HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi, i cracked my screen of my one x, need to replace it. I've done it once before, but the shop i sent it to replaced it with a cheap screen and it costed me U$130 including labour.
I would like to get an OEM screen replacement, I should be able to replace the screen by myself. Doesn't look too difficult.
Please let me know.
Also I would like to know where to get a 2100mAh battery from the one X+, heard that it is interchangeable with the one X.

I am not sure it's compatible. There are differences between htc one x and hox+ layout.

The screens are the same, the housings are compatible, but you have to file some stuff down, but there are members here who have used the screen I linked on their One X (Endeavor)

Hi,
Got mine on order from Orange but today I discovered that they have the grey coloured One X's and not the One X with the white back cover.
Anybody know if you can get a white battery / back cover from HTC or somewhere else?

Edit: I mean the actual back cover not an hard additional shell - just to be clear about what I'm after!
One X does not have removable battery and it is unibody. No way you could replace the cover.

Ahhh - didn't know that. Thought it may come apart like the Sensation.
Why did Orange decide to go for the grey ones! They look rubbish! I want it in white!!! Or is that native HTC devices only and carriers have the grey device?
Guess my only choice is a hard shell then...

Orange generally prefer to sell darker variants of phones. Occasionally they even get exclusive colours.
IMHO, I like the grey one better. Was going for the white one initially but glad that I ended with the grey which looks more classy.

Orange had lots of white ones.... If you got it off there web site all you have to do is pic white in the colour selector, also my local Orange shop only had white ones on display

Sorry but I'm not a camera fan and the only one I own is the one on my mobile phone. So its not possible to help you with it. The black is indeed real stylish. It didn't lose out a bit to the white. At least to me and a few out there. I actually thanked god that the white went out of stock.

What do you think. The size of the onex+ and onex are the same afaik. Do you think its possible to replace the housing and the battery of onex with one from the onex+ as soon they are availible in repair/replacement stores?

I think having the One X+ battery on the Hox would be nice to have a bit more of juice (better than any kernel flashing )

But they don't sell the mainboards as they have Serial numbers etc... you won't see them (at least legal ways)
I am just concerned about the waranty...

I would be less expensive to buy a motherboard and to sell mine instead of just buying a new phone!
however The warranty is not a problem! I've never used that in all my life for a phone!

There's no internal 2100mAh battery for the HOX. You can buy only the original 1800mAh one, or you may try one of the battery cases. You can find many on ebay...

But if htc one x+ will be released it have to be possible to buy a 2100mAh Battery
The Bodysize is exactly the same, so we should get the one x+ battery on our one x

the process is simple until you have to void your warranty by unscrewing the screws(and a screw with "VOID" sticker on it)
...
just take phone to your htc service in your town and they will replace it and you will have your waranty. Here in my country price is 25 euro,just to wait for one x+ to come

I have the T-Mobile version of the HTC one X (UK Version if that makes any difference)
I recently purchased a "Power Bank" battery case charger 3200mAh from Ebay - The listing stated the battery case would not work with AT&T HTC One X but did not mention the T-Mobile one X
The battery case arrived today and does not work on my phone, i have done some google searches but i cannot find the reason why it wont work. The Pogo pins are aligned correctly as far as i can see & i have made sure they are clean.
Does anyone know the reason why the T-Mobile version wont work with these case chargers?
Can I get it to work if I root my phone or do i need to return it for a refund?

I would e-mail the supplier mate too bad that it didn't work.. I have absolutely no idea why? Are you sure the case is "ON"? Most of the times there is a switch on the case..? Have you charged the case a whole night?

The case has no power switch its just always on.
I know it doesn't work with at&t one x but it doesnt say anything about tmobile one x.
Why do they have to mess about with phone models, why can't they be uniform!
I've searched all over, the only battery case that 100% works with my version of the one x costs like £40 and I'm not paying that !
Ill just have to deal with the poor battery life. Phone doesnt last me three hours if I've watched a few vids and played a game or two.

I just bought an external charger 2600mAh its better than nothing but I would have preferred a case unit.
I'm using htct stock Rom at the moment, worried about rooting because I don't even know what version I have, clearly I don't have the international one because that charger would have worked if I had.
Dont wanna risk flashing the wrong Rom!

Unfortunately no. Both phones have few differences on their cases.
But, you can also modify htc one x+ case to fit it for htc one x
I found this video on YouTube. This will show you how you can do this process. It is not that hard:

I did this a while ago, its not worth it. Even after modding the One X+ case, it still managed to feel uber cheap, creaking, light leakage, phone occasionally popping out of the housing. Also, wrong forum, this should have been posted to the One X O&A/Troubleshooting section.
