Does anyone plan on trying to port the Firefox OS to our Note II's or the GSIII perhaps? I'd be interested to see what it's like.

I recently came across this thread on the TF300T forums

and i was wondering if it was possible to get a port for the Note 2. I am not a dev but i was wondering what it would involve to get a working port.
So far we only have Android on the Note2 and Ubuntu phone OS is still very far off. So this would be seem like a possible option to get Linux sooner on this device.
Thoughts and Contributions are very much welcome.

As android also based on linux.... So for dev it is easy to port this to our note 2
Essentially I would expect them to use the same kernel if not the Linux use a modified android kernel.
Hope the devs get interested in this. Would be great to have the best of both worlds on one device.
Hello. I have basically been trying to find out whether Cynogenmod 10.1 on 4.2 has any supported functionality for multitasking various apps? I have been hunting and have been reading about cornerstone but am not entirely sure. If anybody could point me in the correct direction, I would be very grateful.
No. Corner stone is very buggy and hasn't seen any real development in awhile.

Hello, as the title says there's some way to install Remix OS on this product? I would love to use my old tablet with this OS cause I really need a portable android/pc for university and I would like to save some money instead of buying a new one just for that!
Ty so much guys and I love your work, it's amazing! :good:
EDIT: Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 (gt-p5200) LOL wrong
Hi everyone,
I got a Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 3G Version (mondrian3g) for a long time, first it's powerful processor ran some great applications and games, but now, the android system that been changed by Samsung Touchwiz slowed down the processor speed, and I cannot customize it. I saw T320 and T325 roms all over the forum, only rom for T321 I found is the mondrian3gX rom. Now i'm using that rom, but I still want more original android system with faster experience. Can anyone port or build Cyanogenmod or Lineage OS for Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 3G version SM-T321? If anyone can help me, a lot of thanks.
Hello everyone,
This is my first ever thread on XDA. I have two Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Neo (SM-T111). The thing is, the tablet slows down a LOT due to the 768MB of RAM and a REALLY SLOW processor. Currently, there are no custom roms for this tablet. I do not like Dr. Ketan's custom rom. I want a fresh, clean version of Android. I was patiently waiting for a group who tried making an Unofficial Lineage OS rom for the SM-T111, but it failed. The tablet has Android 4.2.2 (Jellybean) and it has too much bloatware. Also, the Samsung TouchWiz UI is NOT optimized at all for this tablet. Despite the tablet's screen resolution being 540p, Samsung decided to make all the wallpapers and icons close to 1080p. The TouchWiz UI seems to be really bogging down this tablet. I decided to at least remove the bloatware, wallpapers, ringtones, etc., but the rom is really hard to deal with. Can someone PLEASE help to create an Unofficial or Official version of LineAge OS? I really need it. I have owned both tablets for over 8 years. PLEASE HELP :crying:
