Hello everybody!
I have a question
Yesterday I have had many problems with my Note 10.1 (P600). I've had a custom ROM and had it rooted.
Today I decided to put back the original firmware from Samsung via Odin.
Can i do a factory reset now without any problems?
Hopefully someone can help me.
Thanks!

Sure, if you want to reflash factory firmware, just use Odin and flash. Make sure you backup all your stuff before factory reset or flash stock firmware. If you want root and install custom recovery, you could follow these instructions http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...ersu-2-6-1-t3266010/post64198381#post64198381

Hey guys, I need to download a UVDMD5 that is stock, unrooted/modified and flashable with Odin. I'm returning my phone, and need to get everything back to original.
Every link I've tried has been met with a Hotfile blocked by the US Government warning. Root66, everywhere. I'm currently on an MD5 ROM with the 4.1.2 bootloaders. If anyone can help me out or point me in the right direction, that would be great!
Try Factory Reset or Ask KIES to download Emergency firmware. (or something to that effect)

I can try to install Kies and go that route. Factory reset will just take me back to my custom ROM. I was just hoping for a some version of the non-rooted stock 4.1.2 ROM somewhere.
I may just end up doing the bootloaders and upgrade to 4.3, see if that is an option.
You can flash Rooted Stock and then uninstall SuperSU.
Hi everyone, so I'm looking to return to stock ROM as I am getting rid of this device. How would I go about getting back to stock ROM, so that the person I'm giving it to can then auto update? I had a quick look for a nandroid as I stupidly forgot to backup myself!
I'm on T705 by the way.
Search xda to see if someone has posted a stock Rom for your device. If not, you have to down load it from sammobile.com which is slow. Then do a factory reset to wipe your data and flash the stock Rom with Odin.
It will be ok if you put on an older stock Rom because once connected to Wi-Fi it will update over the air.

I thank you found it and registered!
Hello every one!
I will receive a galaxy tab s from my work and of course I wish I could root and instal TWRP on it.
The problem is that I will have to give it back in some time, and so I will need to flash it back to stock when this time will come.
So my question is: how to get back to stock recovery once twrp will be installed? (to unroot will be easier I suppose).. I mean, where can I find the stock recovery.img and how to procede to flash it?
Thanks in advance for replying! Any input will be very appreciated!
If you need to put it back to complete stock just flash the stock firmware.

Thanks for your reply!
I was not sure if recovery also would be flashed with stock firmware. But if you say it...
Thanks for input!
I have been trying to revert to stock 4.4.2 software (the ROM had root) on my device. Previously it had an official CM13 nightly installed as well as the NE4 bootloader I recently flashed and all went well when using the custom ROM and TWRP 3.0.2. After I manual flash the 4.4.2 stock rooted rom, the screen seems to get stuck on the AT&T logo during first boot. What can I do? Does this have to do with switching from Marshmallow?
Did you perform a full system wipe before flashing? Did you perform a factory wipe after flashing stock?

How exactly?
Hey everyone. I'm having some troubles with every custom ROM I install on my S3 T-Mobile (d2tmo) so I want to come back to Stock ROM. I've been watching some tutorials, but lot of them are pretty old, and none is for the Galaxy S3.
So, what do I need to do to go back to Stock ROM?
Should I do a full wipe from recovery (TWRP) and then flash stock ROM via Odin?
The custom ROM I flashed is 6.0.1. The phone had 4.3 when I flashed the custom ROM.
Am I right about what I think I should do?
Thanks in advance. :good:
Yep. The firmware you'll use in Odin should be a .tar.md5 file.
Just flash the latest stock rom from sammobile.com using Odin. No need to do anything before flashing the stock ROM.
After flashing the stock ROM, immediately boot into recovery and perform a factory wipe.

Thank you very much for answering my questions guys! Everything turned out ok!
But I have a doubt about a little think that I hope you could help me.
Before flashing the stock rom I was planning on backing up my efs folder from the TWRP,version 2.8.70 for my s3 (d2tmo), but when I try to do a backup, there no "EFS Folder" option, however, on my other phone, a Galaxy Note 3 Exynos Variant (International Version) when I try to perform a backup there is a EFS folder option for backing up. It is also a TWRP recovery, and same version. 2.8.7.0. I know the phones are completely different, but, why if I'm using the same custom recovery and same version I can't do a EFS Folder backup from the backup option?
I hope I made myself clear about my question. Sorry for my English BTW, it is not my first language.
Thanks in advance!
Maybe this will help although it requires root: http://forum.xda-developers.com/s6-edge-plus/development/updating-t3210266
