If you have 4.1, the update is probably for 4.1.1. Installing the update would stop the notifications. You'd also then be running the current version.
You can install a custom ROM to prevent getting OTA updates.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you accept the OTA, you'll have to reroot your phone.

Accept the update, its much smoother than 4.1,and just reroot it through gnex toolkit 7.4.easy

It's probably the 4.1.1 update, like the rest are saying. But why don't you click "don't upgrade"? That should stop it.

just install it

Just install it or use a custom ROM

If you don't want to update (and I have no idea why anyone wouldn't), all you have to do is change one line in your build.prop file. See here.

its not out yet for anyone but poland yet...
to check go to settings>about device> android version
should say 4.1.1
If you flashed a jb rom or manuslly downloaded an ota and installed it. You couldnt be on jb be without having made it happen yourself.
But, look in settings > about and check your Android version.

i wish
Jelly bean jsnt out yet for t mobile galaxy s3 unless you are rooted and have a jelly bean based Rom u can keep checking tho if u want by going to settings about phone and check for update but when it is available u will more than likely get a notification on urban phone showing that there is an update available to install
Has anyone experienced issues with their keyboard after flashing the leaked 4.2.2 OTA on their phone? My keyboard will hide/unhide/hide/unhide rapidly at random intervals.
Question #2, has the official OTA update been pushed by Verizon yet? Does anyone have concerns that the OTA we received from Google was a beta version? Thanks in advance!
I don't run stock ROM but that was a leak so its not an official release. It is a beta

Haven't had any issues like that

Is there any way to go back to 4.1.1 without wiping the device?

Or am I able to "re-flash" 4.2.2?
Got a update notification about 2 hours ago for the s3. Anybody else get this? I didn't update it yet.
Phone is/was on latest already.
Take a screenshot and post it here:

How did you get a ota update message on a rooted rom ?

Updates still show on root66 roms. If you update, you'll just lose root.

Its stock rooted so if OTA hasn't been disabled it will come through although you could lose root.
Any screenshot?

What will a screenshot do? Honestly?
An OTA update will fail as long as your system status is 'modified'

It's on dlja. Thought that was the latest?
I guess dljc is the newer one. Guess I flashed the older root 66 by accident.
Sorry guys. Guess I goofed.
FYI
I just got the update last night, and now my build number ends in DLJC, too.
I got the notification, did the update which was really fast, noticed no difference so far, but system info is as follows

Just download the right image from https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images?hl=es#takju, and exectute flash-all.bat. The phone must be in fastboot mode.
That's it.
