Hello friends. I bought a Galaxy Note N5100, I realized I had the charger Note.
The flashee with Odin, A Stock ROM 4.1.2 version, everything went very well apparently. But when you turn the Note had 0% of battery, and now I want to charge the battery.
It has some differences with the standard 8.0 Note (universal connector), one of the main ones is that this Note has a connector that is identical to the Galaxy Tab 2 (30-pin connector)
Help I can do?
PS: I Flashee many ROMs and no battery lifts.
Attached are some photos. I compare with Note 8.0 with standard connector.
Sorry for the translation, use the Google translator. I do not speak English.
I think this is Note 8 clone (fake) not original . my friend bought a Note 2 then he discovered that it is a clone (fake)
Oh buddy you got yourself a Chinese fake. Sorry

Notice the bezel as well as the Samsung logo is slightly different. Very good fake though. I'm curious to know what kind of hardware the fake has. Go to your task manager and tell me how much ram is in there. Bet is 1gb

Both look different from mine. I got mine from Staples. It has only one dot right next to SAMSUNG on the top then the camera around 2cm away. OP's picture show 2 dots on both. Mine is N5110.

Probably because its the wi-fi only version, I too bought mine from Staples and has one dot and the camera.
The 2 dots are there on a 5100.. it is a proximity sensor which you don't have on a wifi only model... and my N5100 has regular micro usb port

I will never buy a device with an AMOLED screen again!
We have luck we have Perseus kernel, so colors look natural, but still its not bright and burns in.

The Note 2 can receive all the new software, but the SG4 will never receive the big screen. The Note 3 is the big dream...
No way will I sell my note 2 and add extra to get an S4. However, if someone wants to exchange then I might. The extra score on benchmarks and few gimmicky features just aren't enough for me to invest more money.

Nope. Definitely i won't be changing it, Maybe the Note 3, but certainly the S4 i'll pass. I don't feel the need to do it, since, much i've already got in my note2, and if 4.2.2 and the S Drive comes to the Note 2, i am sure i won't need it!
Plus the Screen, i just LOVE bigger screens, whenever i get an S3 on my hands it feels like it's so small!

S4! Ahhhhhh hahahaha.
No.
So the Samsung guy paid a visit and brought the AT&T version of the S4 with him...my question is: Is this better than our Note 2? I don't mean internally or as far as screen. It does everything the Note can do and more without need of a stylus AND has Multi-Window, all in a smaller package. Is this the ultimate device in terms of power AND comfort? I, like many, have that nagging obsession of buying everything that comes out...so I will get it. How about you? Would u switch because of the S4's much smaller size?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
The main reason I bought the note was the size. Would never get another phone simple for a smaller size.
So anything below 5.5" is too small? My S3 feels tiny in my hand after using my Note and the fact that everything is smaller on the screen doesn't help either. I wonder how much of a difference it'll be between the Note screen and S4 in everyday use.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
I would stay with the note, mostly because I'm used to it now lol. But I would go to the s4 mostly because of 4.2.2 on it

I was thinking about the battery life.. ugh but I love the htc one's build quality soo much!!! the note 2 with the same materials as htc one...OMG..it be a dream come true!!
It's a matter of personal taste...if you ever dreamed of an iphone-like device running Android, you're not bothered by the fact that the phone is sealed, doesn't have microSD slot and removable battery and 32GB of local storage are enough, HTC One seems to be the obvious choice. If you enjoy taking your phone apart or fixing it yourself for cheap if it gets damaged, like to have several days worth of battery life as an option and have a considerably sized media library you want to have with you then Note 2 is the way to go.
Galaxy S4 will be missing the support for smart stylus as well, some people welcome the functionality of it and I can't really think of any other phones on the market that would come close to the functionality and precision of the Galaxy Note 2 Stylus. As a galaxy note 2 owner I'm not sold on switching to the HTC One mainly because the most important new features it brings (1080p screen, improved camera, infra red sensor) are not enough to convince me.
Also HTC One is using the Adreno 320 GPU which although really fast right now will become dated sooner than most would believe, after Tegra 4 and the new generation mobile GPUs will hit the market a few months later. I know that not only I will skip the HTC One but also the Galaxy S4...I want to see what the Galaxy Note 3 brings new to the table, I'm pretty damn satisfied with my Note 2 so far.

id take the international galaxy s iv for the processor and gpu and all the features, the only thing the htc one has over the s4 is the front and back aluminum THE SIDES ARE PLASTIC LOL they couldve used glass or something but no they went with cheap looking plastic that looks like it will turn yellow in a few months

Hey everyone
anyone any thoughts on this? I have a note 2 and I love it. I am well used to the size and to be honest I don't think I can go to the S4's 5" screen.
Am I or will I be missing out on anything that the S4 has or will the note 2 get all the features in an update.
IR Blaster is the only major thing you're missing out on IMO.
And lte possibly.
Sent from my GT-N7100
the IR blaster as aforementioned and the extra sensors if you care for such
The ir blaster would be a handy little thing to have but I don't feel it would outweigh the extra half inch of real estate.
Any note 2 owners switching to the s4?
I can't even imagine switching from note 2 to S4. In fact I'll be missing out on even more useful options. I really hate how the new layout of the S4's settings menu, it looks outdated and I hope they change that before 4.2.2 is released on the note 2.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
Note 2 is way too good , no chance of replacing it with S4 .......Will wait for Note 3 & then decide on replacement.....As of now NOTE 2 ROCKS !!
If the Note 3 is more like the s4 than the Note 2, then I won't bother to upgrade.

I read, that with the update with the new S4 features that came come to the note, the menu on the GN2 is will become like the S4. I hope that is not the case as most reviews of the S4, have nothing positive to say about the menu..

1. Best battery ever on a Samsung smart phone - This is very important to me when I am out and have no access to charging , secondly I like to check my social networking media and love to have lot of widgets and live wallpaper - Try this on a S4 and you will know how bad the battery life is on S4.
2. How can you ever Trade a S-pens capabilities for a S4 ????
3. Instal a customer Kernel and overclock your Note2 to beat S4 performance.
- IR beamer !!! really - are you going to use it ????
- I am still not utilizing 100% of the sensor and motion control on Note 2 , S4 - Iam not sure if will use them all even though they are quite innovative.
And has anyone any idea when it will get some of the features?
The next probable update would be 4.2.2. Date unknown.
Note2 is best.. no need to replace that with s4.. wait for note3 and change it with note3..

Nexus for latest software. If you have a nexus, you'd probably get addicted to mods.
Note 2 for battery life and stability. Since there's not as much mods for the note 2, you'd just be using your phone like a regular person would.

I own both devices. I use the notes 2 far more than the nexus 4.
Nexus doesn't even have USB on the go. i've been able to transfer data to a usb off my phone with the on the go cable on numerous occasions on the note 2.
Each user is different.
Yes the nexus 4 will get lots of updates, but personally i think it is missing something in terms of experience and i haven't been able to put a finger on it.
i use the s pen rarely but when i do its very easy to use and sometimes fun when messing around with photos.
The camera on the note 2 is better imo. so is the multi window stuff etc etc.
for the price point i would say nexus used to win for me but the note 2 is a great phone and i don't even need to upgrade it for a few years to come (ok until note 4 lol). however i will be flogging the nexus 4 for a nexus 5 when that's out because i'm bored of it already
