That's a lot of crap. Don't worry, you can factory reset anytime and how many times you want and you will not get a bootloop.

Factory Reset rooted

Hi,
I had a rooted Desire and for some reason I've reset the phone to factory default using Settings => Privacy => Reset to factory Default. Now I want to know that if my device is now rooted or not ? and if not what should I do to root it again ?
any help ?
If you were previously rooted, then yes you are still rooted.
You can only unroot by installing an unrooted rom or update from HTC.
But I don't see the super permission !! Can I install it again ?

Need help rerooting a note 8.0 WiFi on a mac

Stuck on custom status and superSu doesn't work
Tried flashing superSu tried flashing a deodexed roms I found on here tried doing a factory reset hoping to maybe get back unroot status even tried framaroot again.
Can anyone tell me how to either get root again so I can add a custom recovery since my goal is too install the 4.2.2 update or get back to unrooted factory status?
Thanks in advance

You shouldn't need root to add a custom recovery. You can flash a recovery in download mode using Odin on Windows, or Heimdall on Windows/Mac/Linux. If you're interested I can give you some help with installing and using Heimdall.
Bear in mind that flashing files in download mode will void your warranty (there is a counter which tracks how many times you've flashed). Flashing also carries a risk of bricking your device permanently. Once the flash counter is nonzero, your device will be detected as "custom" and you still won't be able to install official updates. But you will be able to flash ROMs in recovery from the xda community.

To return to complete stock on a simply rooted rom(unmodified),install stock recovery if you have another recovery.
Install triangle away app and reset flash counter, then go to supersu and go to settings and select full unroot in cleanup section->done.
If you have a custom rom installed(or modified stock),install stock recovery if you have another recovery.Install triangle away app and reset flash counter, then download stock firmware from sammobile.com and flash it via odin->done.

Can i do factory reset?

Hello everybody!
I have a question
Yesterday I have had many problems with my Note 10.1 (P600). I've had a custom ROM and had it rooted.
Today I decided to put back the original firmware from Samsung via Odin.
Can i do a factory reset now without any problems?
Hopefully someone can help me.
Thanks!

Sure, if you want to reflash factory firmware, just use Odin and flash. Make sure you backup all your stuff before factory reset or flash stock firmware. If you want root and install custom recovery, you could follow these instructions http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...ersu-2-6-1-t3266010/post64198381#post64198381
