press the menu button when in call and select start recording.
You'll find the recording for playback via the voice recorder app, they're stored in my documents/my recordings on your sd card

Thank you for that answer.
I followed your instructions, pressing the Menu button which is at the top doite the "Call" screen.
And I is not start recording.
I have installed your ROM ARDH 12.1
Why I have nothing?
have a look at these screenshots, might clarify things.
The menu is the 3dot button, bottom right. Press this once the call has connected to see the "start recording" option, the option will not appear until the call is connected...if you press the menu before this the option doesn't appear.
this is taken straight from ARHD 12.1 with no other modifications. If you don't see this it might be worth re-flashing and making sure you have the call record function selected in Aroma

Type "Call Recording" ( No Quotes)
Never tried, but...
Never tried it myself, but Gears seems to have come up with one way to do it.

Not neat, and not perfect, but if it works it's free!
And just like all the other apps like the OP mentioned,
They don't recored the caller unless on Speaker.
"1- First up, get your camera ready. Set it to "video" but don't press record just yet.
2- Call the person you want to record.
3- Next, press and hold the green "call" button to put them on speakerphone.
4- Now press record on the video camera."
Thread after Thread on this topic all come to the same conclusion;
It's not possible w/o speaker phone on.

hi to all...
on my arc when i receive a call .. there is only to option .
1) slide to the right to take the call
2) slide to the left to cancel the call..
but i can't see the mute option ? or any other option
is there any other option to take or cancel a call without the sliding option. just 3 buttons ! pick up call .. cancel call.. and mute
thanks in advance!
Press on-button for mute.
I'm just taking a stab in the dark here. On SE's feature-phones, we just had to press the Volume- button to mute it and/or press it twice to reject it. You could try that out and let me know.

1. Press the volume button to mute the ringing sound.
2. Go to settings --> Accessibility settings --> Power button ends call. Tick this and you can use the power button to reject the call.

I would gern create my own ring tones and have downloaded several with built-in editor. Most of them have a button labeled "Record now" and I press the button I come to the "Voice Recorder" - I make a recording, and will then automatically return to the editor, but get this message "ist er ikke kunne edit files of this type .3 ga "- how do I change my recording, so it gets recorded in a second format?
Is there another "Voice Recorder" which is better?
I previously had installed a program that is always asked if it was a ring tone, notification, I would make, and record the correct format and store the following in the correct directory on the phone, but can ikkr remember what it's called.
Help wanted
record on your computer, put on your phone and open with "music player", press the left button next to the "home" button and select "Set as" and choose "phone ringtone" (sorry if this is not the answer for your question)
Hello! I am on back-to-noot v9. I want to enable the native call recorder button that most sammy firmwares have but with automatic call recording. I don't want to press the button manually to record the call. Can someone tell me how to enable it?
Greetings everybody,
I'm using Windows 10 mobile build 15245 (latest until this day)
And I'm wondering about is there any way today that I can record calls ??
Thanks,
1)Go to Settings -> System.
2)*Go to System -> Phone.
3)*Under Default apps section, you will have a select box to choose the app you want to use to manage recorded phone calls.
4) Select Voice Recorder in that select box.
5) Once done, during voice call, you will have a record button as shown in the image below. Tap that record button to start recording.
6) After the call is over, go to Recorded Calls menu under Phone app to see the list of recorded calls.
7) Tap any of the recorded calls for playback. You can even trim it and share it with others.
Note: This call recording feature is available only for devices that come with Windows 10 Mobile pre-installed. But, Microsoft may enable it for Windows Phone devices in the future.
jjoeshua, unfortunately it doesn't exist.
I have Lumia 640xl
Recorded Calls = only Lumia 550, 650, 950, 950XL.

I dont know a better way.
That's an example of why Windows Phone sucks and it's a complete garbage.
Just 1 example.
