Hi All,
I'm about to release version 7 of the ROM; however, are there any other modifications people want on the ROM. Mods they saw in other posts that I can possibly implement?
Thanks,
I'm not sure if it has already been added, but I really want Google Now added. That is the biggest thing about JB that I miss
A themed rom would be sweet! It would definitely stand out. ICS dialer would be a great start. Also an optional zip to flash inverted apps.

Yea. Anything that like looks/feels like aosp would be awesome. Loving the feel of the aroma installer already.

Extended power menu to reboot straight to recovery.

Could you include the on screen keys mod that's in the general section? and maybe the black theme for the quick settings? I like them and don't wanna re flash each time there's a new version

i would love to see soft keys and google now
Nocturnal audio mod would be cool

All of the above will be awesome ! I would like to see in a little bit more theming to be done specially on the setting page, the dialer and the messaging app. Keep up the good work thank you

How about the app flash blink.
Its not on the market and forgot where the link is at.
It should be here in xda developers.

blink-flash would not work with my OG
I would like to see a inverted Gmail and Playstore option.
More AOSP-ness. Possibly a trebuchet launcher port?
A direct to recovery option is a must!
I'm having such a difficult time getting to the fast boot menu, and every time I restart I loose 10% battery! Not joking!

Goo manager will boot you into recovery if you want in the meantime.
A boot in recovery option as others have said would be nice im currently using a reboot recovery widget from ROM toolbox pro but it would still be nice.
Also adding the conversation skin mod to aroma would be a good edition

Wow, a rather large plate.
I'll see what I can do with the suggestions.
I am not using your rom, but I would in a heartbeat if it had Google Now (latest update)

the latest update doesnt work on our device yet, but I believe it was the version before that another dev got working on our devices.

The one from xsmagical was the only one that I got to work just slightly on my device its cool and all but I could definitely live without it until we get a working one. I personally don't see all the hype about Google now and would much rather see some themeing going on. Just my $0.02

ROM
Had an issue with some LG apps not installing (v9), v10 fixed it however.
Aroma is amazing. It shows you spent your time doing it and doing it right at that. Im in love
Softkeys are a nice touch for phones with a zero bezel frame.
I would love to see some more customized bootloader animations.
Performance boosts and tweaks are awesome.
So far so good. flashed several times with little or no problems.
Overall Very impressed. Keep it coming!

I am using the app "Rom Manager" V 5.5.1.5
It allows you to boot right into recovery without any fiddling in fastboot.
Very cool app. Try it out and let me know if this helps your issue.
Put a new battery on my phone since I've been having charging problems (yes I've tried different cables this was last resort), battery was fully charged turned phone on and left it alone for half hour. I check the phone and it's gone down to 90% in that time.. I checked Gsam to see what was using up the battery and 70% was being used by "Media" im not downloading anything so I don't know why it's using up so much power...
I'm on Slim Rom Build 7 with K7 kernel if that's any help but I've been having battery problems/charging problems for awhile now no matter what Rom I use... stone have any ideas why it would be draining my battery like that?
Move your media files off your phone, then clear data on Media Storage and reboot. Wait a bit and watch for it to continue. If it stops acting up, copy your files back to your device.
This used to be a big issue last year with all our leaked firmware. Media scanner would hang up on something causing it.

Oh and if that doesn't solve it, you will need to post a lot more info for us to go much further. Including BBS and screenshots of the processes listed under Media.

K I'll try that first option and get back, hopefully that helps and I don't have to go thru extra steps lol thanks

Download rescan media root app from the play store and press disable media scanner charge your phone to 100% and you should be good to go

Which custom rom run the smoothest & doesnt eat up all the battery? Out of curiosity cos I tried them all I think & I cant tell >.< lool
Sent from my LG-E980 using XDA Premium HD app
Can't help you there buddy. Every phone is different and every user has their different tastes. Asking which is smoother is like asking which is better. I know you said you've tried them all but if you can't tell the difference then why is it a problem? As long as it isn't freezing up on you or stuttering I'd say they are all smooth. Want smoother? Play around with the CPU and Governer settings. Just dont set them too low. Good luck

Another great ROM for our beloved e980 is miui, granted its only 4.2.2, but in my experience both mini and cm11 have close to stock performance

OK so I flashed the PAC ROM for hlte then I noticed my screen would stay asleep after every phone call forcing me to press home to wake it up pull down my notification bar and hanging up through the notification now I recently changed to the latest snapshot from cyanogenmod and flashed the latest lean kernel hoping that oy would be fixed and nope still does the same thing. Just wondering if I can fix it or is it my phone that's busted?
Also my screens is cracked pretty bad don't know of that matters any replies would be nice! Thank you

Hello, I also had this issue 2 days ago. I was on HyperDrive Rom and I couldn't get my screen to turn on at all after a call. It happen when I downloaded a nightly of Cyanogenmod and had it fail. What I had to do was restore a week old back up and haven't had it return yet. Maybe CM related? I'm not sure but been fine since.

Well then I'm going to say ALWAYS MAKE A BACK UP!! then you can delete it if ur new Rom works good but u should always keep at least ONE. If you do have that one back up I would say yes, go do that or the better and easier option is to just start completely fresh with a full wipe and new Rom. Hope this helps. Btw I have not had that problem since I used a week old back up

Its a kernel issue, and it could possibly be a cm source issue. Meaning most cm based kernels could have the hard sleep issue. So if its on one cm kernel its almost going to be on all. Since source commits are the same, just added features per kernel. I highly recommend yank 555 kernel, then you can tune your max off freq and hardlimit etc. May help you out a bit.. Pm me for link to thread if needed
