Is there any program to record calls for HTC TyTN especially. The Resco, Vito and etc. don't record the voice of caller. PM Recorder also,..
There must be the different technology.

Type "Call Recording" ( No Quotes)
Never tried, but...
Never tried it myself, but Gears seems to have come up with one way to do it.

Not neat, and not perfect, but if it works it's free!
And just like all the other apps like the OP mentioned,
They don't recored the caller unless on Speaker.
"1- First up, get your camera ready. Set it to "video" but don't press record just yet.
2- Call the person you want to record.
3- Next, press and hold the green "call" button to put them on speakerphone.
4- Now press record on the video camera."
Thread after Thread on this topic all come to the same conclusion;
It's not possible w/o speaker phone on.

Anyone know of a registry tweak to have the speakerphone set to a default on position? It is a PITA to always have to press that button and when retrieving voicemail you first have to hide the keypad and then turn it on. I know it's petty...but it should be added to one of the tweak programs as an option under the phone tab...and I've searched this many times but came up with nada.
Vito Audio Notes has a feature that you can set to have Speaker Phone Initiate on every call, both incoming & outgoing.
I'm thinking of buying it for the recording feature.

Thanks, I'll look into it. I hope it's free.

Have you tried this?:
"answer with speakerphone by holding down the send button (button with the green phone icon on it) for a couple of seconds when answering the call. Likewise to toggle speakerphone on and off, simply hold down the send button for 2-3 seconds while in a call."

Yes, I do answer the phone that way some of the time. I don't always remember that shortcut but that's my fault. I still would like to just be able to default to speakerphone on and toggle it off when I need privacy.
This is how I found the above, I typed 'answer speaker phone'.

btw, Vito isn't free.
However, it has to be making some kinda behind the scenes change, for it to have all calls be answered by speaker phone.
Maybe it's just making a simple reg edit.
I guess another option is to figure out what that change is.
You could ask Vito, maybe he would tell you.

Hi,
I've got a quick question regarding the Video Call Hardware Button (the one above the green call button). It seems not to be enabled in Starbase's ROM. I am sure it worked with Schaps ROM. Unfortunately the green hw-button seems to be broken on my device and so I'd like to enable the video call button instead.
Is there a possibility to enable the button with a reg-hack?
Thank you.
There may be a registry method.
I found that it was basically rom-dependant, on whether or not the rom had, and its default dialer skin had, video call. So in a rom with a dialer skin with no video function, the video call button did't work, although you could still make video calls after installing another dialer skin.
During a phone call the action you need to do to record the audio will be to temporarily remove the pennino.Non everyone may be aware that in this way activates the "NOTES" WM. Another way may be to click on the button pad "NOTE" '.
When the 'known' to the screen you will see lines with 'caller', 'society', 'telephone num', 'Notes' ...
Now you click on 'Menu' at the bottom right and in the drop-down menu click on the first page or 'Show registration bar ...'
A bar with a record rec button in red, then stop, play to finish with the volume button (last on the right). While calling and then click on the red rec button and start recording the phone call!
When you want then simply click the stop button to end recording x! To appreciate the whole do not have to do other than click on simbolino sound that you will have to close on the note "Note." To go instead to retrieve your records do not have to let go on the program ke NOTE, in this program. From there you can also set the target memory on which the audio file will be recorded (from Menu> Options> Save in).
Too much work dude. Just intall Vito Audio Notes Touch, and check "Calls Autorecord" option in the setting.
Once done, just use your phone the normal work with no added step at all. It will record without you realising it, and automatically label the came of the other person called, data and time of call.
No tweaks involved. Both sides of the conversation are clear, although the other side is slightly softer. Need not turn on the speaker.

Please note that this works (and pls correct me if I'm wrong) on 1.19 ROMs and their derivatives only. Recordings with 1.14 ROMs (like mine..) suffer from a terrible quality issue from the other side of the call.
I don't want to upgrade yet, because this is the only issue that bothers me and I don't want to take any risks.
Please help... I really need to record my phone call in 2 ways incoming call and outgoing call..for the archive..plz...any one can help me???
I am using Sony erricson Xperia X1, I'v tried using the 3th party software llike resco audio recorder and bla bla...but still the caller sound hv very low volume.. almost silent
If you are feeling brave you could check on some of the other device forums. There was a fix for the Kaiser to record both sides of the conversation, but it was for the Kaiser. So it may cause unwanted side effects on the Xperia, up to and including hard-resetting. I considered putting it on mine, but it isn't important to me, and hard-resetting would be a pain for me.
though I don't have any personal experience with it:
did you already try voice recorder? find one dl and a little info here
hope that helps some
You can open notes while in call and hit the 'record' button. It will record the call in the note; I'm not sure how the quality is, however.
thx for the respond... btw i'v tried it out and result the same volume way too low...almost not here the caller voice
you need to put the phone on the speaker to record both sides.. it is the only way it works for me on my xperia using resco audio notes. I need to switch it to the speaker to record..
I am using both Resco and Vito recorder program, my experiences is when I use an earphone, two-way call conversation can be recorded clearly. Even though
put it into "speaker" mode will do the same, but you
know in some situation it is not that convenient to proceed
call conversation under speaker mode.
I am using a cab name ACR V1.5, seems (Auto call record) and its working perfect on my xperia, it can record both side conversation , either in MP3 or WAV format. Some call recording have low voice from other end, but I think that involves call quality too.
I don't remember where I got this cab, as its not a purchased/legal software, so I can't attach here, but if some one wanna give it a try, send me PM and I will reply with cab file.
if there anyone have the solution for the crystal clear call recording in 2 way? plz help...
especially for Xperia X1
If you find a solution, dont forget to share it with us, because I also couldn't find any solution for this
Hi all !!!
I've been looking for some time for a fake call location or something similar for windows mobile.
The aim is to be able to share a sound during a call, such as an .mp3, .amr... And beeing able to start the playing at the beggining of the call as well as during the call. It seems the app already existes for iphone but none for windows phone.
Could anyone help me get this kind of app.
Thanks
May the force be with you
Does anyone knows how to do such an app, or am i the only one seeing a use in it?
Hi again,
I'm thinking of adding more to this, such as a phone answering recorder. It would mute both mic and speacker, while giving a recorded message of your own to the caller and record his answer.
It could also be usefull to be able to start it during a call. If you want to say hi to someone but don't have the time to chat.
So basicly, the app would be able to:
-share a sound during a conversation or at the beggining
-start a phone recorder during or at the beggining of a conversation (muting mic and speaker while sharing a sound and recording)
Does anyone would have time to do such an app?
Thanks
eh?
Like when you start talking with somebody on the phone, they can maybe hear a train whistle, giving them the idea that you are near a railway station?
Or a car horn so that you can fool your girlfriend in to thinking that you are in the car when you are actually in bed with another girlfriend?
Yes, that's about the idea.
You could also use it some other ways. Like make listen the caller a vocal message you had recorded earlyer on your phone.
PS: i am not responsible for what you do with your girlfrind...
This is how i would see the design.
The Record msg button would play a pre-recorded message and record the answer from the caller and create a .arm file.
The Record call should record the call and create a .arm file.
The play sound should open a quick menu to choose a sound from a folder predefined (My Documents for exemple)
I hope someone is willing to do such an app.
Cheers
Chewee
I have found an old app for WM2003 which does about what i need (playing a background sound during a call).
GotTaGo
Could anyone make something new on WM6.5 ?
Cheers
