And on this site I found a mod, but not for our phone, idk if serve.
I research and try to do it myself, but nothing .. I understand nothing and be sure that eventually something easy to do why I ask. Thank you very much!
I think that was very useful function, and we all would come right. At least ami. thanks

RUU_Excalibur_WM61_Kavana_080314_WWE Keybaord mapping problem

I am using the ROM RUU_Excalibur_WM61_Kavana_080314_WWE
it is perfect except of the T9 issue in the keyboard... this is really very annoying to me, i cant type properly anymore!! i just want to disable this T9 thing for good, i want the default keyboard mapping for the WWE HTC S620
Is this possible? is there a cab file or something that can disable this T9 and end my torture? I use email a lot, and I'm just putting my HTC away and using a nokia E61 because I just cant type properly..
please help me people, I searched a lot in this forum, but nothing worked for me.. any new ideas? or is there another ROM i can use?
normally if you hold down alt and space bar you have to pick English, in my case. has to be done in a text typing area
try the search button at the top of the page...the keyboard issues with the kavana/rickwyatt roms has been brought up 10000000 times

Thanks for this. I needed this tip as well.
Please go easy on the beginners.
It is impossible to find something with keyword search unless you happen to know the exact right keywords (and not some synonyms). I know -- I'm an expert in not finding stuff
you're very welcome
Guys what about software keyborad< original Touch? can we change registry for russian? or insall some cab... I thinnk I tried cab from Dimond 2...but it didn't work
I've changed the sym.0816.txt file and replaced it in \windows!
but somehow I can't type the characters with Fn+Sym key? Am I combining the keys of the keyboard wrong??
I've done it before with Touch Pro with success! It had a physical Sym Key on the HW keyboard and TP2 has a FN+Sym... perhaps that's the problem?!?
thanks

Fn key not working in Rhodium

Hi.
I have a norwegian touch pro 2, which means my keyboard is a bit "strange"and have theese weird æøå buttons. I don't need those to work, but my Fn key, neither my ctrl key (which is placed where your Fn key is placed at the lower left) will not give me access to any Fn function keys like / ! () etc. Is this a know issue? Is there a way for me to fix this?
Ps. Thanks a lot for porting Android to TP2. Except for this and GPS all my needs are satisfied, and Android is so much better to use than WM6.5. So thanks a bunch guys, going to make a small contribution as soon as I get my first paycheck next month
