Glitchy screen using jellybam. Any fix? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

Ive been experiencing a glitchy screen with JellyBAM rom on my galaxy s3. Im currently running the may 2013 kt747 kernel and the newest version of JellyBAM. Is there any way to fix the screen glitches?

Jellybam ROMs were banned from XDA, so I doubt you will get much help.
Have you tried HW overlays in developer settings?

Using too many things from other ROMs without permission. People usually try to keep talk about it here to a low. Wasn't trying to be rude in the post above. Was just informing.

Oh no big deal. I was just curious. Good info to know though. Are there any fairly new ROMs out that are similar to synergy? Ive been looking but cant find anything

The one for Verizon? There is Cleanbean, Whiplash ROM, metalrom, M.O.A.R, phantom ROM, and if you are into themed ROMs, the peoples ROM, wicked sensations, jelly bombed, and goodness. All good touchwiz ROMs.

and if you like the look of AOSP you should try the no Cynowiz ROM. Touchwiz with AOSP themeing. Great ROM as well.

Im on the sprint variant which is why im here in the sprint forums lol but the synergy works for all builds. I read a lot into it before choosing to flash it. But it runs very smooth and is extremely stable and has pretty good battery life. Just making sure most of these roms suggested are for the sprint variant

There are so many good roms out. Test out another one and confirm its either your phone or the kernel. Also, go visit the good folks at Team Kernelizer thread and they have tweaks for KT747. I did experience some glitches when configurations were not properly tested.

NexusMod 4 for T989

Hey, I'm M0D1441, from over in the Skyrocket forums, I'm the developer of StockMod and NexusMod and i was wondering if anyone here would be interested in me creating a NexusMod for the T989. Just a simple thought, if i ever get to it
i had T-Mobile and a T989 for a while and i really liked the phone, and some users from the tmo forums seem to have interest in Nexusmod 4 so i'm willing to do some work for it. Any feedback? Thanks.

OMG YES!
I have several different UCLA3 roms on my tmo sgs2, they run like a dream but unfortunately with flashing the ucla3 based roms I cant get the tmo modem to stick using odin, so I'm religated to the 2.3.5 roms T.T
I wanted to flash a skyrocket rom to see test the so.called "2d lag bug", I noticed almost automatically that it was a bit more fluid. Unfortunately the modem wouldn't stick. Having this rom with skyrocket source, T-Mobile kernel and modem would be amazing to try out!
Edit: I flashed nexusmod from the skyrocket forum
yeah, that nexusmod looks good!
when you say 'aosp launcher', it looks like (from the screenshots) it's the gb one, not ics, correct?
yes please!

Hell yeah, I tried on a few occasions to flash this rom but it would never boot past the kernel screen, regardless of SR or Herc kernel. Always just got kicked back to recovery (strange?).
I saw it last night and would love it on the the t989. Just please do not strip down everything. Touchwiz is pretty nice.....

Yeah.had it running but suffered no bars. Not to mention the reboots with market.
I'm guessing the bars relate to the fact mine is unlocked and running ATT. The reboots, I'm not so sure.
besides those big issues, the ROM was pretty smooth

Its actually going to be based on KL1 2.3.6 if I am correct, I'm rebuilding the ROM from scratch, but exact same futures.
Or is that a bad idea...

Sounds fine, from what ive read people cant seem to shake the ucla3 modem and, correct me if i'm mistaken, but the modems are the only difference on the 2.3.6 roms?
Yes, please. I am all for NexusMod 4.
Definitely. Made the jump from a G2 to T989, and have been looking for a good AOSPalike.

I've ported it to the AT&T S3 but haven't made a thread for it yet because I have one bug left in it, call audio doesn't work. I could port it to the Sprint S3 and upload it in this thread if anyone wants to test it. Call audio should be the only bug, well if there's any bugs in CM10 those will be present too.

well im personally using aokp right now. it takes care of a lot of the cm10 bugs and it has a few customizations that i really enjoy already baked in (i.e. center clock and circlemod battery). the main reason i want the paranoid android is the in depth ui changing. and with jellybean now having 3 different uis baked in id love to go through and tinker with all of that. i really want the 7inch notification bar ui and the tablet camera ui ( i love the option wheel look). but just like it was mentioned earlier, more roms is never a bad thing but the only way i see me giving up aokp is for some PA love lol
Yup it is pretty badass

Most stable ROM and easiest to use for women?

I'm currently a SGS3 owner on and the T-mobile Hercules belong to my wife. Her current stock ROM is GB and its been very slow. She wants to do the upgrade to ICS or JB.
I've rooted the phone, installed MIUI with the latest JB last night. Everything is fine and dandy last night. This afternoon, she told me the ROM has been crashing a lot, it would frequently have a black screen and take forever for the screen to come back up. Also, the bluetooth audio out function for music no longer work in her car. It was fine before in stock T-mobile GB rom. Another issue is her office has a very weak reception coverage, so she often use the Wifi-calling feature and it was great. The new MIUI JB rom no longer has that feature.
I'm planning to flash a new ROM, something that is stable, with the feature above already implemented and wont crash or cause major problem. Anything that you guys can recommend me to? Please link the ROM too if you can.
Thanks in advance! :good:
I would advice you to wait until the CyanogenMod 10 comes out for S3.
I'm using the nightly builds for S2 and they're working fine so far... But I'm not aware if there are any for S3
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
Put a touchwiz based ICS ROM on her phone. Aosp/aokp/cm ROMs don't have WiFi calling. JB ROMs aren't stable enough for use as a DD yet.
Edit-- one possible option:

Not exactly. This forum is for the Hercules (T989), which is an almost-twin for the Skyrocket (I727 I think...). That phone does have it's own forum.

Rooted T-mo S3/ Opinions on best custom rom

I recently rooted my T-mo Galaxy s3 and was hoping to get some feedback on custom roms. I have used Cyanogen in the past but I realize everyones preference is different. I'm interested in JB roms of course and am looking for the following. Fast/stable/lots of cool features/themes/ and doesn't destroy your batterey life. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I apologize in advance if I'm in the wrong section.

Search through development and original development. Read the first post of each one, a list of features is there
I have been through several roms. I was curious if someone had one right off. So i don't waste time downloading to see I don't like it or it don't have it.
Hense I downloaded one that said it had it to run and find out it doesn't work or isn't really there.

This is why these "suggest me a ROM" threads never work.
Synergy works just fine with no issues if installed correctly.
Those are the onyl two that have multiwindow. Synergy has a more stock look and galaxymod is more themed and custom.
Give them both a try because both are great works from great dev's
