For the second: there jis indeed a tutorial that explanced how to do it.
For the first: it is not certain ATM: Alpharev didn't know that there was a 1.01.0002 hboot but they do now, they have got the bootloader file to test with and they have already stated that they want to provide support for the very latest hboots, so that includes this one as well.
Anyway, if the manage to replace the 1.01.0001, I don't see why it should not be possible for the 0002 as well. I can't imagine that the differences between the two are that big.

Maybe alpharevX is based on a exploit and 0002 fixes it, anyway downgrading from 0002 to 0001 is easy!
These kind of exploits usually work on specific versions....
There is actually no difference between 0002 and 0001 they both are same just a version difference-
0001 is made for WWE ROMS and 0002 is made for regional specific ROM like India, France etc..
If you watch the alpha rev x video on the website. You see the phone hboot go from 1.01.0002 to 1.01.0001 when the patch wad applied.

That number on there hboot is something they can choose, as they make the hboot themself (and not hack it), they can do wathever they want with it. It is already said somewhere els: they will even make it 6.01.x so that htc has to make there next bootloader version higher than 6 to "update" the alpharev hboot to there own one using an OTA.

try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1277266
just to be clear - this doesn't work
There is no S-OFF for HBOOT 1.02.0000 on the MT3GS.
In your travels you may have also found links to this encouraging post at http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1277266
I've tried this method, walked through it all, even tried some other things and generally wasted a lot of time...
So just to be clear for those searching and finding this wonderful link to a possible method... IT DOESN'T WORK.
ESPRESSO PVT SHIP S-ON
HBOOT 1.02.0000

[Q] Bravoc (Desire CDMA) running HBOOT 1.09

Hello-
I got a old Desire CDMA (PB99400 Bravoc) with US Cellular. Unfortunately it is S-ON and I want to root it. The deal is that the HBOOT version is 1.09.000 and all the tools I have found are for HBOOT 1.06.000
Does anyone know if it is possible to downgrade the HBOOT to 1.06.000? Any alternative method to root it? I want to ultimately install a costume recovery and CM 7.
Please note: No, I can't use Revolutionary with 1.09. It only works with 1.06.
Any advice will be highly appreciated.
Cheers
D
I need Hboot 1.06 too
Can anybody give a download link for it ?

[Q] HBoot downgrade (CDMA)

HTC Desire CDMA - CyanogenMode 2.3.7 Nightly - Rooted - S-On
HBoot is now 1.09 and I wanna downgrade it to 1.06 or less.
adb works. fastboot does NOT work.
So there are 3 problems. HBoot should downgrade - S-on should be S-off - fastboot doesn't work.
I have the latest HTC driver which is 11/1/13 version 2.0.7.23
Pay attention that my phone is CDMA (bravoc)
What can I do?
Somebody please answer my quesstions. I really need it.

S-OFF without Revolutionary.io

Hello dear Desire-Masters @xda-dev ,
Everywhere in Internet for Desire Bravo S-OFF process there are instructions to use revolutionary. but for some time this site is down.
if there are other possibilities to S-OFF good old Desire Bravo ?
android 2.3.3
build 3.14.405.1
hboot 1.02.0001
try http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc...-froyo-2-2-to-stock-2-1-t3187731/post62534573
solution found, but not to S-OFF, only to upgrade hboot from 1.02 to 1.03 and unlock via htcdev.com
- it really works, thanks! - see http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=1260
