According to the Karbonn A9 thread of fonehacker they have simply flashed back the STOCK ROM to unroot the mobile..
If u need such method then its very simply, just flash the "Chinese CWMR Touch v5.5.0.4" recovery and then restore the STOCK ROM as per first post.. Then if you need your STOCK RECOVERY flash that as per instruction..

Have you done both ROOTING GUIDE for SPICE Stellar Mi-425 and GUIDE for FLASHING STOCK RECOVERY of SPICE STELLAR Mi-425.. If not do both methods.. According to theory there should be no problem in doing Factory Reset after successfully flashing both..
No there is no need to follow ROOTING WITHOUT LOSING STOCK RECOVERY for SPICE Stellar Mi-425 as you have already rooted your device.. This method is only for guys who have unrooted STOCK ROM.. Now if you have missed doing GUIDE for FLASHING STOCK RECOVERY of SPICE STELLAR Mi-425 then do that alone.. May be that would solve all your problem..

Instead of FLASHING STOCK RECOVERY of SPICE STELLAR you could FLASH CHINESE CWMR RECOVERY(for sure we will get English version as few friends are working with that).. Though it is Chinese it has advanced facilities.. Only through CWMR u could restore STOCK ROM if something goes wrong.. I have updated how to flash CWMR in same GUIDE post..

Hi all, my problem is kind of same, after trying to push the acid audio mod through adb, my q1000 is soft bricked, i can boot into recovery but the phone is stuck at xolo logo in case of a normal boot. I tried to update the stock rom of cherry mobile omega hd2 as it is almost same as xolo q1000, through the adb sideload option but the installation is getting aborted every time. Later I noticed no update is getting done via adb sideload, it is sending the files to the phone but the installation gets aborted every time. I do not have any update package in my internal memory and it wont detect the external sd card in recovery so cant flash any zip from sd as well. The adb server is detecting the phone when i am checking the "update through adb server" option in recovery as "device id.......sideload"...not as a "device". My usb debugging is not enabled, so that's probably the reason its not getting detected...not sure. I have another xolo q1000 from which i can take a nandroid backup but I am not sure how to flash it, as adb or no other "flash tools" is detecting the phone. Any suggestion from devs?? Before the soft brick i have rooted my phone so cant send it to the xolo care as the warranty is already void.
Need help asap, i really loved the white xolo.....Thanking in advance.
Edit - Had drivers problem, reinstalled everything from scratch, now the phone is getting detected in sp_flash tool, done memory and emmc test also....it is working as it should, but still no backup or stock rom available, please, is there someone who is listening to me...or "us" who are having a bootlooped xolo q1000?

Flash stock rom via SP Flash Tool
Here's what u need:
1.Proper device drivers
2.Sp Flash tools working version
3.Stock rom: http://www.needrom.com/mobile/xolo-q1000/ (have to register)
Here's working instructions...
Instructions for flashing using SP Flash Tools:
1. Install drivers for your phone using XOLO drivers.
2. Extract the Stock ROM folder.
3. Extract and open the SP Flash Tools.
4. In SP Flash Tools, click on Scatter-Loading and the program will ask you the location of the scatter loading file for your device select mt6589 scatter file.txt
5.Ceck all files.(Default is already checked)
6. Switch off your phone (Remove the battery to make sure it is switched off).
7. In Flash Tool, go to Options and Click USB Mode so that it is enabled. Click options again and then go to DA Download All > Speed and finally select High Speed.
8. Click the Download option (present on the right of Firmware > Upgrade option) and the flash tool will start looking for your phone.
9. Connect your phone now. The Flash Tool will start the flashing process, the progress of which can be viewed from a yellow progress bar at the bottom of the flash tool.
Warning 1 - Don't interrupt this process as it can potentially brick your device.
Warning 2 - Make sure no power interruption takes place. (Use a laptop to ensure this).
10. After the process completes, a green ring will appear on your device signalling that the process was successful.
11.Disconnect your phone.
Done... Enjoy...

If the backup file is corrupted then you can't restore it. But if you want stock ROM then you can get the CWM flashable ZIP file. If you need reply back.

I screwed up the original a900 rom, could not find a replacement rom so used the gionee elife rom. But sp tools is giving an error message saying that there is not enough space to copy the rom. Why is that happening?

Oh, no. I already did that. I kept experimenting and now even the bootload screen would not show up. it is simply bricked,
I tried to install chainfire 3d. I did not realize that it is not compatible with ICS. so initially my phone was simply stuck at boot load, i.e. noir logo would show up but it would go no further. then i tried using factory reset, but it didn't work. tried replacing recovery.img and preloader only, didn't work. then tried to install a gionee elife 3 rom. got this message that not enough space. Now i'm stuck
Should I take it to the service centre?

Use Carliv touch recovery port tool to create the recovery for device.
Place the recovery.img to the Carliv Port tool folder.
Select manually and then it will prepare the recovery for your device.
It can auto-flash the recovery to the device.
But if it somehow fails, you try to use the SP Flash tool to flash the Carliv Touch Recovery.
Just simply load the scatter file of your device.
Check recovery and browse to the recovery prepared by Carliv Port tool.
Then flash the recovery.
Your problem should solved now.
I recommend after this you to do backup via MTK Droid Tool and prepare it for flash tool.
Hit Thanks if I Helped U
Can u plz explain a little more how to use carliv port tool and sp flash tool.. And what is scatter file and where do i find that for my device.. Stock rom for my device is not available on the net yet..

Okay I can help u surely now.
Do you have custom recovery in your device your device?
If you dont have a custom recovery installed you will obviously need to make one and then flash it.
You need to have the recovery.img of your device.
Download Carliv Touch Recovery Port Tool (Google it).
Extract the files to desktop.
Execute the Carliv Port Tool.
Paste the recovery.img of your device to the required folder.
The port tool will then prepare recovery for your device.
Once recovery is prepared, open SP Flash Tool.
Load the scatter file of your device.
Check the recovery option and then select the recovery prepared by Carliv port tool.
And then flash the recovery.
(read a guide how to flash recovery using sp flash tool for step by step tutorial).
Once recovery is flashed, reboot to the recovery.
Install the zip you mentioned you have for your device.
Now you should be able to boot into your new android system.

Do u have Xolo Secure running, it has adb lock under settings. This adb lock will not allow to execute adb shell su on phone. Disable all functions of Xolo Secure and ADB Lock also. Your problem will be solved.

I too have same problem still no solution yet
I am not an expert but I think if you flash a rom with firmware+upgrade option in sp tools your emmc error may fix... as sometimes the partitions addresses doesn't match with the partition addresses written in recoveries...first you have to flash the stock rom and then custom recovery(for custom recovery follow techlovers reply).
PS: Do at your own risk and do with stock roms + stock recovery.. I am just giving a suggestion possibility of bricking of phone.
recovery problems
I have also same problem about that.
the twrp or clockworkmod doesn't work with kitkat preinstalled q1010i. If ur r installin new OS , try downloading the stock jellybean version and flash with sptools and after that try installing twrp or cwm. It will definitely work. Until now no one has made a kk compatibile twrp/cwm.
For Devices on with Kitkat ROM Preinstalled
