Hi there,
have you done your repair of the earpiece module and have been succesfull?
The earpiece of my Galaxy W crashed last week and I'm thinking about repairing it by myself. Can you perhaps report your experience?
I've just got the following tutorial video for opening the device:

Thanks a lot!

Hello everyone,
I'm currently a T-Mobile Pulse Mini owner, and I desperately need to upgrade my phone.
I am looking at the Motorola DEFY on T-Mobile but I am concerned about the speaker issue. I don't really want to have to send it away within a week of getting it.
Has the issue been fixed in the manufacturing process? Is there a way I can check for the "Blue Dot" or whatever (and is this a 100% sure method of checking) whilst in the shop?
Thanks,
Pete
(No, I'm not trying to get around the "10 post" thing, I just want to be sure before I buy this phone)
Check this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=10540192&postcount=34
If that's available, chances are very low you will have troubles. If not, there is an real chance you will have to wait for it 3 weeks when it's in repair.
Alright. I'll check for those when I'm in the T-Mobile shop. Thanks, much appreciated.

That's what happend to me. I bought defy,in few days my display died and I was like 30 days without my defy. I got it back and now after few months my speaker died and today I'm sending it again
I went into my local T-Mobile shop and asked about the speakers.
They said "The ones we have in stock have all been fixed, but if you do find a problem, we'll send it off free of charge and have it back within the week"
Yay good news =) Should be buying one when this damn bursary gets in...
I changed the model twice Neo Xperia have bluetooth failure, I try to connect to the handsfree in my car but will not let me link.
Try the link but I always say (Linked but no connection), I have also the Xperia Mini Pro and connects to the headset nicely and without error.
I like this phone with failures per factory brings I dare not buy it, listen and read it works very well but it seems that I have bad luck with this phone.
If the next change comes with the same fault I have to find a different model and not what to choose, I have seen the LG Optimus 2X and I wonder if this phone is recommended
Get either the Samsung Galaxy S2 , the LG Optimus 2x or the LG Optimus 3D

Thank you very much for the reply, after trying ROMs and with the permission of the seller to try and find a solution that is resolved with the 2.3.4 ROM, I work Bluetooth works but has cost me, I still have the warranty for two years and I am delighted with this phone, of course follow your advice.
Again .... Thank you very much for your generous assistance
I will follow your advice and thank this great forum where you can find the solution to our problems
regards
Hi,
just when I needed to coordinate with some friends this weekend I encountered a problem with my desire z:
I can not hear sound from the normal speaker used when calling someone.
Hands-free / headset are working fine. When I switch back from hands-free or unplug AND change the volume suddenly the internal speaker is working again.
I found a few threads describing the same problem but no cause or solution is available.

Any Ideas how I can fix it? I already reset the whole device (back to stock image (same problem)).
Thanks!
FadenB
well if it persists after reset then most likely it will continue after flashing a new rom (if you are rooted) my best guess is its hardware. involves a complete teardown of your phone but is a cheap fix to replace the speaker
Yeah I used to have this issue with my G2. I finally gave in and got it repaired at a local phone repair shop in my town (mostly because the screen was acting up, but I told them about the problem so they fixed it also). Going to a phone repair shop in your town would be your best bet. Or buy the part off ebay and do it yourself. I hear it isn't too hard but its time consuming. I don't know how much they will charge you but I imagine it won't be too much (my thought would be around 10 bucks or a little more, but no more the 50). Hopefully this helps you out.

Hi Everyone,
First of all I would like to say that I am new to this Forum, So please excuse me If this happens to be in the wrong section. I happend to purchase my Samsung Galaxy S3 (I747 ROGERS) Just a week ago and noticed an issue with the identification of my Simcard. It keeps reading "NO SIM" After further examination it turn out two of the "Sim Reader Pins" are damaged inside the device.
I decided to purchase the part from eBay:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/200850522564...X:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_3018wt_1378
& Decided to complete this Repair Myself by following this Youtube Guide:
START THE VIDEO AT 4:00 <------
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eo93EF7rVIw
(However) As you may have noticed this repair is for the (I9300) Version.
My Two Questions/Concerns are simple, Does the I9300 Resemble the same steps taken on a I747 Model?
& Secondly has any other forum member tried this Repair? As it does seem really simple.
THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP!
I had the same exact problem and followed the same video you posted. The only thing different is, I didn't unscrew the 2 top screws. replacing the sim card/microsd slot was a breeze. tools needed: screw driver and plastic knife
Good Luck
Hello everybody,
I bought a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 last year.
Until August 2022 I have never had any problems.
Then now it is not possible to enable wifi and when I open it the audio no longer works.
I called Samsung about the warranty and they told me it's not covered by the warranty for them because it has a small mark
in a corner of the smartphone, absurd.
So since I am an IT and electronic technician and I have already repaired Iphone in the past, I am trying to repair it myself.
Also because to repair it out of warranty they asked me for 600 euro.
I have already opened the back cover and checked the various flex cables.
I wanted to ask you if there was a Fold 3 hardware expert among you, I mean that he knows the various components.
for example for the wifi problem that does not enable what should I look at exactly, does it have its own board or a flex cable that I can replace?
For audio not working when I open it here too maybe it could be a flex cable problem.
I have yet to open the main display to see the other components.
Let me know if there is any expert.
Thanks
