[Q] One V rom Problem - HTC One V

Hi guys,
I recently attempted to flash a rom (PACman found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1948034) to my Virgin Mobile HTC one V and I am having some problems with it.
When my phone reboots (from TWRP 2.3.3.0) it gets to the white HTC screen (With the red letters under the logo) and goes to the PACman bootscreen. Then the rom starts and I am able to use the rom for about 1 minute. Then it reboots and the process repeats.
I have successfully flashed the boot.img. The only problem I can see is that I was unable to factory reset it. (It would say it failed).
Thanks for any help.

This sounds like a problem with your Radio/HBOOT. Is it up to date? I'd recommend going back to stock with bootloader locked stock recovery stock boot etc and checking for updates. It could also be a kernel issue with Radio and HBOOT.

I have hboot version 1.57 and as far as I can see, that is the latest.
When attempting to factory reset, the error shown is
"E: Unable to mount `/sd-ext`
I dont know what to do to fix that
May it be a problem with the rom itself?

It's not a rom issue It's just your custom recovery trying to wipe a partition on your sd card that does not exist. Please downgrade your recovery if you wish to stop setting this message

Also the boot.img inside that Rom is not compatible with your radio

I have the same hboot and get the same error every time I flash. What is your radio and what kernel are you flashing?

The failure your talking about is normal, and is actually a good thing. Try and find pacman ROM version 19.3 as far as I know that is the most stable version and it's no longer being developed. I would recommend trying CyanogenMod also, 10.1 is the current version. I'm running the June 12th release and it works great

Then don't worry, boot into recovery, do a factory reset, mount usb storage and copy the rom you want to the sd card, install the rom and then install kernel

Possible fix

Hey I have aqquired the old radio.img for primoc and the old hboot.nb0 so they can be used to downgrade after virgin mobile recent ota update but how do I flash these?
Not positive bit I think you put them on your sd card and name them PK7xxx whatever your bootloader shows it's looking for every time you boot into it... P.S. would you be ok with going back to stock with the updated radio and updated hboot? Because if you have a Nand backup of your stock OTA..... I have the
boot.img you can flash

stock OTA boot.img
Deleted... Something funny is going on with my drop box account
By the way the possible fix did not work. I tried the rename the rom.zip to PK76IMG.zip and apply to root of sd card. Everything seemed to be going good it loaded the Rom and everything checked good and THEN it cancelled and said HBOOT to high. The end.

Does anyone have a recovery image made after latest OTA?

Hey everybody,
First off a few weeks ago I recieved the latest OTA update installed it and didn't think anything of it. Anyways recently I tried putting on a custom ROM and finally start messing around with my device. Apperantly though the latest OTA update has updated my hboot and radio version making it incompatible with all custom roms at this point, I think people are working on a fix, but I don't I don't know when or if that will come to light.
Anyways stupid me didn't make a backup because I didn't think I'd need it. I played around with my last two android phones (not htc and much easier to modify IMO) and never went back to stock. Anyways my question is, is does anyone have a stock recovery image made after the last OTA update? I'm assuming I could flash that and my phone would work? Or maybe I'm misunderstanding what I really need and someone could help me at least get my phone working again? I appreciate any help I can get, thanks for reading guys.
EDIT: Oh and I forgot to mention, I'm on virgin mobile in the US.
You need to ruu, find the right ruu for your phone and do it. It will downgrade your hboot so you will be able to install whatever you like

I don't want to say your wrong because I'm new at this, so forgive me If I'm just ignoran t , but I don't think that will work for me because I've already tried using the RUU and flashing it manually and it keeps telling me,
Hboot version is older!
Update Fail!
Press <POWER> to reboot.
It doesn't seem to be allowing me to flash a RUU with a older version of hboot, or I could be wrong but I don't know what I'd do differently this time.

That is true. You don't need to revert the radio. You need to install a stock kernel.

To clarify. Most if the custom roms include a sick or jmz kernel. These boot loop with the new radio. If you fastboot flash a stock kernel and a sense based Rom you will be ok.

Lol thank you for making me notice, kinda forgot the link
I think it won't let you run the ruu because you are dev unlocked. When you open the ruu exe file leave it on the welcome screen then search your computer for Rom.zip (it will be in a temp folder with a long name.) Grab the recovery.Img (or signed_recovery.IMG whatever its called) flash this on your phone via fastboot (fastboot flash recovery signed_recovery.IMG) now type fastboot oem lock. That will relock your bootloader. I think the phone turns off after that. Put it back in fastboot then type fastboot oem rebootRUU. Now run the ruu. I take no credit for this ill post the thread link when I find it

GT-I9192I ( I9192iXXU1AOB1) Android 4.4.4 unable to install TWRP or CWM

Hi Guys,
tomorrow is a holiday, my stock Rom is using 95% of my 1,5 GB RAM, so I decided to install cyanogenmod 13 on my GT-I9192I.
- Yes ist the Version with 4 CPU Cores and Android 4.4.4 -
I searched the web, read a lot of posts about what to do.
So my plan was first to install a Recovery Boot Loader like TWRP or CWM.
After Reading 3, 4 Howtos i felt ready to start. ( Of Course I made a backup of all my data on the Phone! )
Downloaded Odin and the recovery.zip - flashing so far everying fine.
BUT I am unable to boot into my custom Bootloader. Volume Up + Power always start the Stock Rom Bootloader.
After trying lot of different Versions
recovery-clockwork-6.0.4.6-serranodsub.tar or
recovery-clockwork-6.0.5.1-serranodsdd.tar or
CF-Auto-Root-serranods-serranodsxx-gti9192
I am now at the point where I don't know how to continue.
My plan was first to do a Backup from my rom, after I got an Bootloader installed, but it's not working.
The good thing - my Phone still works . So I used Kingroot to root my Phone and installed ROM Manager.
He says: Clockworkmod Recovery already installed and TWRP also installed - but I can't boot it.

If I say " Create a Backup of the current ROM" the Device Reboots but in the Stock Loader.
What a I doing wrong? Attached some Photos:
