did it , still having the problem ?? but can note 2 use others charger or it need to use the original charger ?
HElp anyone , can i use the old lg or htc charger on this phone ?
Maybe LG uses somekind of a different port. I know it fits but it can be something different. Just buy a cable of eBay. They're really cheap.

What kernel and Rom u using??
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
sounds like your phone thinks its charging from a usb and not ac when its charging from the mains open settings > power
under battery status it will say either not charging, charging (usb) or charging (AC).
if its saying usb then there is something wrong with the cable thats stopping it from showing s an AC adapter.

Have you tried a different adapter?
The cables could be fine, but your adapter/plug is defected.
Also, do as treebill said. Try checking in which mode (USB/AC/Not charging) your phone is recognizing as being charged.

YES i test 3 adapter
I have exactly the same problem, I'm using official usb cable and adapter. I had tried other cables and adapters but same thing. My One X is not unlocked or rooted, and I'm with the last official rom 2.17.401.2 but it was happened and with previous rom 1.27.401.11. Even with switch off phone charging is very slow I try to restore my phone but nothing at all. Sometimes it's charge like it should but most of the time it's slow. Any suggestions or I have to go straight to repair center?

Ok.
Li ion batteries take 3-4 hours to charge. If its taking longer, there is huge current draw from the phone. Or, as you say, "no".
help me...
Are you REALLY sure your chargers aren't messed up?
I f**ed up the charger given with my One X(details below) and after that, my charger would only give me usb power instead of ac. I've been using this charger bundled with my Samsung P2 mp3 player that I got 4 years back.
We had gone on a trip where the room's fan rotation knob was missing, so the only thing I saw fit to change fan speed was fitting that tiny pin from the fan regulator in my AC Adapters usb port, which messed it up. Retarded I know, story of my life... -_-
Hey there, I faced the same problem. Having a blackberry Bold3, I tried recharging my OneX with the charger that came with it. BB charger charges my OneX WAY FASTER than the HTC charger that came with the phone. (1hour max for full charge) And battery holds an entire day too.
no one??
If you haven't rooted nor unlocked, and your phone was charging perfectly before, then I don't think it's a software issue.
It's either your charger or cable. If you have tried a different charger/cable that works well with other phones, then I guess you need to have your phone looked at.
Good luck

This is a relief. Mine took 3 hours to charge from 0 to 100 , I thought that there's something with it.

Does it show Charging (AC) or Charging (USB) under settings > Battery ?
Use the original charger and cable all others are slower

Hi,
for some time my phone didn't charge any more and didn't react to usb connections(that means there is the charging symbol in the status bar, but it doesn't charge and on the lockscreen is no loger the 'charging _%.') :crying:
it is rooted with galaxynote2root
Re: [Q] Samsung Galaxy Note II doesn't charge
I had this problem, it was a mainboard issue. New mainboard was required. I was also rooted and had a custom rom, but used triangle away and odin to return to stock for warranty.
There is a thread on here somewhere about this issue, you're not the only one.

Usb port is sweet
I think that that microusb is fragile by default. but this is also easy to connect and disconnect.
I had to squeeze the connector to get stronger to connect properly with the pins.
sorry for my english.-

Hello,
Following problem occurring now with i think every ROM i've used!
Charging normally with my official Sony USB cable into a wall charger of 2A.
And when it's charging, the touchscreen just doesn't respond as it should be, i make more mistakes, and inaccurate typing then when im not charging.
And the behavior of long pressing buttons will completely freak the phone out.
Anyone know a solution, or recognize the symptoms?
I appreciate you reading this, and perhaps answering on this.
Thx!
This is normally to do with the wall plug itself. When I put in a cheap copy charger it does the same. I press the T button and end up getting a Y for example. I have a wall extension plug which has usb outputs on there. When I use a cable on that to charge my phone it does the exact same. I tested with my nexus 7 charger and works fine with sony cable and asus cable. Best to probably get the original Sony wall plug.

I use the original accessories and I don't have such problem... Maybe it's your phone.

Yeah, ive tried almost every rom on here i think, but seem to happen on all the roms, now back on fxp234 again.
The issue is really annoying, and i dont think martinko23 and i are the only one who are noticing it.
change the plug socket you're plugging into. it's bad earthing somewhere
while charging plug the hdmi into your tv and see if the problem still happens

Are you using the same cable that came with it as well? Some cables can be data only, not power. I've had issues with other cables not drawing the same power from my wall charger as the one that came with my tablet. Some one else raised this issue a week or so ago. There were apps suggested in that post that could tell you the power draw the tablet was getting from the power source it was connected to. Cant remember it off hand though

hi, i m a new user of samsung galaxy note 3 neo....Recently my device keep restarting while in charging.... can i know what is this happen? any solution on it... i juz did a factory reset.... non of them works...... thanks
Use your warranty
What charger r u using? Try changing the charger. If it's only restarting when being charged then issue MIGHT be with the charger

same issue
I've purchased galaxy note 3 neo yesterday.
This phone always restarting if charged with original samsung galaxy note 3 neo charger ( output 2A ), but when i charge with another samsung charger ( output 0,7A) its will be normal.
Does anyone know what happen? Thanks
I think the problem is with your charger and not the phone perhaps. Hence you won't be able to use your warranty for the charger. You might have to buy a new charger with the same output. But first try charging it with a 2 amp charger and then buy it.
