OK. I flashed the wrong kernel on my new Nexus 7 (2013). My stupid, I flashed the kernel (franco) for the old Nexus 7 on the new one.
Luckily, I can still access bootloader and recovery (TWP). Now it's stuck at Google (again, I can still go to bootloader and recoery).
Where can I find the stock kernel that I can use? Or Can I flash a custom kernel?
Thank you in advance and I appreciate every comment.

Have you considered trying this which will return your Nexus 7 to its original factory settings with a stock image? I haven't used this method but it may get your tablet working again. Also, for future reference, you should always make a nandroid backup before you flash something new in case you run into problems like this.
Wiping the cache/dalvik cache usually works for me when it would hang on the boot screen after a flash.

I did it but nothing changes
Do you have a ROM installed?
Try restoring to factory settings, reflashing a ROM, and then flashing the kernel. Wipe cache/dalvik once you're done and see if that works.

Try flashing the stock rooted ROM here.
To restore to factory settings, go to "Wipe" then slide the slider at the bottom of the screen.

Thanks cyberprodigy and Username invalid for helping me.
I fixed it.
After flashing 2 custom kernels (all of them were said to be completed install) but I was stuck at Google.
So I tried to flash a stock kernel (I downloaded it from here, sorry for hotlink-ing from another forum: http://droidbasement.com/asus/razor/flo/sys-backup/jb-4.3_ota-full_n7_razor-flo.zip). I will also uploaded the stock kernel file extracted from that link in case somebody needs it but doesn't want to download the whole Stock ROM.
The file extension is .img, so for people not knowing how to flash this file, use this command
"fastboot flash boot <the file name.img>"
Thanks again.
Here is the llink to the stock kernel for N7(2013). it's 16Mb so I can't attach it.

I was running Paranoid Android 2.99.
Okay, heres what I have done. May be the worst mistake I could do, I chose /system to format in recovery after installing the custom kernel packed in the zip of Paranoid Android by extracting it separately. And now, what I get is a phone stuck in bootloop.
After this I tried the following:
Restoring a NanDroid backup of my HTC Sense, and I know it won't work because I was using Titanium KISS kernel. Now, when I want to flash a new kernel through HTC All in one toolkit, I get a <unknown error>. The kernel of Titanium required for sense is not flashing in my phone. In fact, no kernels are flashing in the phone through the toolkit.
The phone is not bricked, because the LED glows, I can go into Recovery and Bootloader mode.
Please help me, what should I do??
First of all: Are you GSM or CDMA?
Second of all (if you are GSM) YOU SHOULD NOT FLASH THE KERNEL THAT WAS PACKED INTO THE ROM! you should download the Hellboy kernel, the latest (i think it is 20121215) and flash that.
Yes, I made that mistake. I flashed the boot.img, and now I am dead! X(
I am on GSM. Any fix? Please!

well.. you missed a lot of things here
like:
boot into recovery and do:
factory reset
wipe cache
wipe dalvik cache
and then wipe system
after that, flash the rom ( you didn't stated this either).
then boot into bootloader and flash the kernel hellboy.
reboot
if this doesn't help, do the followings:
go to bootloader
flash the kernel again
go to recovery
do:
factory reset
wipe cache
wipe dalvik cache
wipe system
install rom again.
reboot
one of these two should work just fine. your phone is not bricked or unfunctional. don't worry!

Howdy y'all!
I'm currently running a 4.1.1 ROM, and would like to get on to MMuzzy's 4.2, but there are a ton of things I think I need to flash and want to make sure I get the order right. Your help will be much appreciated!
I am already using the latest version of TWRP.
I would like to flash the latest JB bootloader, and latest JB radios, but have never flashed either. Should I do these before flashing the ROM, or after? Should I do these before formatting cache? Should I format system or factory reset before flashing these, too?
I am planning to do factory reset, format cache and dalvik before flashing ROM, gapps and kernel. Do I need to do anything else to prep for flashing the ROM? Also, is it okay to flash all three at once, or should I do rom and gapps, let everything boot and restore from market, and only then flash kernel?
My main concern is the differences in file system between 4.1 and 4.2. I'm aware of the /0 subdirectory thing already, but I'd there anything else?
Thanks much!
Jamie
I wouldn't bother with the bootloader, but if you insist then you can flash the bootloader and the radios before or after. Doesn't matter.. Other than that, you do them ROM, gapps, kernel and I've done all three at once. Mmuzzy's is a good ROM. Enjoy.
First make a backup in TWRP
Factory reset
Wipe both caches
Install ROM, gapps, then kernel and reboot. (All at the sometime in that order)
I have heard its better to flash the kernel with the new ROM so just do it all in one flash.
Set everything up and let your phone sit for 15 minutes untouched and go for it.

Just a small correction; file system change would mean switching from ext4 to f2fs, for example. That's not the case.

Watch out with restoring backups. Don't restore app/system data. OP is switching major versions.

I flashed the LZ kernel over CM10.1 Wild for the Night. I'm now stuck in a bootloop. I tried flashing the patched LZ kernel, but to no avail.
Can I just go back into Clockworkmod, wipe, and install a new ROM (preferably PACman ROM) through mounting USB storage?
If not, what other options do I have?
Thanks!
Do you have a backup that you can restore?
I read that the kernel will boot loop if you wipe cache and dalvik.

I don't have a backup, but I don't really want or need one. I can get all my stuff back in like 20 minutes. I hardly ever do any gaming.
And no, I didn't wipe anything. I just installed the kernels. I've given up on trying to install the kernel, though. I just want to install a ROM.
Will it work if I just wipe and install PACman ROM or Revolt JB through CWM?
Yep
It should long as you can boot into recovery.

Alright, thanks! That's all I wanted to know. I'll post back here in a few with the results.
EDIT: Seems to have worked. Thanks!
Hello,
I have a unique issue. I'm having a problem installing any custom rom on my t999 (tmobile). I have been using a custom rom for over a year. Always used TWRP. Started with Paranoid Android and for the last few months I've been using PAC-Man (nightly) roms. I was having gps lock issues, I decided to upgrade the modem to a leaked UVUEMJC, this fixed the gps lock issue. But after the reboot, I was stuck on bootloader screen. The only way I could get the rom to work was to backup the rom, flash the system and data, and after that, the rom would work until reboot. I did this a few times until it stopped working. My efs was corrupted, IMEI missing, To recover it, I went into download mode, and noticed in red Warranty bit =1. I used odin to flashed a rooted cf 4.3 samsung touchwiz rom (root66_TMO_T999UVUEMJC). All imei/efs issues were fixed. I decided to try installing a custom rom again, PAC-Man rom, it installed just fine, all EFS/IMEI info was intact, but at reboot, I got stuck on the CM bootlogo. This happens everytime. IF I recover a backup, it gets stuck on the boot logo. I'm using TWRP v2.6.3.
Anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this issue?
Thanks!
Install TWRP 2.6.3.1. Then take a Nandroid.
Next wipe /Data. Then flash your Custom Rom. Wipe Dalvik + Cache after the Flash. Reboot and report.

2.6.3.1 TWRP? Sounds like bad flashing. Have tried "Enable md5 verification" in TWRP while restoring? Was it a complete backup from TWRP? Kernel? Modem? Boot? System?
I have not tried that but now i flash again philz via odin and try again but seems like Bootloop ,again,
Yes, complete backup from twrp and also complete backup from philz.

Before you restore
Make sure to:
1. In Philz, Wipe Data / Factory Data Reset then Clean Install a new ROM
2. Wipe Data / Factory Data Reset then Wipe Data Factory Reset
3. Wipe Cache and Dalvik's Cache
4. Flash TWRP
5. Restore BACKUP from TWRP
Try it!
