So I plugged my phone (R800x) in last night to charge it. When I woke the next morning it was dead, the green light was off though it was still plugged in. I held down the power button and I got the short vibrate but nothing after that, if I continue to hold down the power button it just repeats the short vibrate. I replaced the battery with one that was fully charged and same result. Now when I plug it in to the charger the green light has short fast flashes. When I plug it into my pc I get a steady green light and it comes up as a S1 boot device. Now the bootloader is unlocked and it's rooted, no custom rom or kernel was installed. My question is, is it bricked some how, or did it just die on me? I took it into the VZW store and they are sending me a new one, but I would prefer to keep this one as the BL was already unlocked on it.
Also I tried to put it in fastboot mode but only get the green light, not a blue light.
Bootloader unlocked and you set the to automatic update. I think a flashtool might fix it..

Hi Guys,
When I try to turn on my Kindle Fire lately the power button is green for a few seconds and then it goes from bright orange to dull orange and just sits there, has anyone else run into this problem? I can't do anything it it as I can't even get it to boot up? Have I just drained the battery and need to let it charge or am I screwed?
Thanks in advance.
post a video of what happens or pm a link to me so I can see what it does could be a dead battery or something else

Thanks for the reply unfortunately now while on that black screen and i tried to hold the power + volume it doesnt do anything and it doesnt vibrate. If I leave it like that would the battery be drained and if the battery gets drained can i go to flash mode?
may be battery already drained...
and why did it stuck first time?
if it does not do anything at all and does not recognize on pc just leave it on charger for 12hours or so and than try to flash

For some reason. My phone would not find my external memory card. So I decided to go into TWRP to (I believe its called format)
the card (lose everything on it)
Well. Both attempts failed, So I clicked on Reboot phone and now my phone will not turn on what so ever. Nothing will show up. If I plug it into a computer the computer will find it, but the phone screen will not show anything
Damn it all!!!!
Any ideas?
Can you flash stock firmware back?
did you change your DPI or mess with the build.prop?
just reread your post, if you can, reflash the stock rom since you can't turn it on.

I was able to get to a PC. My issue is I cannot tell if the phone is in download mode. Again the phone doesn't turn on. But if I plug it to a computer. The computer does see it.

Not working. For some reasons anytime I donwload the drivers it say they are installed yet when I plug my phone in it says that I have to troubleshoot and its unable to find the drivers. (restarted pc etc)
Again when I hold the Vol up button and plug my phone in. You hear the computer find something, but the screen doesn't turn on what so ever. (Doesn't say download mode etc)

OK cause I was bored I did what you did. My only thing is I removed my external SD card just in case. Added all the xposed junk most do and set my DPI at first to 530. Phone did not like. So went with 540 phone was OK so it seems. Went and installed no used SD card and went into recovery and did what u said u did. Phone went dark after tying reboot. DPI definitely was the issue. I am guess you had urs set to 530 or 540. Downloaded lg flashtool. Stock firmware. Pulled battery and what not when I hold power it would vib but no screen. Pulled battery held vol up as I plug in. Heard computer make noises and search for drivers. Opened lg tool and followed the rest of video . took a bit but phone is back to stock. Rerooted and flashed my backup all good. You sure you followed his video. Many people have used it and worked perfect.

That's the problem. When changing dpi u need to use a app. A friend got into a bootloop for doing that. But he was able to fix it.

What would changing the DPI have to do with the phone not booting? Not saying anyone is wrong but I've had my share of phones and I've never heard of anything like that? I'm using 570 as my DPI with no issues at all. I've used both an app to change it and manually doing it. I'm definitely interested if that is actually what caused the issue.
I am not rooted, no custom rom installed. I was just using FACEBOOK and my phone's screen went black but my music was still playing in the background then all of a sudden it vibrated and turned off. Now it won't turn on again! it had 95% batter so I have no idea what the hell happened. It does not respond on my charger, does not turn on or vibrate. I plugged it on my PC and it only shows "MOOREFIELD NO DRIVERS AVAILABLE" help me
Have you tried to get to the bootloader?

How do I do that? I tried long press power button + volume up nothing happens.
If you get no response at all pushing power while holding volume up it sounds to me like it is warranty return time, is there a service center near you?

I can't phone won't respond to volume up + power button it won't do anything. It crapped itself while I was on Facebook. The only thing I can do now is plug it on my PC with the "MOOREFIELD NO DRIVER DETECTED" on my monitor screen.
I am disappointed with the quality with ASUS. I like their PC parts but their smartphones now are utter rubbish. My god
1.Turn off your Zenfone 2
2.Hold Power button + Volume up
3.When the phone is vibrating release power button
4.You can select Normal Boot or recovery Boot by pressingVolume up/volume down. To enter recovery choose recovery mode
5.Then You will see sleep android robot, Press Power button + Volume down, release only volume down button and press volume up button. You'll enter recovery mode
6. Select wipe cache partition by volume down button and press power button
7. It'll take some time
8. Then select system reboot
Its hard bricked (non responsive), not soft bricked. Warranty time
