flashed firmware on odin when it rebooted it stuck on galaxy gt screen removed battery tried to go into recovery mode but wouldn't any help would be grateful :crying:
try reflashing fw if you can enter to download mode
I have done it but after odin finishes it says remove then just sticks on the gt Samsung screen
You should try to flash a full firmware with PIT.
where can I get that from
search up how to downgrade from Jb to GB……there you should find a website with links and has the pit files and you can maybe flash that.
:/ sorry cant post link

Maybe it's not your luck my brother.
verify again your setting on odin. see "how to" thread carefully.
and verify again your ancora.ops its contains partition table.
I've faced this problem before. Try these:
1. Flash stock ROM. Tutorial is available from here
2. Root your phone again. Tutorial is available from here
3. Install Clockworkmod. Tutorial is available from here
4. Confirm that your CWM is accessible.
try another ancora.ops
Tanks for all..for replay
I have replace this ancora.ops but
remains the same. the flashing process with Odin just to step CLOSE SERIAL PORT AND REBOOT .. but my phone can not reboot until a PASS in odin ..

Ok I rooted my boys gs2 few months ago.. Everything was great for him till a week ago.. So he came with his phone and I went to flash a new rom when I flashed the rom all was good then I rebooted the phone and it went into download mode but it shows a pic of a phone and a computer and says on the screen.. firmwear uncountered an issue.. Go into kies and select recovery mode.. So I tried kies about 20 times and it will not work no matter what I do.. So I went into odin and it see's the phone so i flashed unroot stock tar file.. and it worked.. phone works again.. but my friend wants a custon rom on it still so i flashed twrp recovery using odin everything went fine take the battery out try and go into recovery and bang rite back to that dowenload mode screen and it says all that stuff again.. I also tried cwm recovery? same issue.. I dont understand whats going on? please help.. I googled and cant find what I need.. Was up to 3:30 am trying to figure this out Im thingking maybe it will just have to stay stock because no matter what recovery i flash it happens

Latest drivers installed? Also maybe try ODINing to ICS and try it out from there
Is there a jelly bean 4.1.2 stock tar file around that i can flash in odin.. i just tried again 5 time somehting is wrong cant flash any recovery on this phone anymore.. everytime i get that firmwear upgrade encountered an issue please select recovery mode in kies and try again? thats what it says in the download mode screen.. then it stuck on that screen unless i use odin to flash a new rom.. i have UVLI4 tar file im hoping to get a newer file to flash and just leave it stock cause flashing a recovery is a NO go..
Oh, man! You need to do some more reading. I realized that you're posting in all kinds of threads in multiple forums (fora?) to solve your problem. All the stock tar files are available at sammobile.com. Search for T989 there and you will find the most recent odin-flashable T-Mobile stock rom.
:crying:
I was updating my phone with official 4.3 then the odin hanged and stopped working and the phone now when I power it on it gives my this message
"Firmware update encountered an issue , please select recovery mode in Kies and try again"
- Kies doesn't recognize the mobile
- I wasn't rooted
- I have no warranty
PS : I tried and I can boot into download mode
but when I try to flash stock firmware the odin hangs again
I searched and found that I can unbrick it using stock rom with pit file and modem file as separate files .. any one with this rom ??
please tell me what to do ..

Press and hold Vol down + Menu key and power key for 4~8 secs it'd again reboot your phone into download mode, and repeat the full story again.
Put battery out and put back again and you will go at download mode (also I think when you have this message you are at download mode check if you don't see again the download mode if you can see the phone through odin) . Open the task manager at windows and terminate any kies process, download Odin3v1.87 close the Internet connection and flash your firmware with pit file and repartition checked. Odin3v1.87 will do the job, newer odin can't flash at this situation.

Okay....
Deep breath....and here we go..
The Odin flashes you are attempting....are failing due too your updated bootloader....(the one you received when you took the official update)..
Nothing you can do about the bootloader now as it can't be reverted....but that's okay....
Here's the plan...
Load up odin and download the UCUCNJ1 rooted rom from the link below...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2973448
Boot the device into download mode and flash the above file...
If the device begins boot....pull the battery and put the phone into download mode ....and flash the same file again...
Once complete...allow the phone to boot and it should start normally...
If it does....then power off and boot into your stock recovery and wipe data then cache and boot again...
You should then have a rooted stock....UCUCNJ1 build...
The reason this works is because your rom image that you flashed does not contain a bootloader image....
Once you are back up and running....you'll need supersu....(the thread explains this in the first post)...
The process to get you going is pretty simple....you just need the right file to flash...
Read that first post....as everything you need is there....g

Hi,
I have a samsung gt-n7100 it hangs on the samsung galaxy note II logo and afterwards the android bot appears to be loading...then a red exclamation marks pops up and many error messaged appear such as failed to mount efs etc.
Android System Recovery is - KOT49H.N7100XXUFNE1
I have tried odin3, but it fails every single time....failed to write to nand in short.
I tried using the recovery pit and 4.1.2 recovery files, but same it fails every time and I have noticed that on the phone sometimes there is invalid magic string.
I am thinking that it could be the bootloader since it cannot be downgraded, but the link nd3 bootloader to flash is down and can't try that, but it can be anything.
Can anyone suggest anything? maybe even a way to flash phylz recovery and then flash a custom rom?
Am clueless and any help is appreciated.
Thanks!
use different ver. of odin or kies recovery.
what info do you have in odin?
hey I had same problem stuck on logo and could not use odin becouse of same problem. so it was long time ago and I dont remember in details but what I did was, I used microSD. moved rom files in it and installed them with recovery.Sorry my english is weak but if you dont have cwm recovery or twrp recovery try to find them for odin.I think I did not have them working too but I found recovery to installed with odin and It worked.no NAND error or things like that.so try to install recovery with odin and then put rom files on sd card(if you have it).since then I haven't tryed to install any stock rom using odin becouse I still have that NAND error and I dont want my phone to die in my hands . GOOD LUCK!
Are you using the original Samsung USB cable? Tried different USB ports?
