How to Restore Baseband for AT&T? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II

Hi guys,
I'm trying to unlock my AT&T 4.1.2 Note II, and from this thread, it says that unlocking is dependent on the version of baseband, and a UVALK8 baseband phone could be unlocked even if it's on 4.1.2.
Therefore, I'd like to know if there is a guide on how to restore baseband? My current baseband is UCAMC3, 4.1.2, non-rooted.
Much help appreciated!

You might get a better response in the At&t thread. You are in the Sprint forums.

Are modem's carrier specific? Even after flashing back to ff24 no data. Apn is correct, and no help from Cspire Wireless.

Looking for the LH9 modem

I'm using Wicked's JB v.4 ROM, but I've been doing some research to try and get my AllShare Cast dongle working and some peeps said flash the LH9 modem, so I'm going to try it, but I can't seem to find the modem alone. I'd like to keep my ROM.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
This is the thread that I thought was complete but I don't see LH9 there.

Do you know what carrier / country / firmware LH9 is for? Might help tracking it down.

[Q] How to upgrade to 4.1.2 through PC and not OTA?

So I've got the AT&T Note 2 unlocked through a code from them.
The AWS unlock band works great with my T-mobile plan.
Except my software is at 4.1.1, I can't update without a sim or with the T-mobile one.
Anyone know of a trick or way to do the software update for this AT&T phone
Thanks
Download from Sam mobile.com

Just a follow up I go to this site:
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/1/?model=SGH-I317&pcode=ATT#firmware
I see one firmware there from October 2012, is that the 4.1.2 version? I don't see any version number in the listing on the web page

There must be a easier way though, for AT&T customers who had trouble with OTA update, im sure they probably providd a procedure for a direct update through some software

Forget stock roms. Just flash as AOKP rom. It's much better.

so im still looking for the updated AT&T stock rom.
im using AT&T Note 2 on T-mobile but would like the multi window feature, etc. I am rooted, prefer to use the stock roms due to less issues vs testing custom roms.

Yeah I plan on keeping stock AT&T Note 2 rom, but have the AWS band unlock so I can use this on T-mobile.
I am hoping this will move me up to the latest updates and still in keep intact my setup for the T-mobile setup I have running.

[Q] Make AT&T Galaxy S3 act and look like Galaxy S4

I am saving towards a Galaxy S4, but in the meantime, I was wondering if there is a Rom that can make my S3 look and feel like a S4?
Thank you!
If you're talking about the features like eye tracking and finger hovering over and stuff like that then no. Its nearly impossible to port those things since its completely different hardware and TouchWiz is closed source. There is a couple of ROMs that have multi-window and other goodies but not like the S4. You can search and look around for a modified S4 launcher and theme to make it look like one. But that's as close as you'll get.

The only thing you can do is wait for Samsung to release the 4.2.2 update.

Yes, to answer your original question. There is a way to make it look like the S4.
Hyperdrive [XDA Link] - It has a few of the widgets that the S4 has as seen in the screenshots. Other than that, I would say hold off for official updates on the S3.

Only issue is the i747 and i747M seem to be the forgotten models when it comes to updates. I just read that the Verizon model just received the 4.1.2 update, and quite recently Sprint and T-Mobile received it. Also, the i9300 just got the 4.2.2 update. Meanwhile, the most used S3 (i747/i747M) hasn't received anything, nor have there been any news or hints regarding updates.

BS... ATT themselves don't have 4.1.2
they probably do but its unreleased.
Lol if you do please PLEASE provide a system dump and help the devs out. If you do why didn't you say so if every stock TW ROM on xda is only 4.1.1.
If you had it wouldn't you of noticed every single ATT S3 out there was different from yours? .... Sorry and apologize for the language but its straight BS
And here is the direct link to an ATT s3 that only ships with 4.1

My AT&T SGH-i747 only came with 4.1.1. (Somehow, I thought I had 4.1.2; but, apparently I was wrong.)
I was also searching for ways to upgrade the software to make it more S4-like. If I must wait, then I must wait. But I really enjoy tinkering with it.
Until recently, I had AOKP Android 4.2.2 on it, but an update (9-10-2013) caused my phone, messaging, and several other apps to disappear.
So now, I'm back to the original factory, unlocked, unrooted, stock Android 4.1.1.
It wants to do an AT&T update, but I don't know what the update is. So, I haven't approved it yet. I want to go back to AOKP, but I can't find the file I used with ODIN to root it the first time.

If you are going to AOKP, I think you just need to flash a recovery, i.e. CWM or TWRP and flash the rom of your choice.
flash rom to 4.1.2
As long as you're not rooted the built in OTA updater in the Settings should update you to 4.1.2. I recommend CF Auto Root and pwncakes' Quantum rom (4.3) if you like AOSP, if not, Hyperdrive is easily the most complete TW rom.

I think this was a typo
PAC Man rom is truly awesome in 4.3 nightlys.. I use it with lean kernel. battery is great and so is everthing else.

Does anybody know of a good read on...

baseband, modem and bootloader? These terms are thrown around and its becoming confusing.
e.g. for TMobile M919, MDL is referred as the bootloader as well as the baseband.
Here you go http://www.talkandroid.com/guides/beginner/android-rom-and-rooting-dictionary-for-beginners/ this should explain it all to you.
