So I noticed today that I have a gap that's really noticeable. Does anyone know how I would fix this without messing anything up badly? Running re-calked for jelly bean with agats 1.4.0 kernel modem is gb27 AIO is 4.4 by tdunham (spell check). Also have jellyverse blue toggles flashed over the 4.4 AIO.

I believe if you update to the latest ported 3 minit settings it will give you an option to reclaim that area'left by brightness slider.
Oh wow that's strange. When I rebooted it was normal again. You're right it was brightness slider but something caused it to crash since I do run it.

This has been happening randomly if you leave the slider active, a bug that hasn't been addressed as it hasn't been reported. I thought it was just me messing around too much lol.

A. Don't take pictures of darkness lol.
B. Mess with the exposure settings in the camera to see if it fixes it.
C. I had this problem and for whatever reason, Factory Reset fixed it.
Are you rooted? What ROM, Kernel, and Radio are you on? These could be useful in giving you a more accurate answer.

Lmao.. You're right.
Im using mikg rom. More Freedom kernel by lithid and im on the newest radios.

Agree that a factory reset fixes this.
I've tried most EVO Roms here and have not experienced this problem. Recently, however I flashed the Freedom kernel over shooter and had this same issue with the fuzzy camera. Once I flashed the stock kernel, problem went away. Did you have this problem before flashing the kernel?

I didn't even use the stock kernel. I went straight to freedom.. And yes, i do agree. Stock fixes the issue.

Yeah, Whenever something goes wonky with the camera it seems to usually have something to do with the kernel. Usually this will get fixed with an update. I'm sure lithid-cm is aware of this.
Hey all, I have noticed a trend on both my GS2 and now my GS3, it would appear that certain apps would have low mic volume after installing clean builds of either CM9 or now CM10.
Does anyone know if a fix or has anyone else encountered this specific issue?
Again, my mic is just fine, I even went back to a TouchWIZ based ROM to confirm this, it would appear that in CM ROMs for some 3rd party apps, in this case Voxer, that the mic is turned down extremely low.
And now the program will only produce audio via the earpiece with the MIUI ROMs, the mic is also EXTREMELY low. Does anyone have advice?
i was just about to post this! what's going on?
I'm really surprised by all the ppl that flash a ROM without reading through a thread...CM has disabled one mic, hence the audio being low. All other AOSP ROMs are based on CM, which is why they have the problem. There is no fix that I've seen as of right now. Either run a CM based ROM and have the problem or flash back to a TW ROM.

I feel like this isn't a ROM specific issue, but rather possibly a network one. Off and on early this morning and until now, my phone has had problems reporting the time, the time it reports is wrong, 4 hours ahead. For example i sent a text at 11:16am and my phone reported it sent at 3:16pm, then the very next text i sent to the same person had the right time, 11:22am. This made the earlier text come up as more recent. It started off as just noticeable in text messages, because my status bar clock still was correct. Then next thing i know, the status bar clock also jumped ahead four hours ahead. I restarted the phone, and also unchecked and rechecked automatic network time set in settings and all was right, but every once in a while the problem recurs. Anyone else experiencing clock issues? Any tips?

Its just a glitch in the matrix, take the blue pill and go back to sleep no seriously its most likely a network issue due to tower/network upgrades or maintenance in your area.

Follow the white rabbit.
Happened to me as soon as I booted a new rom update last night Clock was way off. Thought it was a bug. I set it manually then back to carrier time and all was well.

Happens to me last night. It's not the first time and I can assure you that is a network issue.

Just looking to see if anyone has some awesome backgrounds for their notification drop downs. Also if people would be willing to post some links to download them. Just trying to get a fully customized experience on my S3

I remember freeza having a how-to guide for creating such mod, but it hasn't been updated to reflect JB yet. I tried creating some myself but I kept receiving and error when recompiling the apk. Maybe freeza or some other member would be willing to write another how-to guide into doing this, I'd still be interested at giving it another shot. Also, I know Josh had some in his old ICS JellyBomb ROM, not sure if he's update then to JB either

Dang bro you really like taking screenshots from your phone don't you lol. He didn't ask for it to be semi-transparent but to have a image on the drop down. Not sure how you got that from what you read lol.

lol it's all good. Any customization really. I just flashed the Wicked sensations ROM and it's got a pretty sweet one that came with it. Might just keep this for a while.
my GSIII is running Jelly Bean 4.1.1 and Since I've had the phone when I'm taking pictures/video it randomly shuts off and restarts, sometimes it just totally freezes and I have to do a battery pull. yet when my phone is plugged in and charging it never shuts off with pictures/videos. any ideas? I attached a pic of the battery I'm using (I have 3 of these) and they all do this.

If I had the problem you are having what I would do is to download and Odin flash the stock T999 4.1.1 rom.
Perhaps something in your phone got corrupted and by flashing the stock rom it should fix your problem.
After flashing the stock rom don't install any apps at all until you are sure that the problem is fixed.
If it does not fix the battery problem, then there is something wrong with the phone itself and needs to be
exchanged if its under warranty or repaired if its not under warranty.
Good luck.
When I flashed the 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. that fixed the camera. no more shut downs. thanks!! I truly never would have thought of it. Wish I had asked sooner I've lost a lot of photos/video because of it. Thanks again though.
If you ever have any random errors or glitches reflashing your rom will be your best bet. Personally I've had those types of glitches as well sometimes something was corrupted and other times it was because of an unstable rom I flashed.
