Ive been trying to update my phone to jelly bean for months now. My phone keeps telling me i have an update and when i press it this is what i get: ( click on attachment) please help
In this case, the device doesn't have the correct baseband version installed for that specific OTA. It's looking for FD02, it seems. That's not an international bb, I'm sure of that. You need to supply more details, settings > about, carrier

Some background might be useful. Did the Market ever work on your phone? Did you do something recently that may have changed that?
Are you having a problem activating your Google account right out of the box? What's going on here?
i brought this off ebay there is simply no market at all, i can not install an apk and in about phone : full maguro 4.0.1 icl23d 288 test keys

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the build being signed by test keys indicate that it is not a factory build?
Can you reboot to recovery? (turn the phone off, press and hold volume_down and the power button until it comes on, scroll down with volume_down and hit power to select the recovery option). What does the recovery say?
Sounds like someone set it back to factory and didn't flash gapps

So...that means that the phone is basically useless? I have the same problem, that's why I'm asking.

Not useless, you'll have to do all the steps necessary to flash a custom rom (unlock, flash custom recovery) and download a gapps flash able, Then you'll be ready to go.

i want to update to 4.0.4 and then to 4.2.2. I have been reading quite a lot of threads but am confused as i'm downloading so many files, but nothing seems to work.
Can you please help on how to update this phone to working android version? once i get to 4.0.4, i hope i get "system updates" option in ICS, and then it should be easy for further upgrade.
Please advise.

Haha, yeah, that I know, but wasn't aware an IMM76k update was incoming for the GSM variant. Looked like fake to me but then noticed it's been posted by a regular member, so trusted it
probably at some point it will roll out also for the yakju international version
hoping for a better telephony part (signal, radio, etc), the real pain of this phone for me

I'm not OP, but as I'm korean I can assure that this is the second OTA for korean galaxy nexus(yakjukr).
(The first one was 4.0.2 update for 4.0.1 about three months ago)
So I think it's kinda weird that korean galaxy nexus got first imm76k for gsm, right after verizon).
Because there was no 4.0.3 update for korean Maybe it's compensation for slow ota before?

There was no 4.0.3 update for any Galaxy Nexus. IMM76K is likely the same codebase as IMM76I, with addtional regional things as well as different radios. I don't suspect we will see it come to yakju/takju/aosp unless there are more changes than that.

I mean there was no 4.0.4 update for korean gnex until yesterday. This is first 4.0.4 ota Long-awaited!

Would you mind re-dumping the radio please and re-posting the zip. I'm trying to create a fastboot-flashable image, but for some reason, the image you posted is a little too big (by 1.8KB).
A re-dump would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Indeed, a little too big
but re-dump, the same
Code:
# su
# cat /dev/block/mmcblk0p9 > /sdcard/radio.img
or
# cat /dev/block/platform/omap/omap_hsmmc.0/by-name/radio > /sdcard/radio.img
In the recovery, that flashed well...
What's should I do?

Hello everyone
I just bought a Galaxy Nexus from someone. I was told that the device is factory unlocked. I looked into the settings and in the build number it shows ITL41F.i9250UGKL1. My question is that, what kind of Gnex is this? Is it bought straight from Google, or from some carrier? Also, in Android version it shows 4.0.1. Now I am aware that there is 4.0.4 out but how come in system update it says I am up-to-date?
I am fairly new to Galaxy Nexus, but I have owned a Galaxy S previously. Please help me out.
Thanks.
Does it has a sim slot?

OK.
Is it rooted?
Does it have any missing apps?
What ROM are you running?
The more details the better. If you are missing apps well that is your problem. Flash a stock ROM and boom. Then update.
