[Q] Lidroid toggle mod AND battery icon mod, don't work together. - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

Hi.
Hopefully someone can help me understand this...and a possible solution would be cool too.
I have installed "CleanROM SE 3.0 AT&T Edition" (and several other mods). As well as "Perseus Kernel A-36". All is running very well.
The thing that I'm stuck on is that both the "Lidroid toggle mod" and a battery mod don't work together (I've tried a few...none do the trick). When I flash the toggle mod, I have stock battery. When I flash the battery mod on top, it doesn't work. If I flash the "Stock status bar" mod, and then the battery mod, it works but I lose the toggle mod. Then if I try to flash the toggle mod again, I'm back to stock battery.
If I have to choose between the two, so be it. But if there is a way to have both, I'd love that.
Thanks in advance if anyone has any suggestions.

So, should I assume that no one knows anything about this?

It would all hafto be built into the SystemUI.apk together.

Yes, I think I understand that. Unfortunately though, I myself have no idea how to accomplish that. Would you (or anyone else) be able to recommend a source of info?

[REQ] Stock EB13 Deodex Template with Power Mod, 1% battery, No Pop Up.

I am far from knowing how to get this going myself so I hope that one of the themers on here might oblige me by making this possibe. I like running stock for a bit since I am new to the Epic. But I would like the ability to have Reboot and Recovery from the Power Menu as well as the 1% battery option as well as No battery pop up from a stock deodexed template. I would still like all stock apps to remain in place as I remove those at my own leisure via root explorer or 7-zip prior to applying the zip. I am rooted and have no worries there but I have no idea how to get the .xml files edited or add any of these features. Especially on Froyo. Thanks in advance for the read and hopefully assistance! I am all for testing as well so...
I am really surprised that no one else seems to want this. If someone is able to do it can you include the camera fix and call log fix unless those are kernel issues which a kernel is taking care of it already. Please someone help us out!

Here is one link to a rooted deodexed stock install and there are a few others in Android Developement. Then you can add battery mods to that.

[Q] Quick Settings edit

hi,
quick question: how to edit the quick settings in the drop-down menu (notification tray) in Gingerbread Sense ROMs ? (im using insertcoin)
i want to know ! how to do ?
Maybe this Thread helps you
well unfortunatetly no answer there, just an idea to decompile an .apk and suit it to my needs.
still, anyone ?
Its so simple in MIUI Rom... their is an option in settings/Personal/ Custom Status Bar..
Incase you desperately want the setting, you can try MIUI ;-)
Well it's a difference if you did the thing yourself or if you want to change a HTC based feature without big hacks. I think it's pretty much impossible.
But if there is a solution, let me know - 2G/3G is missing
it is not impossible, in stock you get only a few quick settings, in custom roms (rcmixs, insertcoin) devs extended it - i want to know how, so i can remove the unneeded shortcuts.
robocik: not that easy, you should take a modded systemui.apk and a stock one, decode both with apktool and diff them, that way you will see how it is maked and will be easier for you to modify it.
this is the method, have not tried it yet though.
if any of you intrested guys tries to do this, i really apprecieate your feedback here thx.
and big thanks to robo, not only for all the amazing job he is doing for our community, but also for responding to my Q
I have rooted Desire Z with Virtuous Sence v2 Rom.
Go to
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1071118
and download Extra QuickSettings 0.2
http://www.multiupload.com/W7GXFQJN6R
Extract SystemUI.apk from zip file.
I used DroidExplorer to replace original : system/app/SystemUI.apk
with the downloaded one and have ne quick settings menu.
Is there any way to change "quick settings" with rooting?
If by "change" you mean "add/remove features in the settings list", yes, there is. Check out this thread.

It'll allow you to modify UI, lockscreen, status bar, etc.
How can I use RCTweaks to have a bliss customization.
I don't know if RC Tweaks can directly interchange between Runnymede and Bliss Rosies, but I remember seeing something of the sort in one of the rom threads. not sure though. You can, however, just flash the zips from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1318724 to interchange between them.
you can also use rctweaks to get the battery percentage instead of the battery icon....you can have both if you want.

[Q] need help with ROM Toolbox pro and changing battery icons

Hey guys,
I really need help on changing the battery icon on my galaxy s3. I jusr hate how it looks. so I downloaded a program called ROM Toolbox Pro (im sure you've heard of it), installed it and downloaded the icon pack (Circular Colourful). I installed it and none of my battery icons changed. I restarted SystemUI.apk and nothing happened. I did a reboot and nothing happened. keep in mind that iam rooted and have custom recovery. i asked a question/ made a post on the bootloop that I encountered when changing SystemUI.apk, but I fixed it. so could someone help me solve this problem?
Thanks
Nevermind, fixed: just installed previous version.

Same Problem
Hi I was just curious what you meant by previous version. I am having the same problem. I'm rooted, running a custom ROM and I was able to change my boot animation fine with Rom Toolbox Pro, but it's not changing the Battery Icons I chose.

As an option, this a very cool statusbar icon creator you use from a PC to make a flashable zip. Some of the settings need to be tweaked to assign the proper names to the pngs. for example. the signal output has to be renamed tw_stat_sys_6_level_signal_ so it replaces the proper files on our phone. I also found success using a working, flashable zip that replaces the battery icons and just replacing the images in that file with the ones i made and rezipping. Its very easy, but seems more geared toward international S3's, so thats why it needs a couple tweaks. The options for colors and styles is pretty impressive!

Long press menu to kill app?

Sorry for a potentially short thread, but is there a mod to add long-press menu to kill the app you're in? I've seen it for the S4, but I haven't found it anywhere here for the Note 2. Thx in advance
What rom are you running? Some already have this.
Ah, I'm just running deodexed stock MC2, flashed the 4-in-reboot mod, hotspot mod, etc but havent found a flashable for this yet. Do you know what file I could maybe take from a rom that has it? Or else I might be open to rom recommendations. Thanks!
Edit: looking at the mod for fhe S4, I see it is androidpolicy.jar that is replaced.... so maybe I'll try that if I can find a TW rom that has it
