[q] can't get 4g... i flashed different modem and kernel

Hi
i'm having problem with my sgs3 att, i can't get 4g at all ( i'm only getting E). i tried everything, i flashed different modem and kernel, and not luck
i'm running CM10,
modem: I747UCLH1
kernel: 2.0.43-cyanoogenmod-g8403c62
i lost IMEI but i restored
does anyone know how to fix this ?...

The lte is off by default on cm10 you need to change your network mode to lte/gsm and choose att lte APN.

I restored my IMEI... but still cant get 4g...(still getting E)
note: now im running high on demand rom, cuz i needed touchwiz to recover my IMEI

Data signal loss

Hi! I am new on this forum and sorry if this question was before. I am from Croatia, I have Galaxy Nexus 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and I have a problem with data signal. When I go out my data signal in some areas suddenly dissapear and I need to switch airplane mode and switch it off and data signal is back. This is happenng only when I turn Edge only, when I am on 3G/2G this is not happening. This is software problem or hardver? This is very annoying and I am thinking that I will sold this phone and buy Nexus 4 or something else if this will not be solved with software update. Do I need to go on service or that I wait update for this? Thank you very much on your answer.

If I do this this problem will be fixed and I wouldn't lose my data signal? I read stickies but I don't want to play with this because I really don't know how to do this. If someone could tell me step to step how to do this i would be very happy. If it is possible i don't want to root my phone. Thank you very much.

I saw on Youtube how to put new radio. My current baseband version is I9250XXLH1. This is European version or North America? For putting new radio do I need to have a root on my phone? Now I am on stock official Rom with no root. Where can I download new radio?

Read the stickies, follow them. They have all the info you need. Baseband lists etc
Latest Europe baseband is LJ1.

Is your SIM card put in properly?
Did you pay your bill to your phone carrier?
If you did the above, do this:
1. Can you please tell us which build you are on (B125? B111? International or Chinese?)
2. And can you tell us which carrier you are with?
We need answers to 1 and 2 in order to help you.

Now you know they would not just suspend a number without a prior notice, and I think if that was the problem, he would know.

And check your phone didint lost IMEI.. Settings/Status/IMEI

He posted how you can check go to:
Settings>About Phone>Status and then check the IMEI number
or go to the phone dialer and dial:
*#06#
and see if the number is shown or post whatever output you get from that...

So IMEI is fine, flash b125 im kinda sure your problem will be fixed after that.

Are you using a locked sim ? Did you have a regional specific firmware before updating to B111 ?

Put the update.app file on a folder and name that folder dload, on your sdcard. Push power + volum up/down at once for 10 seconds.

did normal update but still no network ,arrrrrrrrrrrrrr I give up

[Q] SGH-I737M - modem issues

Hi all,
I have a Bell Canada Samsung Galaxy S3 that I can't get the modem to work on. I have Philz recovery on it and have tried a few modem files but neither the wireless or the mobile carrier works.
I have tried putting cyanogenmod on it but am back on a stock ROM at this point. I am at a bit of a loss as to what to do.
The phone boots fine, looks all normal but I just can't get on the mobile network(tried multiple SIM's).
I am really hoping you can help!

It does, it shows my IMEI with a /5 at the end.
At this point, I am running I747MVLUEMK5_I747MOYCEMK5_BMC
I also do show cellular signal but can't seem to connect. When I scan wireless networks, I pick nothing up.
Any ideas?

Is the phone blacklisted?

I don't think so, how can I verify that? I did buy it used just over a year ago and it only broke about a month ago?

You've had the phone for a while so I didn't think it would be blacklisted.
Since you have the 4.3 bootloader, you need to have a compatible modem and, from my experience, only the mk5 modem will work.
Did you use Odin to flash back to stock?

Yes, that is how I put the current stock firmware on it. I had cyanogenmod on it at one point...

I am at a loss as to why you cannot connect to a network. Which carrier do you want to connect with?

Hello i hope i can help i have to ran into this problem before and here is what i did to fix it.
Flash the modem using the dl from this forum
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2745607
also once you are done you will need the nv writer and the i747 dl froim teh same forum that will get you all fixed up i promise. Just follow the steps and ready the whole thing first. I looked for three days and finally resolved it with Larrys help

Does this also happen with a different rom?
I can only think then that is could be a baseband/radio problem

and i tried to change my baseband but still the same problem !

Is your IMEI at the back of your phone the same as you see in the phone info?
If you have conflicting IMEI numbers, you may have a grey market phone..i.e. a network locked phone that was unlocked using an hacked ROM or other method

no, i've changed it with z3x box and now just one SIM is working as i posted in screenshots

The problem is that it has been unlocked in a dogy way.
I never heard of the z3x box.
I have to go check it out and will be back later.
Looks like an interesting box.
But very dangerous if you don't know how to use it.
I see that z3x has a repair function for restore damaged imei to original only.

i don't know but imei under battery isn't the same with my phone info
i'm really started to hate it !!
