Update aborted - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

hi
my about phone looks like this:
Android version: 4.1.1
Baseband version: I9250XXLH1
Kenel version: 3.0.31-g6fb96c9
[email protected])
#1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Jun 28 11:02:39 PDT 2012
Build number: JRO03C
I got automatic update to 4.2.2, but every time i accept it gets aborted. Is it something to do with the radio? When i updated to 4.1.1 from ICS the radio was xxla2, but I was having network problems so I flashed it to the current version xxlh1.
Please help me out

I had stock ICS. Then i updated to 4.1.1 using Maguro OTA JRO03C. The radio was XXLA2. then I flashed XXLH1. Now it won't get updated. Havn't changed or done any other thing.
Do u suggest flashing XXLA2 again ? will i get my updates installed then ?

Can't update my galaxy nexus

Ive been trying to update my phone to jelly bean for months now. My phone keeps telling me i have an update and when i press it this is what i get: ( click on attachment) please help
In this case, the device doesn't have the correct baseband version installed for that specific OTA. It's looking for FD02, it seems. That's not an international bb, I'm sure of that. You need to supply more details, settings > about, carrier

[Q] Q: OTA for 4.2 fails on my Galaxy Nexus during installation why?

Hello,
I received 4.2 OTA update to upgrade my Galaxy Nexus from 4.1.2....update downloaded fine...and then performed a reboot of the device to install...during installation, it failed...received the sleeping android with the "Big Red ! triangle'. The phone restarted and the version running was still 4.1.2 ... this has happened 3 times already.
Any idea on why this happens ...and how to get it updated to 4.2 correctly??

You dont have a custom recovery installed as well, then?
How did you unlock the bootloader? (May seem like a pointless question, depending on the op's answer.)
What radio/baseband version do you have installed?

RadioBaseband version: i9250XXLA2
Build: JZO54K
I had unlocked the bootloader via the instructions on the following link - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1626895
and did a return to stock for 4.1 Jelly Bean installation. I did receive the OTA for 4.1.2 and it installed fine without any issues.

JZO54K radio is XXLF1. JRO03C was XXLA2, if i recall it correctly. Explains why no issues were found when upgrading to JRO03C.
JOP40C radio is XXLH1.

I think your baseband should be XXLF1. XXLA2 was an ICS baseband.
XXLA2:
- Standard European baseband
- Originally from the yakju ICL53F factory image and the OTA update (to 4.0.4 / IMM76D from ICL53F)

Sorry...but I still don't understand why i would need to do the manual "return to stock" again...
since my baseband is XXLA2...does that mean OTA 4.2 installtion will never work...till the baseband is updated? If i do follow the steps for return to stock manual update again (which to me is very painful since i m a n00b) ...will the baseband be updated again...?? what happens when 4.2.1 has to be upgraded...followed next yr by 4.3 or 5 (key lime pie)?
are there easy steps to just update the base band??
(pardon my questions...i m learning the hard way not to buy google devices from eBay)

IF the radio is the only issue you can fastboot flash the xxlf1 radio. You will need to follow the first few steps in bk201doesntexist's link to set up the fastboot drivers & DL the platform-tools necessary to flash your device. That post will also serve as agood example of how the fastboot utility works.

1.Yes
2.get latest ROM and extract modem file from it. There is one thread also on XDA for modem, search it.
3.It won't brick, but there is no need to update unless you having any network issue. If you have issue with existing, find latest ROM from your country and get modem from that.

How to go from Sideloaded 6.0.1 to OTA 6.0.1?

I can't find a thread on this, but for those of us that updated early, how can we flash to the official OTA? I'm guessing we have to flash backwards and then let the OTA happen naturally? What build do we flash back to? Thanks for the help!
Flash PB2 from this thread using all four files in ODIN
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3331843
OTAs should follow.

Which sideloaded build do you have? If it's BPE6, it's identical to the OTA and there's no need to do anything further. If it's BPE5, then yes use Odin to revert to APE3 in order to get the OTA of BPE6.

I'm on BPE6. I just assumed it was different than the official. If you say it's the same I'll just keep as normal. Better than wiping and restoring.
Is it worth it to go from PBE5 upto PBE6?

It is the same as long as you are on PBE6, all build numbers, dates and times etc. match up exactly with what AT&T has posted as the latest.
