hey guys,
I successfully rooted my kindle fire 6.3.2 but now I don't know how to get google play store on it. Can someone let me know? I'm using a mac but i don't think that'll affect anything. Thanks!

Up until recently the play store could not see my fire. Now it recognizes it and allows me to click on download. However when I do nothing happens. This is an unrooted kindle. Play shows the apps as "installed" but again nothing ever gets to the kindle. Am I doing something wrong? Or is play recognizing fires now and working with them only if they're rooted? I didn't know if Google found some way around amazon's block.

Your not doing anything wrong, my kindle had the same thing. I wasn't rooted and I was able to get on the play store but if I downloaded an app then it would crash. If you root and flash gapps on your kindle then you can send apps to download on your fire.

If you have any apps on your fire that you sideloaded such as play books or play music that use a google account, then you will likely show up on google play
I have a One S as well as a Kindle Fire with ICS and I wondered if there was a way to install the apk or app from my rooted One S onto the Kindle Fire. Any advice help on whether this is possible would be appreciated...

I downloaded the google play apk file from google than transferred to my kindle and installed. I did the same with google chrome and it works.
The biggest problem was getting adb files working on my computer with windows 7. I finally after many tries got it working and was able to root the kindle.
All I have done is run the root programs. The one I used last was QEM
It's not the perfect answer but I would recommend you give kindle first aide a chance. I successfully rooted and installed the complete google apps with this program. Check the kindle 7 inch forum for the program.

Tried first aid with no luck. I saw on other sites that the original charger cable does not work in all situations. I ordered a new one and will try it and see if it works. Thanks for your help

Google play won't get installed just like that.... You need to install other services too... The easiest way to install is to root your device and install kindlefree... Ironically it's there in Google play and also as an attachment in the apps official thread at xda... Search for it and you'll find it.

Google Play requires the Google Service Framework to run properly. Chrome is an app, Google Play is an ecosystem.
thanks to all who helped me. I have rooted my kindle and have google play working. thnks, thnks, thnks.
Hi team,
I am new for the Android system. Just successfully Rooted it last weekend. But found out, I am still not able to sign in Youtube.
Error message: "This app requires Google Play service, which is missing in your device."
Do you have any suggestion to solve this issue?
My firmware is 8.4.3
Thank you in advance.
Rob
Simply search Google; Google play services.apk... Download it and the install. While data from YouTube and open it then sign into YouTube.

I have a Kindle Fire updated to 6.3.4 and had an app that I love using, but suddenly was told its incompatible with recent updates.
Is there a way to root the kindle and fool it into downloading the app from say Google Play Store?
I tried the method of rooting on here and it did not seem to work, but then again, I'm not the greatest at jailbreaking, rooting, etc
Thank you in advance for the answer.
