First step will be hw checking, if it can be repaired by replace hw then it's enough. Or maybe they don't find a way to fix it, may be it will be replaced. And if it replaced with different machine then it should have different imei. How does it last long? depends on their stock..
I had this issue within the first day of receiving my first HOX. I contacted the seller I had purchased it from, and they sent a courier to collect it. Once it reached, their depot, they sent out a brand new handset. If you bought it on the high street, I recommend returning it there for a brand new unit. If you bought it online, contact the seller. Only go through HTC if you must.
Hi guys I need some help from u
Now I have cracked AT&T HTC one x with cracked digitizer. Everything else working fine. Touch works fine. Due its hard to replace only digitizer I'm looking for Digitizer+LCD replacement. It cost $50-60.
the problem is, are there any different versions of these units.(I heard that there is color differences of flex cables) Will those any unit compatible with my AT&T HTC ONE X ? Any differences of these units for AT&T and International version ?
or what should I look when I buying digitizer + LCD units ?
Thanks

Try going to AT&T store and see how much they ask for an screen / digitizer replacement. That is the only way you are sure it will fit / work on your device.
To the best of my knowledge the screens on both models are identical in dimension and capability but I have absolutely no idea about internal connections, etc.
This is why you should be asking on the AT&T HOX forum and NOT in the international HOX forum.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi, i cracked my screen of my one x, need to replace it. I've done it once before, but the shop i sent it to replaced it with a cheap screen and it costed me U$130 including labour.
I would like to get an OEM screen replacement, I should be able to replace the screen by myself. Doesn't look too difficult.
Please let me know.
Also I would like to know where to get a 2100mAh battery from the one X+, heard that it is interchangeable with the one X.
Cheers

I am not sure it's compatible. There are differences between htc one x and hox+ layout.

The screens are the same, the housings are compatible, but you have to file some stuff down, but there are members here who have used the screen I linked on their One X (Endeavor)

They will never be a match for the original HTC Desire
Hello,
anybody has updated information on the Desire 7060? I purchased this phone today in china. But i have a hard time finding a customized firmware. I hate the one china unicom put on the phone.
Please let me know if there are any options...

Unfortunately no. Both phones have few differences on their cases.
But, you can also modify htc one x+ case to fit it for htc one x
I found this video on YouTube. This will show you how you can do this process. It is not that hard:

I did this a while ago, its not worth it. Even after modding the One X+ case, it still managed to feel uber cheap, creaking, light leakage, phone occasionally popping out of the housing. Also, wrong forum, this should have been posted to the One X O&A/Troubleshooting section.
