Hi all.
I've just installed a few roms based on gingerbread on mi gio.
In all of them all works well but when i lock and unlock the screen it displays like a lower resolution. The wallpaper and all in general looks like it has lower resolution with green dots and line in the icons too.
The other problem is that the home button doesnt work and the volume + do the function of the home button.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks!

I have found an application that automatically rotates the HTC touch HD screen. Works 100% perfect.
I'll try this.Thanks in advance!!!!!!
gsen is an old application already tested many times here!
Conclusion is: the best rotate screen was manually rotate with "press and hold call button"!
BTW, you can found gsen latest version here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=403939

In registry, find:
HKLM\System\GDI\Rotation\HideOrientationUI and change the value to 0. No soft reset required. Just go to Settings - Buttons and find the "Rotate Screen"

Hi there,
i love the standardbrowser and all other features from the desire but i would althou love a little app that allow me to change the keys into scroll mode as excample
Press + or - for about 2 Seconds and then the buttons are Mapped for scrolling (would be awsome like Dolphin browser) in my humble opinion the zoom and everything is on the original Browser much better
but besides that it would be althou awsome for almost every other applikation ..
is there a app or solution out there?
I'm with you there, it would be nice to give the optic scroll button a use when the phone isn't in camera mode too
I'm running Cyanogen 7.0 and am wondering how to add an extra 4th quicklaunch button (the buttons that appear at the bottom of the home screen) The Androdian theme seems to shows 4 buttons in the picture, however 3 buttons still appear when I switch to it =( Is there an option somewhere that i'm missing? I've been through the menus a few times and can't seem to find anything at all.
Thanks.

Hi all,
I'd really like to know whether setting quick toolbar + full screen browsing into the stock browser does hide the software button of ICS. I mean: does it really have a fullscreen browsing that way, can I use the whole screen?
A screenshot would be really appreciated!
You know what: I own a Galaxy Note and I cannot make up my mind whether to change it or not for a Galaxy Nexus. I have an ipad2 too and maybe a note is too much. But I like big screen and maybe a nexus with its 4.65 screen it's the perfect size. However, browsing on a 4.65 screen with ICS software buttons, it's like browsing on my old Galaxy S2 in terms of visible screen. Thus browsing in real full screen would be great!
Thanks in advance
The softbuttons are still visible in fullscreen mode.
There's the labs feature quick controls which hides the address bar, also a labs feature to hide the notification bar, however nothing removes the soft buttons, they just turn into dots and dim.

Thanks for your answer!
Then the best I can achieve is to remove address bar and notification bar.
Such a pity!

Who knows, maybe one day devs will be able to hide them, like it happens for videos.
That would be great! I mean: when you have the quicktoolbar, they could insert there a back button and we could have the whole screen estate to browse!
That's what I'm hoping happens, if eventually someone manages to get them to hide from a swipe down then reappear with a swipe up or press of the power button or something, It would be awesome
Not, until we can access the bookmark via Quick Control as well.
Currently, when you enable Quick Control, you need to long-press the back button to access the bookmark.
There is no other way ...

Actually, if you go to the new tab shortcut, the bookmarks tab is in the top right next to the new tab and options button.
I've been always a fan of On screen keys ... and Samsung are famous of their Home button issue where it fails to operate after 10 months or so , and also i hate physical buttons .. had before Galaxy S 1 and it was no exception failed the home button and also S3 failed button too ... and just switched from Lenovo A3000 Phablet which had on screen buttons that rotates with the screen as i rotate the device ..
I came across this video :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UUBDiUy2824
It contains Cyanogen Mod 12 on OnePlus One Device which does exactly what I'm searching for simple switch in the settings to either use off screen buttons or sacrifice little bit from the screen size for the on screen buttons and it is Great !!
Just regular original android 3 buttons to be on screen
Does the CM11 or CM12 have that option already for N5100 ??
OK ..
So no one know anything about on screen buttons here ?
Xposed framework. Gravity box. It should be able to do it.
Sent from my GT-N5100 using XDA Free mobile app
I'd appreciate if you help me with more info about xposed framework gravity box ... is it an app (.apk) or an update file (.zip) to be flashed with odin ... I'd really appreciate some help here
