phone is dead - HTC One VX

So I went to sleep last night and my phone had low battery and when I woke up this morning I noticed it had no charge, no biggie I plugged it in to give it some charge. I just left it there for like 15min and when I came back to turn it on BAM it wasn't charging and it won't charge. I have it plugged in to the laptop right now and nothing. What happened? Any ideas? I have already tried a different charger and yes they do work they have no problem charging other phones.

Sry I didint see u tried laptop usb. Now try diff battery same phone.

Battery isn't removable, well I think you can with some ridiculously small tool but I don't know anybody with this phone.

try different power outlet
Use testers to confirm power
See you can get into recovery to download mode
removing and reinstalling battery must be easy if removable battery
Take to service center if you are under warranty
Under curiosity what phone model you have?

HTC One VX and nope can't get into download mode or anything the phone doesn't do anything.

Try leaving it over night Charging using outlet

Overcharging will cause battery issues in long run. But advisable in this case alone.

Now days chargers or the phone stop sending power when the battery full.. Just enough to keep it full. Keeping it on a charger is fine.

Can you name any models? Is it charger feature or phone feature or combined?
What about wireless chargers same principle?

Just about every phone has it now. Its a very basic concept. the phone just stops taking in power after it is full charged. ever notice how your phone gets warm when its charging? charge it to 100%, leave it be for a while, come back and feel it, it will be room temp.

Agreed is it documented? If no why? If yes fine.

I hated my note 1 because it made all those new phones look so tiny and unusable for me, now the note 2 is rising the bar again with its monster battery
Now when I see people getting 3h of screen on time with 0% brightness makes me feel sad for them, my note 2 can give me 6h+ of screen on time with 100% brightness all day long

Phone Games vs Phone Life

Everytime I end up settling into a mobile game I end up playing it for at least an hour or two and I was just wondering; Would such use would be damaging to the overall life of my phone?

The only thing I can think of is wear and tear on the hardware buttons if you use them.

I posted something similar a few months ago. I had mine that I bought that worked with my s2 and gnex and didn't work with this either. I was told it had something to do with the number of pins that's different.

How can i tell what charger is correct?
I mean, not all charger for the smarthphones operate at 110-220V and has 500mA to up? I though that a higher amp --> less time to charged
Pc is unable to detect it ...
