Games crashing without wifi or with airplane mode on

So I tried asking this on many threads but not many people seem to want to help, so I thought I'd just make a new thread about it.
Running ICS official rom, some games like where's my water and radiant HD just FC as soon as you start them ONLY if you're not connected to the internet or if you have airplane mode activated, yet they work perfectly fine with a connection.
Can anybody try this and see if it happens to you too, or if anybody knows how to fix it or any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks

This is happening to me too.
Although I have a Galaxy Tab2 7.0 ICS
It might be ICS that may be doing the force closing.
I too, am hoping that there is a solution here online.
Yeah it is indeed very annoying, especially when you want to play that specific game on a long trip and you don't have internet.

Post in this thread about the issue with Where's My Water. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1469284
Temple Run is also another game that will not run without an active connection. When I go to Settings, data usage, I see the game has used some data.
For some reason, temple run seems to work with me without an internet connection, weird.

Modern Combat 3 not compatible with the Ion?

As the title says. Bug or do you think the game just needs an update since the Ion just came out in America?
What makes you say it's not compatible? I was just able to download it fine. Downloading the required files upon initial launch now. I'll let you know if it starts up okay.
Usually with Gameloft games when you start the game up it brings you to the screen to download the SD data, for me it says that it's not compatible and to ask for a refund. I had this game running perfect on an HD2, I don't understand what's going on with this...
Working fine for me. Did you get it through Google Play or the GL store?

Play Store
You think since I bought the game originally for my LG Nitro has anything to do with it? Could I get your SD data and see if that does anything?
When you went to the play store it said purchased right? Didn't have to rebuy it? I had previously bought it for my Xperia Play so I don't think that's an issue. Did you try rebooting after it initially installed before doing the data download?

Yep and no, I'll uninstall and see if that works.
Still no luck -.-
No idea WTF I did but I somehow got it working, downloading the SD data now!

Sweet glad it's working or you.
Something is wonky with game installs on the Ion .
I had a very similar issue with NBA Jam.
I downloaded from the Market. Tried to Launch and the Ion gave me an error message, then force closed.
I uninstalled, then dowloaded again, now it's fine.

[Q] How make Nexus is on wifi when connected to Mobile Data

Hey guys! I was wondering if there is a way to trick my phone into thinking it is on wifi when really it is on 3G. I really want to play N.O.V.A. 3 multiplayer, and my wifi sucks. I have googled, and googled, and googled, and can't get anything to work.
Any ideas?
Thank you!

I guess, make a shortcut for airplane mode.
Is there an option in the games settings for allowing play on mobile data? That's what I've always found.
Pink pony Gs2 i777
Pure Google Gnex i9250
Pink stallion Gs3 i747
Stock tweaked Asus tf201
No there is not a setting to play games over mobile data.
Make a shortcut for airplane mode? Could you explain yourself further what you mean?

Puzzle and Dragons

So, anybody playing this game? I simply can't get it to work on my HOX even though most users on the internet says it works for the HOX. It only starts for a brief moment then crashes. Anybody can try it and confirm if the problem is on my end?

Hey man, are you rooted? I read something online about if you're rooted then it will fail the checks thus making it crash back to your homescreen on startup

Modern Combat 4 issue

Game was on sale for one dollar so I got it, download and installation went fine, but couldn't play, black screen with gameloft loading circle and it just keeps flashing and crashing. Any help? Purchased from Google play store and reviews say the same thing.

I also bought it for a dollar.. mine working absolutely fine..have u tried rebooting.. and I think for the first time it needs a net connection... if it still doesnt work ..then I think maybe some dile got corrupted while downlaoding.. uninstall and re install again
I don't what system language you use. Try changing system language to English and then run the game. It worked for me.
