[Q] Distorted sound using headphones. - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4

Hi,
The sound through the headphones was working fine for the first few days and then it got distorted. Aft first I thought it was the headphones so I tried it with 3 different headphones and the issue still persisted.
The speakers work perfectly fine, it is just when headphones are plugged in, I tried using the headphones to listen through several different music players and video players.
Details:
S4 Galaxy on T-Mobile (UK)
Android Version: 4.2.2
Baseband Version: I9505XXUBMGA
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

What headphones are you using? There is apparently a hardware issue with the S4 and low-Ohm headphones, I think 12 Ohm and below cause problems.

Distorted Audio Sound quality when connecting headphones.

If someone can present a resolution I'd be very grateful.
I'm having trouble listening to music on my E4GT when it comes to listening to music. Whenever I connect earphones the sound is automatically distorted and robotic sounding. But oddly, whenever I connect to my car audio auxiliary it plays fine. I try different options to pinpoint the problem, its not the headphones because they work with any other device (also tried multiple headphones) and its not a hardware issue because it works with my car stereo hookup. I havent tried portable speakers because I dont possess any. Its very frustrating.
Thing is this started recently, I havent changed roms or installed any apps.
Im on Jellybean 4.1.2, rooted running the latest MIUI from the Android Development thread..
Ive seen a thread before the issue started on a different forum site, but it has no search feature so I cant relocate it.
Can anyone help me out??

[Q] No audio out to earphones or external speakers

Just got myself a Galaxy Note 8.0 (WIFI) for about 2 weeks. Everything was working well until I need to watch a movie on the plane. Then realized I got no audio on the earphones. The earphones used is not the ones that comes with the Note 8.0. It was the ones from my Note 2.
But I don't think the problem lies with the earphones. Anyway I tried again with an external speakers. Again no audio.
The audio out on the built-in speakers are good.
I am using the default video player. And Android 4.2.2. Upgraded when I first booted up the machine.
Tried going through the system sound settings and software (video player) settings. But nothing works.
And when I plug in the earphones or speakers, the message "something" connected is shown in the status bar.
So is it because the input jack is not working or something else? Hate to bring it back to the service center cos it will be one month later when I get back to Singapore. Now I am in China.
Any help will be much appreciated.

[Q] Earphones, Bluetooth not working

When I plug in my earphones, or pair with a bluetooth headset, my Note4 DE acknowledges/recognizes both, but sound continues to come out of phone speaker only. I've tried the stock music player and a couple of different apps.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bluetooth headphones with Android 7.1

Hi, guys!
Recently I decided to install Android 7 ROM but have a strange bug with my bluetooth headphones.
It's Bose QC 30. After pairing they with my phone I hear no sound, but if I turn off and then turn on bluetooth on the phone the headphones work correctly. If I turn off and then turn on my headphones and they will connect to my phone, I hear no sound again
If my phone connects to my headphones - all right.
If my headphones connect to my phone - no sound.
When I used Android M, my headphones worked fine.
I tried any ROM with Android N: CM, lineage, Cypher (AOSCP) and many others, each of it has this bug.
I tried to use another headphones (QCY QY12) and very old bluetooth speaker (LG Music Flow P7), they worked correctly.
I don't understand, where is this bug in android N or in Bose firmware.
Any suggestions to fix it? Thanks!
Can I use anything to debug my bluetooth connection and read logs of it?
HTC One M8 (HTC__A07)

Firmware: 6.12.401.4
I would say its from the headphones because are probably old model.I have strange problems with Bluetooth headphones and speakers after upgrading to android 7.My opinion is that they are not compatible with the new version of the android.

The headphones are a new model of September 2016 but they probably use a old bluetooth chip. Although I tried to use lg music flow p7 bluetooth speaker witch is too older than the headpones and it works fine.
It's a very strange issue.
Yes , strange indeed. Sadly I don't think there is fix for that
And I notice the simmilar issue with my laptop (macOS Sierra 10.12.2): at the first time when the headphones connect, they use SBC codec, if I reconnect they then they use AAC codec. May be Android 7 has a bug to work with SBC codec?
