It was raining heavily two days ago. I was out and i had my phone with me . I tried my best to keep it away from water (and was successful , almost)
but yesterday i found out that there is a faint black spot whenver i open the camera on the bottom which appears when i click pics.
My display is fine as when i watch videos that spot is no longer there.
So what to do now? Will this spot go away automatically? And yes i opened the phone, cleaned the camera lens both from inside and outside but still no effect. :/
See the two pics to see how the black spot looks!

Recently I noticed that there is dust under the camera glass in front of the camera. It initially appeared as a dark dot when taking pictures. Well now it got worse and there are two dots! I checked and it looks like there is more dust. I don't know how it's getting in there, but I already tried blowing compressed air on and around the camera to clear it, but it didn't work. Any ideas what to do? Here is what it looks like, it is the two dots on the bottom:

i wouldnt brick it. i would send it back to tmobile. tell them there is dust underneath the lens of ur camera and all the pics have dots in them. im sure they will replace it no problem since it cant be fixed.
I recently attempted to repair my cracked front glass (touch screen was completely working).
I didn't heat the glass using a dryer or glue gun because I have seen a person doing a video on YouTube recommending not to heat the glue as it dries fast and it actually makes the glue harder to remove. Half way through the repair, touch was still working. Every thing was. So I got excited and accidentally nicked the screen. Since it wasn't working anymore (first white screen while I was doing the repair, then went half white/black, then when I turned it off/on again everything was black -- I could still receive calls) I decide to remove it altogether. Didn't know there was a hard to remove residue under it, but anyway I succeeded removing it.
I tried turning it on with the screen removed (also removed the connector to the motherboard) and I got a boot loop (felt vibrations again and again). Is this normal? I assume it is because no screen was connected. This is the current state of my device:
https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/114981610862902277332/albums/5848428825750128241
If you notice in the third pic, I also nicked a small part of the black portion of the back, where the circuits of the screen are placed. Anyway I want to ask if I can still purchase a $130 digitizer+screen replacement and attach it again, and do I need some kind of adhesive similar to the one I removed? Or is my device gone for good?
I'm planning to give this to my father if it can still be fixed.

Impossible to get support for Galaxy Nexus here in my country. I could have asked technicians or more hardware-techie people to do the job, but I figured based on the amount of people who did it successfully, I could have probably done it myself. Half way I was still doing good but got too excited so I broke it :/
Thanks
Edit: It seems the site you linked to does not have a screen+digitizer part available.
I've found the following parts on eBay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Full-LCD-di...909?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c288bc915
http://www.ebay.com/itm/LCD-Touch-D...846?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item564c51c966
Is this the correct part? I still have the front glass part I ordered for my repair attempt, if these do not come with it.
Hey, guys recently I dropped my phone from about waist hight onto a tile floor. It landed on the backside and everything seemed fine until I went to use the rear camera again. Now there are about four blue dots that appear on the screen when in the camera veiw and they appear in pictures unless it is very bright outside when the picture is being taken.
Im not really sure what the problem is or how to fix it so any help would be greatly appreciated.

try flashing another rom. If its still there on different roms then its a hardware issue and you will probably have to send it in for repair.
Can you take a picture of it first? I wanna see how it looks
me too
My phone just started to do that ...I called Verizon and they are going to replace my phone. .. good luck
Hello,
i am a proud owner of Galaxy S4 Mini.
BUT, I have a problem....
When i tap, even when i touch the screen, it makes an annoying crackling noise, that comming definately from the inside of the device, specifically at the top of it. The noise exists even if the back cover, the battery and the sim card are removed. It sounds like a screw or something in there, is not screwed on properly.
This happens from the first day i bought it, and has certainly not ever fall...
I think it comming from the camera, not the camera cover, but the camera itself, or the vibrator. I watched a assembly/reassembly video, and i noticed that the camera has a loose housing, and the vibrator is stucked with double side tape. Maybe that is the problem...
Have anyone here, faced something like this?
I do not want send the device to my local samsung service center, simply because i dont trust them..(i have heard things...)
If open the device myself to see what is happening, i will loose the warranty? Is there a way to notice a opened device? Something like moisture indicator?
Thank you in advance, i really hope to solve that problem soon.
Hmz now after reading this post I can see I have this noise also. But if I push a little harder...
It doesn't mind me however opening the device will void your warranty I am sure they have some sort of seals on it for this.
I've this problem too just on top but i hope it's "normal"
PS = people tell us if you have this problem or not please!

No cracking noise when I push the screen on top but I can hear a very tiny small sound when I shake it!
Send from my GT-I9195
I can't hear any of these loose parts no matter how hard I shake my phone or press the screen. :/
And @dimitro, there is always a warranty sticker/indicator that manufacturers paste to check if the user has opened the phone and meddled with the hardware. Breaking this seal usually voids the warranty so I don't suggest you do it.
after some research on the web I found out that it should be the camera's autofocus mechanism, it is normal because the autofocus needs a little space for work properly
you can heard this sound on EVERY phone with autofocus :fingers-crossed: in some device a bit less or in some case a bit less just for the situation of mechanism based on the last focus made
So, in some of us our s4 mini jingle when shaking the device and in some cases (like mine) the device jingle even when tapping on the top of screen...
I can say that there is a small manufacturer error. I belive that this noise has nothing to do with the autofocus camera.I hope it wont turn into something bigger.
If someone, finds out what is happening in there, please let us know....
Although that noise is not causing any functional problems (so far), but belive me is very disappointing to live with that...
No,
believe me, it's the camera: same sound on S Advance just for an example
i have the same crackling sound, doesnt bother me though!
I'm really sensitive to anything like strange noises or cracklings, but my i9195 does absolutely make no noise when shaking or pressing it.

actually im living in GULF very high Humidity and temp 49 C., maybe this cause the issue?
I have the same issue. Did you solved?
I had that. It went away after I dropped my phone. I assume it was a speck of dust within the lens housing.
This is a dust on the sensor. Known issue in DSLR cameras.

Did you find a solution to this? I had this problem and LG replaced the camera module for me but the spot is still there at the exact same location.
