Post your favorite fantasy football apps.
Bleacher Report has some good analysis and rotowire is good for keeping track of players status and updates.
And of course you need your app for whatever you use for your league.
Anyone have and good drafting apps?

I'll go ahead and state an obvious one: Yahoo! Fantasy Football. They've completely overhauled the UI, while it is much better than the previous version it's still not perfect.
So why am I telling you about this app? Well they added a pretty cool feature to this updated version - mock drafts. You're now able to participate in Yahoo's mock drafts from your phone or tablet. It's pretty sweet.
Here's the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.yahoo.mobile.client.android.fantasyfootball&hl=en
I've uses draft punk in the past, but the pro version is well worth it. It includes depth charts and allows you to customize your draft order. The depth charts did it for me. Well worth the $1.99 for me not to have to hold some papers.

I've seen any number of storm chasers on TV and many seem to be using some pretty cool weather apps with highly detailed radar -- what apps are they using?
Do any provide alerts for approaching weather and if so, can you specify a location other than where you are at the moment?
Brian
I have used this app. On my old iPhone It is called radarscope
I have not been able to find it for android. I keep holding out hope though.
I live in Oklahoma so it would really come in handy.

I would also love a high quality radar app for android....
Sent from my GT-P7510 using Tapatalk
I spoke too soon, I hadn't checked in a while. Radarscope is available in the market now, however it is $9.99. After using this app I totally think its worth it. It will show you wind velocities at different levels of the storm and its by far the best radar app.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
wow radarscope is pretty insane, may pick that up one day.
personally i'm using BeWeather. it has some pretty amazing maps, though no where near the level of radarscope. https://market.android.com/details?id=com.bellshare.beweather
I live in OKC and having a good cell phone radar is a must. It can and will save lives in the future

Radarscope is awesome - got it right when it came out for Android.
I use pykl3 on both my phone and tablet when I'm in the field. It's an incredible app, highly customizable.

I got in the beta yesterday (also gives you a extra invite on Steam to your friend). Overall a pretty smooth beta version,
having conversations with Steam friends pop out just like SMS messages although it is kind of in a 'iPhone' manner as its in bubbles. This app should definitely come in handy on it's next steam sale
http://store.steampowered.com/mobile for screenshots. Kind of silly how VALVe used Nexus One + ICS as photoshop instead of Galaxy Nexus

When I heard about this, I thought Steam was getting into the iOS and Android game business, which would be a logical train of thought. Unfortunately, it was something far less useful than that.
Just so you guys know they reached their 40k limit for the first set of invites, they said they'll be sending out more soon though
EDIT: My friend gifted me a beta key, so I guess anyone who is part of the beta can give out a key
Is there anyone who was invited and doesn't have any friends in android?

i like the app so far besides the fact the default page is 'ads' rather than avatar tab with friends and messages. and the size is rather large compared to spark360, but it works much more reliably.

I just finished reading A Game Of Thrones (all five books). Read all of them using Kindle app. Excellent series.
Just now starting Neil degrasse Tyson's Space Chronicles.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Well, I finished an audiobook called Ready Player One, by Ernest Kline (i think).
Read by Will Wheaton even.
Grea book, lots of fun
Check out "Wool" in the Kindle store, series of 5 novellas that are pretty intense.
Game of thrones had been the best series I've read in a long while. Terry pratchett takes up a huge section of my bookcase.
Swyped from my desire s running Vanilla ICE v2.0

Thanks for the suggestion. Just downloaded the series and will post thoughts later.
I read Anthony Bourdain's Kitchen Confidential as it was on sale at the Play store and I am pretty interested in cooking. Really good book, definitely recommend it if you are interested in cooking or the restaurant business in general.
Bought the Hunger Games trilogy for my wife and currently reading it now because I was curious' I'm on Catching fire right now. They are okay so far.

My first response is always Sherlock Holmes for mystery, Hound of the Baskervilles is one of the best and should be free on Google Play.
Let me stew on this for a bit, but I have heard some great things about the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy.
Edit- More horror than thriller, but I loved Horns and Heart Shaped Box, both by the amazing Joe Hill.
All of the circle series books by Ted Dekker are great. He also has another series that falls in with the circle series called The Lost Books. There's 6 of those.

I need some good books to read, I haven't read a book since Of Mice and Men and that was 3 years ago! Haven't got a clue what sort of books I'd be into since I don't read much.
Just read Gone Girl. Pretty twisted stuff.

Lol. Well, it's difficult without knowing what you like. Have you read The Hunger Games? That's a nice fast read, pretty exciting too.
Nexus 7 Used Guide is a good one for you guys to read . Jkjkjkjk
I read way too much, although some books are just that good. Anyway I don't know how old you are or what genre exactly your looking for but mystery/ thriller. Actually tell me what your looking for and in that genre do you care/like if its gory. If your looking for ya books I can recommended some. I read most genres except romance and hardcore SciFi. I'll think of some good authors. Right now its been top ten for a few months is gone girl by gillian Flynn, but her other books imo are much better like dark places . Another decent thriller that's been pretty popular lately is cj Lyons books the FBI thrillers.

Try kindle. Works very well and there are often offers. I've just read on exsellent book by Ken Follit 'Eye of a needle' which I found on the kindle store for 20p (UK). These offers tend to be 'one-offs' and disappear very soon after they appear. Search 'mostpopular'
Definitely a +1 for the Game of Thrones series (I'm halfway through the third book and it's just getting progressively better). I also strongly recommend the Hunger Games books and the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (as previously mentioned). If you like crime fiction then James Patterson's 'Alex Cross' series is a good, light, read.
Anyone have insight on when this may get resolved? Should I go back to 4.2.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
It will be resolved when app develops resolve it.
prshosting.org
Considering that the OS has been around for a bit over a week I'm amazed at how many apps ARE compatible.
If you have mission critical stuff, by all means go back to or stay with 4.2.x until the specific developer updates.
Otherwise enjoy the new OS and be patient. The good Devs are on it...
how many apps aren't compatible that you've encountered? surprisingly I haven't gotten any incompatibilities

Use Google currents and add Engadget under the science and tech section. I never used currents before, but its quite convenient once you get all your reading apps incorporated in to it.

Well worth it being without a few apps for awhile.
This is the price we pay for being the very first to get these updates. I don't mind it myself but for those that are bothered just wait for a free weeks before upgrading next time to give the app devs time to catch up.
Food anyone have the amazon store.apk? Not the app store but the app for the regular store. I think it will work but play store won't let me download.

Try Feedly instead. Same concept but MUCH better than Currents. It's so good that I now use Feedly as my go to reader for all news, tech, sports, and car sites on my phone, tablet, laptop and desktop.
