work they said that I'll have to take it in on monday as their service places here are closed during the weekends.
my problem is that I haven't backed up my info and I can't afford to lose it and they said that they will wipe it once they get their hands on it. I don't have a second battery to test but I just plugged it into my computer and it was recognized as a USB device. Nothing more, not what it is and doesn't show up anywhere and nothing has happened on the phone but at least it was recognized.
This is the most messed up issue I have every encountered and it happened entirely on its own. Im all stock and am running purely simple apps like viber and whatsapp and seriesguide and family guy. Its the most mild mannered phone and has the most messed up issue. Its like someone sucked the electricity from it. Please give me some ideas
