Hi guys, I am having a tough time deciding between Note 4 Developer Edition and the Pure Android Experience known as the Nexus 6. They both have their pros and cons but I am leaning towards the Note 4 if I can get a understanding of the future of Note 4 roms. Touchwiz bloat is on my hit list and the main reason why I cannot currently pull the trigger on the Note 4. I have had a Gnex since it was released and am sooo ready to move on but I loves me some pure Android and touchwiz is about as far off of pure android as they come.
So, do roms of the Note 4's future offer a pure Android experience with some of better features of the stylus and touchwiz thrown in? Or once you go touchwiz you are stuck with it?
If you guys are to tell me that soon, a awesome, mostly pure Lolipop rom will grace the Note 4 I can and will cancel my Nexus 6 Pre-Order so help me understand the future of the Note 4!

I was having this same internal debate a few days ago. I own the note 3 and now the 4. I lone the screen size on the N6 but for me to spend that much money on a phone I need more. I don't like touchwiz but I love the functionality of the note series. I can always get a pure experience like on my N7 but for my phone I want some added benefits. When the custom ROMs start to roll out you can always get a pure android ROM.
^^ So do the custom pure roms on the Note 3 offer stylus functionality? and to be clear, does a pure custom rom hold a candle to a pure Nexus experience?
Looking for a rom with S7 apps and menus (so it looks like a Galaxy S7 Rom)but with the latest Android 5.0/6.0.I have CyanogenMod 5.0 on it but don't like it.
I might have to make one if there is not one,yep made roms a long time ago..
The Lineage OS is just getting out, and since A (2016) series phones really need a stock android based ROM, it would be very nice to see some developers working for this beautiful device as well. Given how popular this phone is, i think it's a shame there's no stock android ROM for it. We beg you developers, TouchWiz is really annoying!

Is it possible to create a (modified) S8 rom to port it to the S4 mini to have a "S8 mini" ?
There are a lot of S4 mini user who would be happy to update their phones to a "S8 mini"
So is there are skilled dev/modder who could makes this dream of us S4 mini users come true?

What features do you expect it to have and which version of Android? Was it just meant to port the style (UI) of the S8 on the latest stock Rom for the s4 mini LTE?!
I'm not a dev, but I might also be interested to have S8 mini rom. I just bought a Note 4 now and repaired the Touch of my S4 mini. Now it looks like new from the outside, only the software-inside is still looking ugly. It might be the first try of creating an own rom..... I'm ready I guess, gonna look later today on it. (Y)

You can do for kitkat 4.4.2.
Do not add the s8 buttons.
Add all features of s8.

It's very difficult as the last Samsung update is 4.4.4 so only you can add s8 themes , icons ,fonts etc

Apparently not... So sad... It would be best if it had same Android and features as S8, well some of them at least, no bloatware...

Its Official lineageos Android 7.1.2 for our phone from arco68. His rom works very well. Use it since 6-7 months.
You could possible find install theme/launcher/icons to have look a like a galaxy s8 (mini). I as example use nova launcher and MIUI Icons (doesn't like the newer ones). And MIUI 6 Wallpapers.
It's without any bloatware. Android 4.4.4 from samsung has around 350? packages (around 90 I disabled). Lineage os around 150-190.

It's impossible to make an s8 rom because reasons.
We don't even have official 6.0 TOUCHWIZ, so yeah.
But is possible theme kitkat stock rom, like Hoplite or VROM

Don't know if possible but a S8 rom for s4 mini i9190 users with samsung features and fonts in the new android 8.0 would be incredibly brilliant. If it's someone who could make it, it would be awesome. Please, if you read me and know how to do it, make me happy. :fingers-crossed:

I got a Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 3G Version (mondrian3g) for a long time, first it's powerful processor ran some great applications and games, but now, the android system that been changed by Samsung Touchwiz slowed down the processor speed, and I cannot customize it. I saw T320 and T325 roms all over the forum, only rom for T321 I found is the mondrian3gX rom. Now i'm using that rom, but I still want more original android system with faster experience. Can anyone port or build Cyanogenmod or Lineage OS for Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 3G version SM-T321? If anyone can help me, a lot of thanks.
